Took weeks just to get scheduled. I called to confirm the schedule and they still didn't have our request on file. I knew I would have to pay for sheet rock, but was not aware that I would also have to provide tape, spackle, and tools for the job.

Went well, did a good job and fixed the problem.

The crew was always on time. These guys are good. The main guy was Gary, who was a total pro. We were very pleased with the results. We had Fine Painting paint all of out downstairs a few years ago, and we won't hesitate to use them again.

The crew of painters were always on time, considerate of my home and did a very good job painting. We were just moving in, so the home was empty, so I can't speak to moving furniture or that sort of work. I am very particular and they did a very good job painting. They got all the colors correct, did a crisp clean job - especially where two colors or wall/trim met. Nice clean lines and good coverage. The first few days were spent removing the wallpaper. After that it was pretty much a full time four man crew for almost two weeks and they worked consistently from about 8 am until 4 each day, with a lunch break. With just moving in, I had also scheduled some carpet installation and cleaning and the painters were excellent about working around those schedules so that I could have it all compete before the movers got here to move us in. The price was high - but it wasn't the highest estimate I got at all, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I hesitated to pay someone to come and do what I could actually do myself but the scope of the work and the fact that the home was empty (and a great time to get it all done at once) convinced me to hire it out and I'm SO glad I did. I might have saved a little money doing it myself but the results would not have been as professional AND more importantly - it got finished in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to use Fine Painting again or to recommend them to friends.

Contacted fine through Angie's List. Scheduled a date and Gary arrived on time, finished on time and did a great job leaving everything in place and cleaned up nicely.

I cancelled the job. I was told end of August with the bid given in May/June. I called several times and emailed - no response. Eventually I got hold of the owner/manager. I was given an estimate of end of Sep beginning of Oct. Those dates came and went with no call from anyone at the company. These guys must be busy because they don't have much time for customer service. Small companies should be good at this stuff. With this experience, I felt like I could wait until next year to find a company a little more responsive.

Overall I am pleased with Fine Painting. There was an issue but was resolved by the company. In late May (2014) I removed an older bathtub and ceramic tile surround from my master bathroom to install a new bathtub and surround. After the tub and surround were installed I needed a professional to repair the drywall around the surround and searched Angie's List. I contacted Fine Painting after purchasing "$150 for Four Hours of Drywall/Plaster Repair" from Angie's List. I was contacted within 48 hours to schedule a time for the work to be done. I was required to purchase the heavy/costly materials (drywall) while they supplied the tape, joint compound, etc. The day the job was to be completed the contractor was given the wrong address. He promptly called me to let me know he would be 30 to 45 minutes late (the address he was given was on the wrong side of town). The contractor was professional and completed the work within the four hour time period (from when he entered our home to when he left). He did a very nice job. The only issue I had (as stated before the issue was resolved by Fine Painting) was an invoice for an additional $100 that I received a couple of weeks after the job was completed. I contacted the contractor and explained that the job was completed within the scope of the Angie's List deal and should not have required the additional charge (which was not detailed on the invoice--it just simply stated I owed an additional $100). The company agreed not to charge me the additional amount. I am pleased with the work Fine Painting did and I would use them again in the future.

The scheduling was challenging partly due to rain but the actual work was executed very well. The crew was patient with us during the color selection phase and made few trips to the paint store which we really appreciated. There was no over spray or damage to other areas. I am happy with how the colors turned out and will hire the same business again in the future.

Interior went well and on time. Exterior took a long time to actually get scheduled, put of many times because they were had too much work scheduled and because summer was very rainy. Once they actually started, it went very fast with one day prepping (pressure spraying and scraping, rust-primer on steel lentils) and the next day doing the majority of painting the trim along the roof, around the front entrance and doors, gutters and down-spouts. They also stained our patio table and chairs. The third day they did some touch-up painting of previously inaccessible areas like the outer edge of doors that were not open the day before. All said, they did a very good job.

they did a great job, awesome prep work, sealing cracks, filling in holes, taping off. my house has a lot of windows and very 3 dimensional, (difficult job) and it looks beautiful now!! also mike gave me some good advice on type of paint to use and also advised me of something that was wrong that had nothing to do with painting.. appreciated!!

Fine Painters called when they were in route and I meet them at my Aunt's house that we were having repaired and painted. They introduced themselves and explained all that they were going to be doing. Mike had me pick out the colors that we wanted the walls painted and he immediately ordered the paint then went to pick it up. Chris stayed and immediately began working on repairing the many cracks that were in the walls and ceilings. It took them 4 full days to start and complete the job as it was a big job. They cleaned up after themselves and meet with me to approve of the job. They did and excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

He had sent me his estimate via email about 2 or 3 days after he had been here, we liked his best and our impression of him. I emailed back about 4 days later saying to contact us. I had not heard anything since, I waited a week so I called and left a voice mail. I waited another week again and called once again. The last call was answered by his secretary, she apologized he did not get back to us and she would lay a copy of the email on his desk. I waited another week and called the same late, she apologized again, I said I just want to get a date set up and it didn't need to be right away. She then said she would tell him about this and make sure he calls. It has been a month and we never have heard back from them.

They were on time. Did an excellent job, as always!

My Story: I got a quote for painting our exterior trim, which is a one maybe two day job, back in Feb of this year. We agreed on a price which was lower than others I had gotten, one of the main reasons we went with this company plus all the good reviews on Angie's List, and booked them in March. We were put on a list to get our job done this season. I was told May, then as I kept calling I was told it would be July. I called at the end of July when I had not heard anything and they told me I was top of the list for outside jobs so as soon as the weather was good and they were not in the middle of an inside job they would be out here to complete the work. I waited over 5 weeks and when I heard nothing from them I called back yet again. They told me they would be out last Thur and I waited at home Thur - no painters, no rain and no phone call! I call Fri mid day and left a message. I never got a reply. I called back today, the following Tue and after expressing my frustrating and dissatisfaction they told me they could have a crew out here the next day to do the job. At this point, it would have been nice to hear from the owner. I got a call back from the office and the lady I spoke to was not able to answer my questions, such as "will this be a one day or two day job?" I have lost faith in this company's quality and feel that they are just fitting me in which case may cause a rush job that would not be well done. Their customer service was below average and if I had any issues I was not confident they would take care of them for me. Disappointed customer! I just hope I can get the job done by someone else before the weather gets cold! I should have fired them a couple months ago!!

Overall, it went well. The power washing left a mess of our windows, which I cleaned after the work was complete. We were very pleased with the results. The painters were very courteous and professional. The reason for the rating lower than an A was because the initial scheduling communication left a little to be desired. The plan was to perform the job later in the month and one night we get a call asking if they can start tomorrow. It all worked out but there was a lot of scurrying around on our part and some initial confusion on paint colors, etc., I feel due to the adhoc scheduling. I also noted to the owners of Fine Painting that I was surprised at the cost...I thought it should have been about $1,600, but I also noted that I may be "out of touch" regarding these type services. In summary, we would recommend Fine Painting to others and we were still very pleased with the results.

I call on Fine Painting to do this work because I have used them to do my exterior painting since 2001. They do excellent work. I highly recommend them. Approximate secure dates: July 18, 2014- 8 hours for two men, $50.00 per hour=$800.00-Exterior touch up painting. July 23, 2014- 3 min. hours + $80.00 per hour-carpentry repair=$248.76.

It went very well. They were punctual, professional and friendly. They completed the work when they had promised.

They did great, no problems. They did the prep work (great job protecting all my items including furniture and floor) then painted the ceiling using the paint I provided. I did have to get more and he was very willing to let me know early to get it so that he was not just waiting around. Very helpful, answered a few other paint related questions. GREAT SERVICE.

I purchased the $150 Angie's List special for interior painting. They sent out one painter for four hours and finished as expected. Excellent quality painting and price. Definitely will hire again for any painting needing to be done. Highly recommend.

GARY WAS VERY PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. ALTHOUGH WE TOLD HIM IT DIDN?T REQUIRE PERFECTION, HE TOOK CARE TO RESURFACE THE AREAS NOT DRYING SMOOTH BECAUSE OF THE HUMIDITY. HE CLEANED THE AREA BEFORE LEAVING AND COMPLETED THE JOB AS PROMISED. WE WOULD DEFINITELY CALL UPON FINE PAINTING INC IN THE FUTURE.
