On 6/30 sent an email to Fine Painting cancelling deal because of nonresponsiveness within 2 business days

Mike showed up on time and efficiently repaired three areas in our house to be paint ready. Surfaces look good and the repair should blend right in when it is painted. This was a very good deal for the repair, as I had another estimate for three times the amount.

The deck looks horrible...all the coating chipped off. $500 spent for ?? Phoned Bob Fine and asked him to come out and look--2+ weeks ago. Nothing. Have followed up with multiple voice mail messages and emails--zero response. In the meantime had a client needing interior of their offices in Indianapolis painted--I emailed and called Bob Fine again about connecting with my client for an estimate. Never did. Today (6/25/14) I again phoned the office..spoke to a very nice lady who told me the "business is in transition". I asked her why Bob has not replied to my numerous emails and calls...she couldn't. I then asked her if I was the only person she had heard this from...her reply "No...several people". Very sad to see a company who performed very well for you in the past have these issues....

Greg & John were very punctual and professional when we contracted with Fine Painting, Inc. to paint several rooms in our home. The job was expected to take 2.5 days and they finished in 2! The job was done very professionally and the clean up was better than our expectations. We have used this company in the past for exterior painting and dry wall repair and have found them to be an excellent provider which we would highly recommend.

This was needed to be done for years but was SO afraid for painters to spill paint onto the stained crown molding, so let it go . Finally got the nerve to get done and was most pleased and impressed that not a drop got on the molding! Very impressed! Very neat and tidy clean up. The painters were all helpful in removing light fixtures and replacing them following their work. I did find some spills on the walls the day after . I called and they were out to clean them up the next day no problem, very easy to work with.

We had used Fine Painting before to paint the outside of our house and chose to use them again. Like previously they did a great job. I would recommend them highly.

I requested an estimate on the company's website. Bob Fine responded within the 24 hours promised, we set an appointment for the estimate and he arrived as scheduled. Within two days I had a written estimate. I called to schedule the work and request a certificate of insurance. The insurance certificate arrived promptly by e-mail and we scheduled the work about 2-3 weeks out. Fine Painting is a professional organization and easy to work with. Scheduling was about what I expected from a respected company in high demand at this time of year. Gerald and Keith arrived at 8:30 as arranged and worked steadily until about 2:30 when they were finished. They took a short break around 10:30 to buy color-matched paint for the trim and grab a quick lunch I learned later (a really quick lunch). Bob, don't let these guys get away. They are really nice men and reflect well on your business. The repairs were amazing! It is impossible to see that any damage ever existed. They re-textured portions of the ceiling, repaired nail pops and repaired drywall damaged by an ice dam and home settling issues. The room is perfect! All we had to do was let the paint dry, vacuum the carpet and put the room back together. I highly recommend this company and will include them on the Preferred Contractors list for our local Homeowners Association.

.This job went great right from the start. Mike and Chris arrived on time and didn't mess around. One took care of the Drywall in the garage near the water tank and the other hit the house drywall problems. They then started painting the hallway/dining room giving the ceiling one coat and the walls one coat , the next day another coat was put on the walls. This whole job only took a day and a half. We would definitely use Fine Painting again.

I first contacted Fine Painting in April of 2013 and an estimator came out and we went over all that needed to be done. After a month of not getting an estimate, I contacted them and was told they would look into it. After several more emails I finally got my estimate (which was somehow lost) that was one of the lowest for the best exterior paint. After accepting the quote I was told that the work would be done in July. I didn't hear from them towards the end of July so I had to contact them once again about when the work would be done. Their response was within the next 3 weeks. Once again, 4 weeks had past and I have yet to hear from them. I gave them one last chance and got a date that was within two weeks. After that date was rained out, a great couple of guys just appeared a couple of days later and completed all the work (this was now in September, 5 months after getting a quote). I was able to walk around the home with the painters after the job was completed and had them fix a couple of things (which they were happy to do). They ended up doing a good job once they actually got to the job site.

They were on time covered my appliances and furniture completed the work in a timely manner. They did very good quality work and were very friendly.

They arrived on time and completed the job as specified in our agreement in less than the quoted 4 hours. They cleaned up all material before they left.

Although I ultimately went with a different provider for the service, it was honestly a toss up between that company and Fine Painting. I had four different companies come out to give me estimates and Fine Painting really got my attention. Their price estimate was the second least expensive and Greg's knowledge and professionalism made me feel confident in their ability to do a great job. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire them in the future. They are definitely worth contacting if you're in the market for painting services.

The guys were great and did a wonderful job. Well worth the money.

Everything went very well. They did an excellent job. Rob Fine called in advance to let me know when the painting would start and then called the day after they finished to see how things went. This is the 2nd time I have used Fine Painting this year. They did an excellent job on both visits.

Gary was a fast worker, he got more done than expected in 4 hours. They didn’t contact me at 1st, but after that they were very responsive – allowed me to change the date once.

The service turned out very well. I had them strip wallpaper and paint stair risers. It took an extra 2 man hours for them to complete the service so there was an additional reasonable fee. The crew did a professional job and scheduling was very easy.

Job was done in the same excellent manner as all the other jobs that fine painting as done for me. Price as always was reasonable. My son says that he will use fine painting in the future.

I purchased an Angie's list deal for $150 and paid a total of $750 which was well over my budget, but there was some good patch work done with the walls and the room looks amazing!!!! This is my favorite room in the house and money well spent.

The service was great! We used Fine Painting for interior work several times in the past. Greg came to give a quote within a week of my call asking for a quote. I was told they were super busy and that it would likely be August before they could get us in. However, when Bob followed up to ask about the quote, I let him know that I wanted to use them but that I wasn't willing to wait until August. He got us in much, much sooner. The estimate from Fine Painting was higher than a few other companies but I knew that the job would be done well, which is why we choose Fine Painting. Dave was terrific. The house looks great, the deck looks great, and we're super happy. We'll definitely use Fine Painting again when we need additional painting jobs completed. My only point of dissatisfaction, if warranted, is that Fine Painting was the only company of the 3 that I asked for quotes that said that the cost would be higher (at the tune of $1000 or more) if we chose to paint the house a different color. I'm not sure why the cost would be higher if we were choosing a darker color. Needless to say, we chose the same color. I'm happy with the color of the house so it's not an issue other than to say that I don't understand why the other 2 companies didn't quote a higher price for a different color. Overall, great experience!

They did a good job. Two people came out for the service. I had used them before in the past for painting the exterior of my home. The are efficient and thorough workers. The pricing is competitive. They are pretty busy so it sometimes takes about 3-4 weeks to get them scheduled.

Quality of work is excellent as always (we have used Fine Painting for multiple projects in the past). Communication with office was very good (an improvement over last year). You pay just a bit more for Fine but they are worth it (most times you get what you pay for!).
