Fine Painting was chosen because of neighbor's experience, reference's comments, and Angie's list rating. I needed a company that would take complete responsibility for doing a good job so I would not have to babysit the job. Greg Rayne coordinated the job for Fine Painting. They were able to shuffle some schedules to get the job done before bad weather came in. Overall job was excellent. It took two days of a two man crew to complete the project. Work was done with little cleanup required. Issues requiring follow-up were agreed upon with Greg with a commitment to complete in Spring, 2007.

They were very prompt with their estimate, it took us much longer to get estimates from other companies and that held up our decision to go with Fine Painting. Dave Fine worked with me on an estimate when I decided not to do a bathroom in addition to the stairwell. They came at 8:15 am and were done by 10:30 am. They were extremely efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased.

Did not power wash on the first trip. Received only one coat of paint. When I contacted the company, they sent a team to power wash the siding (several months later). That crew took paint left from earlier work, nearly 5 gallons, said paint crew would need it if I weren't home when they returned. Later, when one guy came back to give the trim its second coat, he had one quart of each color (two colors). He painted all my windows shut as well. There was paint left over. I think it physically impossible to paint a second coat of trim on a large house with the amount of paint he brought, when the first coat took more than 5 gallons. Again, it took several months just to get that done.

The estimator was very friendly and knowledgeable. Quote was received promptly. However, their price was double what we received from other contractors, so we chose to use a different contractor.

David was a very nice man. He had a very detailed and thorough estimate. I chose another painter who also was good and less expensive.

They said them would show up at 8 A.M. and take three days: they were here at 7:50 on Monday and finished around noon on Wednesday. What furniture I couldn't move, they moved to include the refrigerator, bathroom mirrors, towel racks and blinds. Most of this I was not expecting them to do. When finished painting, everything was put back in place and it appeared cleaner then they found it. We did not have one item damaged in any way. The level of detail was amazing, the crisp, straight paint lines between colors, the baseboard and the ceiling. To say the least, we were impressed.

We were very pleased with the job. The contractor worked with our schedule, doing the work while we were away, which was what we wanted. We were pleased with the work they did and also the way our house looked when we returned to it. It was clean and we wouldn't have known anyone had been there if the painting had not been done.

Work was completed over 4-day period. Workers punctual and job was completed in very satisfactory manner, including moving furniture.

Have used them before and very happy with quality of work. Will use them for this work when floors are finished in kitchen. Dave Fine is easy to work with and stands by his work.

The sales representative (Greg Rayne) was prompt and professional. The two-man crew (Greg C. and Moses) arrived as scheduled, on time, and completed high-quality work with minimum interruption and fuss. The only negative is that I believe that I was slightly overcharged for some extra/unexpected drywall repair.

The entire crew was courteous and professional, and very responsive to my questions. They seamed to work carefully and quickly to complete the job in a timely manner. They had to return to touchup some deck stain that had washed off from morning due. They responded within a week and were happy to comply to my request. Fine painting worked with me on scheduling the job as I had my roof replaced in between accepting their offer. The only complaint I have with the job is that I had requested a sample paint board be delivered before painting began which was did not happen. It took three attempts to get the paint color acceptable. We did finaly get the color right and it does look good. I would recommend and use Fine Painting for future projects.

Fine Painting had the best price, but the responsiveness was a bit slow. The quote got lost in the e-mail system and I had a hard time getting calls returned.

This company is very good. They do an excellent job of painting and do it in an efficient manner. I have had them to my house twice, so not only would I recommend them, I have hired them twice. They show up on time, stick to their quotes, and clean up after themselves. Their price is a bit higher than a lot of other companies, but I think that in this case, it is well worth it. You are getting what you pay for, and that is excellent service.

This is the second time we've used Fine Painting and once again they came through and did a stellar job. Their employees are prompt and courteous. We've recently moved into a new home, and I wish all of the people we've had coming by for various things were as great to deal with as the guys at Fine Painting.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY GOOD AND EVEN DID SOME INTERIOR CEILING REPAIR. THEIR PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

They really rushed me on the choice of paint color. I am not really happy with the paint choice (too light). They did a good job and the price was fair. There were some places that had to be repaired, therefore they had to go over them several times and one of the workers did smoke on my property.

Did everything that they were asked to do to my expectations. I felt like they can be trusted, and if an issue were to come up, they would make things right!

They were excellent. Did a great job, on time, conscientious, and professional. Would definitely hire them again.

SUPERVISOR GREG RAYNE AND HIS THREE PAINTERS WERE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. THE PAINTERS WERE HARD AND CAREFUL WORKERS. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. ONE OF THE PAINTERS DID A NICE JOB ON THE CARPENTRY. BECAUSE OF HAIL DAMAGE IN THE SPRING, WE DELAYED PAINTING UNTIL THE ROOF WAS REPLACED. GREG RAYNE SCHEDULED PAINTING AFTER THE ROOF WAS COMPLETED AND GUTTERS TAKEN DOWN, SO NEW GUTTERS COULD BE REPLACED QUICKLY. HE SENT US A VERY CLEAR AND COMPLETE ESTIMATE. HE WAS FLEXIBLE IN SCHEDULING TO MEET OUR NEEDS. THERE WAS GOOD COOPERATION AMONG THE PAINT CREW MEMBERS.

The team was very efficient, the price was good, and the work was done in two days, despite the weather. We had some issues with the dryvit painting and caulking along the brick, but they were addressed after contacting the manager, Greg. The only comment I have is that the service provided would be even better, if the manager made pains to coordinate better with the homeowner about meeting times, especially to confirm that the job done is to the owner's satisfaction. We were not notified that the job was done and had to contact the manager to find that out, and point out areas of deficiency. We also were unable to coordinate to meet in person and point out the areas. Some of the reasons being we are not home during the day. The manager appears to be very busy in the early hours, and he does not work after 5 pm.

The crew did a great job. One of the bedrooms had a very bright color on it and they covered it well with the new color. They worked within our time constraints too. They were all very polite. This is our second time using them.

Overall, a good job was done. This is the second time we have used them. The only complaint we have is with the estimator & "planner", Greg. He is slow to return calls & emails & unclear a lot of times. I constantly had to contact him regarding dates, colors, problems. He didn't pro-actively call us. The actual painters did a great job though.

I am totally satisfied with their work so far.

Company was excellent. On time, on schedule, neat and pleasant painters. Got wrong color on bathroom wall, and without any hassle or complaint immediately repainted with the right color. Definitely would use again.

While the estimate was slightly higher than the others I received, I chose Fine Painting for the honesty regarding the possibility of need for extra time. The work was done on time and it looks fabulous. The workers were courteous, thorough, and meticulous.
