Description of Work: Fine Painting painted our lower walk out level and two stairwells, including walls and ceiling. They also repaired drywall in several areas. The work was excellent and did a great job of cleaning up each night. We have used them in the past and will use them again. Several of my clients have used them and have been pleased

Description of Work: Scheduled a date and time for them to come out for an estimate, and they never came. No call, nothing.

Description of Work: I purchased the $120 Big Deal for 4 hours of dry wall. We had 3 new pendant llights installed over the kitchen island and a new light in the master bath that need to have some drywall work done. 2 Workers showed up on time, right at 8:15 got to work, finished the job at approzimately 11:45. Which was less than 4 hours I was thrilled with the job quality and the fact it didn't take longer than the 4 hours I PAID FOR. A week later I get an invoice for $160.00 I called and they said "Well we sent 2 guys" NO where in the deal was this stated. A little missleading...................

Carpenter fixed and repaired damaged front entry post, he did an excellent job, even managed to locate and replace a missing shutter. Painters prepared and painted repaired post, painted gutter boards, soffet''s. Painted a new color on shutters and the front door. Excellent work as always

Description of Work: We got an estimate for services we wanted for exterior painting and some carpentry work on portions of our house. Fine Paintings estimate was almost 3 TIMIES HIGHER than other estimates we had recieved.

Description of Work: We had two different contractors. Our Carpenter removed all the bad siding and replaced it with new siding and trim. Our Painter (Bob) came and applied one coat of oil based primer on all the wood then gave the siding 2 coats of latex paint. Fine Painting provided all the paint, siding and trim. They both did an excellent job. The job was only for the South side of our home. We have been doing the painting ourselves (one side at a time each summer) but when I noticed the siding was bad on the south side of our home I called Fine Painting to give me an estimate. Since summer is a busy time for exterior painters we waited 4 weeks to get the job started. We were okay with this and the job they did was excellent. We can now head into winter knowing our home is well protected.

Description of Work: After having met and received a Job estimate from their Sales Associate on 5/26/2011, I contacted their office on 6/14/2011 to finalize arrangements with him, but was referred to their Office Manger in his absence. I informed the Office Manager that I was leaning towards them for my work, but that their proposal was $300 higher than my lowest bidder. The Office Manger then reviewed the proposal, and indicated that he could lower their bid by $300.00, and we verbally agreed to proceed with the work, and that he would send me an invoice for the 50% down payment to start the job at the end of July, 2011. Today, I was contacted by the Sales Associate that I originally met with, and he accused me of "suckering" his Office Manager into a lower price. He indicated that on the proposal, the terms and conditions indicated price included all discounts. He then told me that his company would not be doing the work on my house, because he felt that I acted in bad faith with the Office Manager, even though the Office Manager initiated the discount, not me. What was particularly offensive to me was his condescending tone, bordering on insulting and bigotry, when he asserted that in his dealing, he had found that "those" people who want the highest quality at the lowest price, would never be satisfied with their work. He further indicated that he did not care whatever I wrote on Angie's List, he did not want the job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I guess the fact that this Sales Associate was the Son-In Law of the owner, gives him license to be unprofessional and abrasive in their behalf.

Description of Work: The quote was for 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The quote was for the painting and the service. They gave me a quote but they keep changing the amount. They came today and they wanted to change the price. He wanted to charge more for the paint. I tried to meet in the middle for the extra charge but he said I had to cover the full extra amount. We got everything ready for the painting including moving furniture but now they arent going to come to paint.
