They power washed our driveway, sidewalks, and some of our brick. It actually took longer than the contract called for, but they decided to go ahead and finish without extra charges. Not only did they do a very nice job, they also pointed out some problems with the brick that we hadn't noticed.

Everyone was on time and did a professional job.

I am very pleased with the quality of work delivered by Fine Painting. The entire exterior of my home was badly in need of pressure-washing, and was also difficult because of it's size and different levels. It was done beautifully and looks brand new. I will definitely use Fine Painting again.

Bob the owner is very professional and prompt in replies. His crew is polite, punctual and does quality work.

Fine's painter did an excellent job. He worked during some rather cold days. It is impossible to see where the touch up was done. He cleaned the work area completely when finished. We have used Fine Painting Inc. for all our exterior house painting since July of 2001. We would use no one else. It is a family firm that takes immense pride in their work. I recommend them highly.

They were terrific. They were efficient and much cheaper than anyone else.

They painted the interior of my house. They provided me with an estimate that proved to be accurate. The job required 5 days as estimated. The painters arrived on time each day. The quality of the work was very good.

They came out to give me an estimate and I hired them. I asked him about the Angie's List discount. He said yes, then he bought the paint, came out, painted two coats, then said it doesn't look good and may need another coat. He just said he would put on a third coat and forget the discount. I did not think that was good.

It went well. The first day two painters arrived and spent the day repairing the drywall that had cracks from settling. When they told me it might take a third day instead of just two, I told them that I had to be at work and had only planned to be off for two days as per the in-home estimate. Mr. Fine sent a third painter the next day to expedite the work and they finished on time. I gave them a B on price because the final cost ended up a little higher than the estimate, but they were still the least expensive of all the bids I got.

Dave and his crew were thorough, professional, eager to please, and patient. There were weather delays, unfortunate for them. They were willing to return after completion to scrape off lightly painted areas on windows. The office was tricky to reach on occasion, but overall, everything was very satisfactory. Would definitely recommend them to others, and would contact them for future projects.

Fine Painting was one of three companies we received quotes for this job and all were reasonable. However, Fine was willing to work with our tight schedule as we needed the walls painted prior to the installation of some new flooring we had already scheduled. Two workman came and prepped the walls, which had some new drywall in some areas and existing drywall in the rest of the room. They painted the ceiling and walls and the trim. The quality of the job was good and we were pleased with the finished job.

We have used Fine Painting before two different times. I have always been pleased with their attention to detail and to the work ethic of the painters. Work this time was started when we were told it would. Weather interfered causing a delay of two business days from projected completion date. Work was completed the first possible day. Wood rot was found and was called to my attention. This was repaired by the company's carpenter without delay. The job was completed to our satisfaction. The painters were neat and very nice to talk to. There was never any mess or materials left around. We would use them again.

I'm very pleased. I've hired Fine before; they come right away and estimate a job; I receive the written estimate within a day or two, along with a contract. Half of payment is due when they begin, and the other half upon completion. They are neat and clean. They show up as promised. They had to match the wood floors when staining the stair treads, and they really hit a homerun there. They're all very respectful and professional. I am highly satisfied with their work, and will definitely have them back when I need work done.

We had some difficulty getting started after initial approval of estimates.

Add painting to the ever growing list of home maintenance jobs I thought I did well until I observed a professional perform the job. Fine Painting came to me from Angies List. They responded very quickly to my request for an estimate on the work I was requesting be done. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and made suggestions for products that I was not familiar with. Our deck was in poor condition. He educated me on different products and told me why one might work better for our home than another. Fine Painting is a very popular company...it's tough to get on their schedule. Our initial appointment was in March. We paid our deposit to get on their list. Our work was not completed until October. The next time I use them I will keep that in mind for the timing of the work I want completed. Their carpenter made repairs to areas of the exterior that had rotted or needed other attention. Their painters were very pleasant and courteous. The work took about two weeks to complete. We could not be more pleased....especially with the deck. Their sales associated suggested a darker color than I would have ever chosen...and I love it...looks like a brand new deck. I will never buy a paint brush again!

These people are great! Nice, professional, fairly priced, on time. Did exactly what we wanted. We added items and they were very happy to adjust the scope of the projects while they were here.

I was extremely pleased by the work that was done. Colors were chosen by me, then picked up by the company. They said they would begin between 8:00 and 8:30 on the day they were to start. They appeared in our driveway at 8:02 AM. They went right to work and finished three rooms in two days. The painters were very conscious about wanting to please me with every detail. I would definitely hire them again.

The painted areas look great -- the paint I selected was a match to the gray already on the house, the highest level of durability, etc. offered by Sherwin Williams. These exposures on the exterior take a terrible beating from the sun and elements. There was a small issue of differences in sheen on the garage doors that was promptly corrected by Dave on the day that I called. The "B" grade in responsiveness was not an "A" only because I wrote them a deposit check (I had used Fine painting before and felt comfortable doing this) in early April and by late September I had not heard from them about a start date. To be fair, I did tell Bob I was not in a great hurry, but I do think they may have overlooked us. Anyway, once I rattled the chains we were off and running the very NEXT DAY. Overall, Fine Painting did a very fine job!

Overall, we felt that we paid a premium price for average quality. We initially went with Fine painting over those who were less expensive because we were convinced that the quality would be better. We had to call them back twice to correct some glaring mistakes. And to be honest, the finished product is still not that great. In their defense, they willingly came back to attempt to fix the issues that we had. Bottom line: they are reasonable to deal with but the painters that work for them simply aren't that great.

Jeff was very polite, accommodating and professional. He arrived early and sat in his truck until the scheduled time of 8 am. I greatly appreciated this because my dog was running loose in the house prior to 8 and the sound of the doorbell sets him off. I showed Jeff the deck (approx 225 sq. ft.) and told him I had other areas depending on the 4 hour time frame. When he finished with the deck, he asked where I wanted him to work next. It was very important to him that I be satisfied with his work. Mr. Fine, owner of the business, called me after the work was completed to make certain I was pleased with their service.

He was very nice and they were highly rated. They came out to do an estimate, but they never got back to me. I even emailed them, but still no response.

The owner came to preview job, gave an estimate promptly, & followed up with the work the following spring. He returned calls & the painters were all very professional & helpful with their responses/advice when I had questions.

The carpentry crew arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time and worked quickly. They were through with their part in less than two hours. I thought the drywall/mud work would be completed that same day (my misunderstanding) but they arrived the next morning and worked through early afternoon repairing and replacing drywall and mud. They arrived the third morning on schedule to begin painting and were wrapping up by early afternoon. The guys were working with four different paint colors for this job, one only a shade darker than another color. They didn't realize the paint store didn't give them a gallon of the darker shade until two coats of the lighter color had already been applied in the powder room. While the painters were willing to go back and get the color I asked for (one shade darker), it made no sense to repaint. To make up for the mistake, they used extra trim paint to freshen up some doors that weren't part of the specified work. We've been in our home 7 years and those doors really needed some cleaning up, so I'm appreciative of the gesture. Plus my family and friends never noticed the powder room was darker than the hall, so I'm glad I didn't make them repaint. I'm happy with the work.
