I called the provider in late May/June regarding repairing some woodpecker holes on my siding. They took my information but did not return my phone call. I had to call them back in August. Bob Fine came out and give me an estimate and told me they had charge me for a minimum of 3 hrs labor. When a repairman came out he completed the job in 1 hr I felt the cost of service to be high. The completed job was of very high quality and the repairman came out to look at it a day before he performed the repairs. He was very punctual, professional and very responsive to my needs. I was very pleased. I have previously used this provider a number of times and have been very pleased with the work quality and will use them again. I believe the lack of communication in the earlier stages of the project to be a isolated incident.

Our painter was prompt and courteous. He did a great job and even added a small paint repair job that was not scheduled. My only issue was that he did not come knowing his scope of work. Fortunately, I stayed home to give him direction. He would have painted the entire room when only wall needed repair and paint.

Because the front of my house is very difficult to get to the painter had to work extra hard to paint all the exterior. He did a great job.

The men worked hard and steadily. They took pains to achieve good results, kept our house free of splattered paint, cleaned up well and finished the work surprisingly quick.

I requested a repair in a small bathroom, it needed to be "paint ready", they left and it is far from paint ready. It will require sanding and some evening out in the corner he repaired.

The crew was prompt, experienced. The work was excellent. We are extremely pleased.

I contacted them for an estimate. Mr Fine came out and looked at the work I needed done. A written estimate was provided within a couple of days. I called to schedule the work and was given an appointment within the timeframe I needed. The painter showed up on time each day and cleaned up after himself. The repair to the damaged textured ceilings came out very nice. Textured ceilings are a pain once they are damaged and I'm impressed with the quality of the repair in matching the existing texture. Paining was neat and well done. I don't know why I ever painted a room myself now that I see how reasonably priced Fine Painting is.

Mike with Fine a Painting arrived promptly on time and repaired a 16 x10 hole in my main den ceiling that occurred due to a water leak from the master shower upstairs. I had expressed my concern to Mike with matching the texture to the ceiling and he did a fabulous job to ensure that happened. Since I had their services for 4 hours while Mike was allowing the drywall mud to dry on the ceiling, he went around to other rooms where I had damage to drywall or needed minor repairs and fixed the problem areas. He went back after all spots were dry and sanded the drywall to make it smooth and ready for primer and paint. Mike finished by thoroughly cleaning up all work areas and made sure that I was satisfied before departing. I will gladly recommend / use Fine Painting again and I would request Mike to do the work.

We had three damaged areas in our textured drywall ceilings, in three different rooms . We had repaired two of them ourselves some years ago, but they weren't perfect. When we had a leak in our foyer during a recent rainstorm, we decided to get all three repaired properly. The ceilings aren't popcorn, just textured drywall mud, and it is hard to duplicate the exact look. Also, the foyer ceiling is 18 feet high, and we couldn't easily get up there to fix it. We chose Fine Painting because of Angie's List. When I first called, I got an answering manchine and it took a day or so for Mr. Fine to call me back. We arranged a date for him to come look at it and give an estimate. He came out right on schedule and gave the quote, and then we scheduled the work for a few weeks later. Gerald and Keith showed up right on time to do the work, and did a great job. We were happy with the work, and now our ceilings are perfect again! I would hire Fine Painting again.

It went beautifully. I've used Fine before, and have always been extremely pleased. They come promptly to do an estimate, and I receive it via email within a day. When I accept their bid, I get a call to schedule right away. This time they did a couple of extra jobs not on the estimate...I mentioned that they should be cautious if they moved the bed in my bedroom, as I had recently noticed that one of the tall posters was broken at the spot where it attaches to the base. They fixed it for me without my even asking, which just blew me away, and the bed is as good as new. They also repainted several water spots on the ceiling that had resulted from some nail pops that were repaired the week before they came. I love this company!

The workers showed up on time every day and were willing to redo areas where the texture didn't match as well. They covered everything in plastic but I have found some areas in our great room and kitchen where the paint dripped from the ceiling and got on furniture. The work itself looks great. The overall cost was about $200 more than the original estimate which was a little disappointing.

Mr Fine arrived on time to give us an estimate on having our deck power washed and stained. The problem we had was when he emailed us the estimate, the first email came with 11 attachments, none of them were the estimate, just pictures of logos and I don't know what else but no estimate. I replied and asked him just to send the estimate only without all the attachments. The 2nd email came with 14 attachments, still no estimate attached and I wasn't willing to open all the attachments to search for it. I replied back again saying I just wanted ONE Word document with the estimate on it, nothing else. The 3rd email did include the estimate in the body of the email, not in a Word document as I requested and the quote was much higher than expected. But we chose not to hire him, not because of the quote but because it was such a hassle to receive a simple quote on one page. He needs to get a little more organized and do what the client requests without making it so difficult. In addition, when I asked when the work could be done, at first he said they are booked out 2 weeks, but later he said we can come out in 3 days. So he seemed disorganized and that made me feel frustrated. I'd rather hire someone who can be more straight-forward and organized.

Did an excellent job and helped replace all furniture and decorations. Very nice man. Had a personal deadline for getting this done and Fine Painting changed their schedule to work with ours. GREAT work! Very customer oriented

Jack and his crew are awesome! Very professional and courteous. They even called when they were running 10 minutes late! We have hired Fine Painting to paint the exterior in the fall. We look forward to working with them again and would happily recommend them to anyone interested in quality work.

He was flexible and worked with me at every situation that would come up. The garage wasn't empty and he moved everything himself. We discussed types of paint, options, etc. I was well-satisfied with the completed job. It was a 2-car garage so it took more than 4 hours but the price was still reasonable and worth it. Now I will have the floor epoxied. I come and go thru the garage several times a day and it was depressing to be welcomed home by a dark, dingy, lack-luster garage.

It was pretty good. Their professionalism, service and clean up was good. They were late a couple of times.

They were here on time, very professional, worked hard and the supervisor re-checked everything to make sure it was done properly. They used the paint that I requested, and did a wonderful job.

I initially found Fine Painting after finding them on Angie’s List. When you call to schedule, they confirm the appointment before they come out, and they arrive exactly on time. We had them re-do a bad painting job of our hallway and foyer. The previous person who completed the work never filled in the nail holes and took three days to complete. The crew completed the work in four hours and filled all of the nail holes. When they were finished, it looked like an entirely different entryway. They painted our formal living and dining room. We were going to move the furniture, but they insisted on doing it themselves. They removed all of the wall hangings and filled the nail holes. They did a beautiful job with the work! There were two men completing the work. They were very friendly and hardworking. When they took their lunch, only one of the men took their lunch at a time and they both took no longer than thirty minutes in total. They clean everything up to be spotless after the work is completed before they leave. The owner even follows up with a phone call and a thank you card in the mail. They are very professional and are absolutely phenomenal!

The company was focused on whatever we wanted done. Dave bid the job and the workers did exactly what I asked from the bid. The basement was completely remodeled, plus we had them prime/paint the dated polyurethane trim to white. Two coats of finish paint on the walls. The paint residue was all removed upon final inspection. Payment wise, they asked for 50% deposit, then 50% upon final inspection/completion. Great customer focused company, so you won't go wrong as long as you have good communication skills with them. Great job!

They were prompt for the estimate date and time, they were able to schedule the work quickly. They were on time for repair and did an excellent job! They were friendly, responsible and professional. They were careful to cover furniture and did a great job on clean up afterwards.

The crew showed up on time on Saturday morning. They spread out plastic because the drywall texture, obviously, makes a big mess. Once the crew started they immediately got frustrated that the texture was not coming off easily. They were taking many breaks and hanging out in the driveway smoking and talking on their phones. Then one of the two took the van and left for a long while. When he came back he had a gallon of paint. I went out in the garage after about 15 minutes and saw that they had not gotten all of the texture off and started to paint the ceiling, which was not ever talked about. It was at that point that I told the crew to stop working. I then called Dave Fine and told him that I was not happy and that he needed to pull his guys off the job. He said that he was going to charge me $50 dollars an hour for the work that was done. Even if they actually worked the full half day that would equate to $200. I would argue that they worked about half the time that they were at the house that morning. The crew left and I did not hear anything from Dave until about a week later. He sent an email asking if he could expect payment soon. Up to that point we had never received a bill from Dave. The next day he sent an email saying that if he did not receive payment by the next day he was going to file a mechanics lien on our property. I sent him an email stating that I had never received a bill and that I was out of town traveling and could not get a payment to him by the next day. He then sent me a bill for $400! This figure floored me because it was double the amount that he talked about on the phone. I told him that his price was not fair and he kept threatening the mechanics lien. He ended up coming down to $300, but that is still more than what he verbally said and way more than the value that I received. I wish there was a way for me to upload pictures here because it would prove the shoddy workmanship of this company. I actually talked to a lawyer who said that the mechanics lien was designed for good reputable companies who completed good work to have a tool to use when someone was not paying their bills. Not for some company to threaten someone when you don't do what you say you are going to do. At the end of the day this guy does not do what he says he is going to do and he treats at least some of his customers like crap. I don't know how on earth this guy has an A rating. Family members I guess. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. We got cheated by at least $100 and really more when you consider the fact that we did not get a full half days work. Buyer beware with this guy.
