Last year we requested a quote to paint our house. Due to timing on our part we did not have the house painted. My wife called back about 2 months ago and they said they would honor the original quote, We were told that we were on the schedule for the week of Memorial Day. Last week I called back to get a firm date and to see what we would need to do to prep the house. I was told it was still set for the week of 5/25/15. All we had to do was clear the deck and make sure the outside facets were turned on. On Wed 5/20/15 I called and left voice mail to get a firm date, .The next morning the Secretary called me back and asked why I called. I I told her we are the schedule. She could not find us in their schedule, but she said she would have Bob Fine call me back. No return call. I called today 5/22/15 . The same Secretary was rude and to be honest had no grasp of basic English skills. Or maybe that is how she talks when she gets RUDE AND NASTY! I was told she is not responsible for whom Bob does and does not return to calls to. (I guess customers are low on the sheet) She also stated she was not the owner of the company, therefore I was complaining to the wrong person I would like to believe that she did deliver my first message. Who knows The Secretary is the first point of contact a customer has, aka the face of the Company. Based on her behavior and responses I know now the true culture of this company. I guess she was really upset that everyone else, but her, was at Carb Day and she was left behind. (Her words) Based on this experience alone I will be taking my business and my MONEY elsewhere.

They did a wonderful job. Vic was very meticulous and great on detail, plus very nice to work with.

Neal Fine came to see what i needed and the area to give me a price. He was very easy to talk with and explained what all they would do. The price was fair. I asked them to send me a contract because I wanted them to do the work and I accepted the price we discussed. I was anxious to get started because I had already moved articles and light furniture out of the area. before I talked with them. He told me he would schedule the job as soon as he could. They came in a few days. The 2 painters were experienced and finished the preliminary work before painting. They finished that same day. The painting looks great and I am very well satisfied. Estimates were submitted by four painting firms. We chose Fine Painting because of the price and previous experience by a relative. They began the work within two weeks of our agreement. They were in the house a total of nine days. They always arrived within 30 minutes of the stated time. They were always accommodating on any request. They did a great job of protecting furniture and fixtures. They even helped remove and replace wall hangings when I failed to get to them in a timely matter. They also made an excellent effort to clean up at the end of each day. We would definitely use them again.

Everything was great. I purchase a big deal that was running at the time. I can not remember the approximate date since it has been over a year now but a person came out did a great job and repaired two areas in the kitchen that need replacing. Very satisfied with the experience. I would highly recommend using this company again.

Estimation visit was timely and quick. Work was scheduled within the promised 2 weeks timeframe. Project took about 3 days and was estimated to take 3-4 days - so that was perfect. Work was flawless including rejuvenation of scratched woodwork. They arrived on schedule each day and finished on schedule and moved all needed furniture. They did a great job and I will use them in the future.

You can;'t even tell where the bulkhead was attached to the ceiling or wall. They blended the wall paint in with the existing color I'd painted the wall previously. No lines of demarcation are noticeable. The ceiling re-texturing blends in perfectly with the rest of the ceiling. They painted the entire ceiling. Prior to starting work they laid tarps from the front door and into the kitchen. Taped up plastic sheeting to cover the appliances and kitchen cabinets.

This was the 3rd time using Fine Painting in two residences. All work has been completed on time....looks amazing....first class operation.

They have always been doing a good job. We like their price and professionalism. Everything they did was very well done.

We are preparing our house for sale and needed to do some interior painting as part of that process. I hired Fine Painting after seeing their positive reviews here in Angie's List. I got an estimate from Neal Fine on February 18, 2015 which included the work listed above as well as some other rooms. We went ahead and scheduled the job but decided to leave out a couple of the rooms we had originally included in the estimate. They were able to start the job very quickly (within 1 week) of contacting them, which was great for us since we wanted to get the house prep done quickly so we could get it on the market. The crew showed up on time and were very professional and thorough on the job. They did a wonderful job of repairing lots of drywall issues (cracks, nail pops, drywall tape issues, etc) before they actually started the painting. The entire job took about 3.5 days and they had anywhere from 2-4 people on the job the entire time. The house looks wonderful now on the inside and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Based on the excellent work they did on the inside of the house, I will be contacting them shortly to schedule some outdoor painting as well.

They promptly responded to our request to provide a quote and were able to do the job within a few days. The painters arrived on time and were very professional, neat and thorough. We had a minor issue after job completion that they were very good about returning and completing in a timely manner. We have used them twice before and will do so again as our need arises. Very satisfied with their work and the price.

From the outset, Fine is very professional with visit to the house, followed by a formal written quote quickly provided. For all 3 jobs Fine has painted, we have been very satisfied. We feel the prices have been reasonable for the quality of work performed We contracted this most recent exterior work to Fine in the Fall of last year. The weather did not cooperate, and the work had to be postponed until Spring. Fine kept us informed during the Fall (we asked pretty late to have the work done) and since it did not work-out to be done in the Fall, they arranged to come as soon as weather permitted in mid-March on one of the few warm days available then. Since our exterior siding is real wood as was used 40 years ago, painting was not easy. The two painters assigned, arrived on time, went about their work, and completed everything in one day. Also included was a new exterior 6 panel door and frame in trim color, plus a patio door and trim. We were pleased with everything, and will have Fine do more work for us again whenever needed.

Neil Fine came to our home to quote the job. He explained just what they would do, outlined the time frame and really seemed to know his job well. We got one other quote that was lower, but selected Fine Painting because of the professional presentation Neil made at our home. The painters were also very professional, doing the on-site painting quickly and as cleanly as possible. Cabinet doors were removed to be prepared and painted off-site, which I appreciated since that was the messiest part of the job. Three days later the cabinet doors were returned, packaged in bubble wrap so they were not damaged in transit. The doors went back on quickly, some light touchup was done. Everything looks wonderful and we are very pleased with the job. It has transformed our kitchen and bath cabinets from the 1997 builder-grade oak into a modern, roomier-looking space.

In one word - FANTASTIC. I purchased a coupon for 4 hours of drywall repair. The gentleman arrived promptly at 8 am as promised. The work was of high caliber and he did a great job repairing the drywall in bathroom (after I demo'd everything). He cleaned up everything and left no evidence he was even there. He even ran to hardware store to get a piece of corner bead because he stated he wanted the corner to be perfect - and it was. I would recommend Fine Painting to anyone!

Do not hire Fine Painting. I hired this company to paint our house in August or early September. I was still waiting until today. I do not understand what is going on with this business, but they are unprofessional and unreliable in the extreme. Promises were made and never kept to our detriment. Here's the timeline: 7/18/14: Painting estimate emailed to us and accepted by us with 48 hours over the phone. 8/8/14: Email sent reconfirm acceptance and clarify the use of paint. 10/1/14: Sent email regarding repeated attempts to contact the company by phone and leaving messages as well as leaving messages on the business's website. Asking what had happened to their promise to paint and inquiring why they had not returned calls. 10/2/14: Response received from Fine Painting: "I am sorry for the delay getting back to you. We will be painting your home at the end of next or the beginning of the next. I will call when I have exact date. Bob." 10/27/14: Sent an email to Fine Painting: "We have not heard from you regarding the painting of our house. Please advise by Thursday, October 30, at noon, regarding your contract with us to paint our house." 10/30/14: Response received from Fine Painting: "We will begin your project on Monday. Look forward to seeing you then." 10/30/14: Sent an email to Fine Painting: "Thank you for your response. Would Thursday and Friday next week be best? There is a significant chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, and I wonder whether that will interfere with curing the paint." November 2014: No response from Fine Painting until the following email on 11/25/14: "We are sorry we could not get to your project this year. If you would like to have us complete your project in the Spring, we can offer a 10% discount off your total exterior project. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this offer. Please note: Only one discount per estimate can be applied." 12/14/14: Sent email to Fine Painting: "Yes, I would like to reschedule the painting of my house for early spring. Please confirm an approximate date for this painting." 2/17/14: Email from Fine Painting: Invoice with due date of that same date asking for 50% down before they would schedule our home painting. 2/22/14: Email to Fine Painting: "After the continued broken promises last year to paint our house, and our reliance on your promises to our detriment, I must say that I am extremely disturbed by the attached invoice that demands a down payment for exterior painting of 50% of the job, due February 17, 2015. This strikes me as disingenuous in the extreme, especially since you never requested such an upfront fee so far in advance in our previous discussions for work that was to be accomplished in 2014. Please be advised that we are no longer interested in any services that you have to offer, if, indeed, you had any intention of fulfilling these services."

The team worked professionally, neatly and cleaned up afterwards.
