Description of Work: They painted several of the wrong windows, and the ones that were painted were not scraped or sanded, and looked terrible. I could have done a much better job myself. When the owner looked at the windows, he said, "Well if I had known that you wanted them to look new, it would have cost a lot more." He did have some of the windows repainted, but I have never had such poor work done on a home by a "professional". This was about 10 years ago, and I still get upset thinking about it. This was a 350,000 dollar home in good condition, but I got the feeling that he was used to working on nicer homes.

Description of Work: They pressure washed, prepped and painted the entire house, including the deck, gutters, doors, trim and cedar siding. We have a 2400 sq foot house with particle brick front. They painted all but the brick. The crew that showed up was on time, well spoken, respectful of us and the property and very professional.

Description of Work: I had a bedroom painted. I paid for a full four hours but the job was done in two. Because he had extra time, he touched up some white trim. I still had time left over that I'd paid for, but I was happy enough I didn't mind. He was courteous and professional. My only qualm was getting in touch with the company as they did not respond promptly or by my preferred method of contact. I would, however, use them again.

Description of Work: Painted one wall of family room, hallway and bathroom. And some trim. It wAs ok. Som paint splatters noticed after he fact. Late In arriving. They got lost. I can understand that, but they should have left earlier In order to account for such. I was late to work. Asked for a quote on doing some other work. Though the price for the indoor work was reasonable, the quote for the outside work was exorbitant.

I had a painter arrive at the time they said they would and painted an area that was too difficult for me to reach. I was thrilled with the service and will definitely use them again!!!

Description of Work: Fine Painting had done work for us before. They did a great job and were very responsive to our concerns. We decided to use them again!

Description of Work: Called several painters to paint the outside of our custom home - 7,000 square feet. Three other companies were able to make it out to quote the job within 24 hours. Fine Painting indicated the were too busy and could not make it for two or more days. It is good to know they are busy; but I was not impressed at all!

Description of Work: This is actually the third time we have used Fine painting, and we are soooo happy with their work! The first time we used them, they painted our entire house interior, this was several years ago. We used them again in November of 2012 to do some work at my mother's house which is for sale in Marion. They removed old wallpaper, that was stuck to the walls using some kind of glue that would still be standing after a nuclear war! This wallpaper was over thirty years old, and not one corner of it was coming loose! We had, actually, tried to do some of the work ourselves and it was a miserable failure! But Fine painting was wonderful! We had kind of complicated instructions to get access to the house, since it was for sale and I was unable to be in Marion that day, and they were very relaxed and easy going about it. They were great about keeping me updated on their progress, and when I did get up there, they took the time to really explain everything they were doing in detail and give me some great suggestions! They removed the outdated wallpaper and painted where the wallpaper was, they were able to match the old paint colors perfectly on their own, as my husband had lost the list of paint color names and numbers! In March, we hired them again to do some additional work at the Marion house. We had removed carpet throughout the house to show the hardwood floors, and they removed the old carpet that was stuck to the old paint, put in trim and painted it. We felt completely comfortable with them doing the work unsupervised, and they did a fabulous job! Now we really don't want to sell the house, it looks so good!

Description of Work: Hired Fine Painting to paint walls in livingroom-dining room, entry and short hall. Also painted ceiling in those areas as well as the fireplace mantel. There was some ceiling repair needed, (nail pops). I was not initially satisfied with the retexturing on the ceiling where the nail holes and pops had been. So I called Bob Fine and he sent guys back to redo and repaint that area until I was satisfied. I appreciate their prompt response to customer issues.
