They were very quick and neat. They covered my car in the drive with a tarp when they washed and painted, just in case. They were a nice crew who were timely, friendly and neat. They worked quickly. Dave Fine did the quote immediately after my request, and followed up quickly to my clarification questions. They were great to deal with because they were professional, quick and thorough. I would use again and they are highly recommended.

After using this company several times for interior painting, we hired them to paint the exterior of our house. Our plan was to paint the house the same color that it already was - no changes. I relied on Dave Fine to assist in selecting these colors, as I did not have the information. That was a BIG mistake! Even though the color was totally wrong, and there were items that had not been completed, we paid them in full, noting the ''small'' items that needed to be completed on the invoice. Second BIG mistake! Since last November, this company has been ignoring messages and making appointments and then not showing up. Finally, they sent us the most hateful letter, full of lies and very rude language. My husband and I have been in business for over 30 years and have over 100 employees, and have thankfully never had contact with a company like this. They are very SCARY! They are certainly not the company they once were. This is the first negative report I have ever written!

Upon calling this company for this estimate, an appointment was scheduled right away. I liked that they had someone to answer the telephone to schedule appointments. He arrived on time for the estimate. He seemed very knowledgable regarding the jobs that needed to be done. He e-mailed the estimate for the job the next day. We chose another highly rated company to do this job only because their estimate was $900 less.

Greg Rayne estimated this job. I wasn't sure what rooms I was going to have them paint, so he did an itemized quote for every room in the house. Greg was very helpful in telling me about certain colors needing primers/extra coats. The job took 1 1/2 days to complete. There was an extra charge for one room that needed 3 coats instead of 2. I was very pleased with the painted walls, but was rather upset to notice a large paint stain on the carpet. The crew thought they had cleaned it up, but I feel I should have been notified. Greg was very apologetic when I called him about it (he was not part of crew). He returned check things out and also corrected a bit of paint on some trim that I had noticed. We were having the carpets steam cleaned that day and Greg offered to pay them if they needed to do anything special to the stain. Unfortunately, the stain still remains after being cleaned twice. I'm satisfied that the effort was made, however & am not asking that anything else be done.

The job was broken up in what I called Phase I & Phase II, Phase one was the downstairs, stairwell stairs and landing (we have an open concept house, with vaulted ceilings, so big space). Phase II was the upstairs. Both Phases took 3 days to complete, with a team of 3 men. Their work is exceptional, always kept areas as neat & clean as possible, careful to cover everything when spraying the ceilings. Would definitely use them again !

I called and scheduled with a lady for someone to come look at the exterior of my house, and give me an estimate. No one ever came, and I never received the email the lady promised with an estimate. About 3 weeks after my original call, I called and left a message on their answering machine, and no one called me back. Finally about two weeks later, I called, spoke with the owner that answered the phone, and told him of my experience. I gave him my information, and he said someone would be out to give me an estimate. No one ever came, and I have not heard back from this company. I have decided to try someone else on Angies list as it is now 3 months later, and my house still needs painted.

They did a great job. I was really happy with the work.

While I have read many favorable comments about this company, I question the quality of their work if they can't keep appointments or follow up on why they couldn't.

You can tell your members it was an A+ overall job for price and everything else mentioned above. I would recommend them to anyone and I believe that is why they have so many pluses regarding their workmanship. Would I use them again? Certainly would. I hope you will put this in their file as a very deserving company.

We did have a little miscommunication, but we get it resolved. They were very pleasant and were willing to do the work in an economical fashion.

No problems at all. Responsive and professional. I have confidence in this company. My only concern was the price. It was out of range of other quotes and my budget.

Dave and his crew were on time, courteous , responsible, got the job done on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were the best service people we have had in our home in several years.

Very professional in the entire quote process. I can tell they did quality work. Problem was their price was right at double of the contractor who I went with. I could not justify the price difference after reviewing Angie's List. Had him quote at the end of July 2005 and the work was done in August of 2005. Just getting to the report now. I know it is important to give feed back.

As usual, they were neat and thorough and cleaned up all of their work areas every day. Bravo! The crew arrived at the time we requested (not too early) and worked quietly -- no loud radios or hollering, which we have experienced with another painters crew in the past. Dave himself is wonderfully helpful about color scheme and types of paint for our humid, shady lot and frame home.

Very professional--we immediately set up an appointment to meet. Quote was prompt, made with attention to details. Quote was fair--mid-range to other quotes I received. I went with another painter, but I would recommend Fine Painting to others.

Fine was on-time, got a good estimate, and very professional. Excellent quote, just not what we needed. Would recommend and consider for future work!

THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE EASY TO GET A HOLD OF AND THEY ARE REALLY GOOD AT GETTING EVERYTHING PERFECT WHICH I WAS IMPRESSED WITH.

Very professional. Little more expensive than anticipated and originally quoted. Nice work. Have to do some followup work but very understanding and responsive.

ONE OF HIS GUYS WAS JUST A LITTLE ON THE SLOPPY SIDE. THERE WAS SOME PAINT ON THE WINDOWS. BUT OVERALL, THEY WERE GOOD AND I WOULD HAVE THEM BACK AGAIN. I HAVE DEALT WITH THEM REPEATEDLY. THEY ARE GOOD GUYS, POLITE AND HELPFUL.
