Nothing was damaged. All went as expected. Dad has a workshop and a lot of VERY heavy and bulky machinery had to be moved. They got it all. It was very late when they arrived in Indy, so the unloading was not as organized as I might have liked. But part of the problem was that they were not all the way packed by the time the movers arrived.

They were on time, they were quick and they were careful. They were extremely courteous and I believe we paid them by the hour. They worked quickly and effectively and they were careful with our stuff. It was wonderful. If I moved again I would use them again.

Ed, Daniel, and Frank showed up on time, were professional and courteous, and worked efficiently and quickly. The service was excellent and I would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them highly to others.

Went great - it was a rainy day, and the movers took great care with my stuff - they were punctual and worked very hard - I would hire again in a minute.

Dean Emery arrived to give me a bid (my 4th moving bid) for moving. He was very thorough and precise and took notes of what needed to be done at my request. Daphne Emery emailed me a quote that was within our budget. Dean brought moving boxes, paper, and tape that next weekend. Movers arrived a bit late due to them working until 3:30 a.m. the morning of our move. But that did not deter anything from the move. Daphne called me early that morning to let me know they would be late. I appreciated that since I've waited for contractors to arrive on the time they told me. Due to some work I had to oversee at our new house, I was not able to completely pack some items on my own before they actually arrived to move us. The first day (Thursday) 5 movers arrived with 3 trucks and had our furniture and boxes that I had packed on my own loaded before 1:00 pm. After a short lunch break, they moved our furnishings into our new home and were done by 5:00. They arrived again Saturday morning and packed up what I couldn't get to. They only broke one glass which was stuck in the cabinet above the refrigerator. They were done by 3:00 that day. All men were extremely courteous and well mannered. I couldn't have asked for a better company to move us. We've had 2 other major moving companies over the years, but this is by far the best. Bar-None.

Dean and Braxton did outstanding work and were extremely careful not to damage the piece as well as the home.

They had a hourly rate. They worked very quickly. They were very careful. They were professional and courteous. I have used different movers before and they were by far the best.

This was an excellent move. The quote was for $365 which was for a 4 hour minimum ,at $95 per hour, with one extra stop, to drop off furniture at my brother's house and pick up a desk. The movers, 2 of them, were excellent. They were on time and they never stopped loading and unloading. They handled my furniture very carefully but they moved very quickly. They were very good at their job. They took apart my bed and my kitchen table easily and put them both back together again very well. I had no damage at all in this move. As important, they finished the entire job in the 4 hour minimum time frame so I didn't have to pay any extra money. This was the best move I've ever had and I've moved about several times. They were on time, professional, took care with my furniture and were very good at their job. I highly, highly recommend them.

They were relatively on time and followed through on their estimated cost. The movers were careful. Everything worked out well and we were pleased.

This company is amazing. Movers were wonderful. Daphne Emery gave me a lot of helpful advice for getting items ready. I was amazed at how much they were able to load into the POD. They approached it like putting a puzzle together. When there was more space, they helped get other items boxed and into the POD. Dave Emery and his brother-in-law Dan were pleasant and very reassuring. I have never seen anyone work so hard and so fast while joking and being very reassuring that everything would fit. My experience was exactly the way others on Angie's list described this company.

It went really well, we were happy with their work. We will definitely use them again in the future. They were very prompt and their fee was exactly what they said it would be. The two young men who came out and did the moving were very polite and pleasant. They took good care of our couch and wrapped it up.

Estimate for move was given over phone based on a flat hourly rate. Much more reasonable I thought than some companies which charge a flat rate based on weight. We had very few heavy items and knew that we'd not get the best deal based on weight due to minimums. Daphne estimated 6 hours (starting with leaving the warehouse, loading, traveling, unloading and returning to warehouse) which I knew would be incorrect due to the distance being traveled. Sent two guys and a large truck which was sufficient. Loading went slower than expected but were careful. Left Indy around 11 AM. Arrived to new house later than expected (they stopped for lunch on the way unexpectedly). Day was very hot and humid and move required lots of stairs. Guys worked hard with few breaks and were courteous and professional the entire time. Final time was 9.5 hours rather than 6 (excluding their stop for lunch) but I was prepared for that. No items have been found to have been damaged. I would use them again.

The people that worked were really nice, pleasant and good about doing what I asked. It was a huge move of stuff. They were very careful with stuff. I have a lot of antiques and they took good care with them. There were a few things broken and they asked how much they were worth and reimbursed the cost within a few days.

Movers showed up on time, early actually, and went right to work. The guys moved the items very quickly and carefully from the basement to the truck. They secured the boxes carefully and we headed over to the storage unit. The guys unloaded the boxes and stacked them carefully placing the plastic on the bottom to avoid moisture and placed the heavy boxes on the bottom and lighter ones on top. They had the paperwork and everything was as it was quoted.

It was awesome! These movers are the ones to go with! They are reasonably priced, quick and go above and beyond to make you happy. They arrived on time and finished within their time frame, carefully moving items and disassembling items when necessary for careful transport.

They are worth it because they did a very good job. They came on time. They were very helpful and offered to box up some things. They were very careful with our belongings.

Emerys Movers Inc. were very nice, caring, friendly, and worked really well with fragile items.

We are very happy with them. They brought boxes and held down the costs. They moved us into the garage for now and are returning to move us into the house when we have access.

One team (2 movers & 1 truck) showed up at the apartment right on time at 9AM and were done loading everything around 11AM. Another team (2 movers & 1 truck) showed up at our storage unit between 9AM and 10AM. They called us around 9AM to see if they could take a smaller truck and be there at 9AM as agreed upon, or go pick up a larger truck and get there a little later. We opted for the larger truck. When the 1st team was done loading items from the apartment, they joined the other team at the storage unit. They worked non-stop until the early afternoon until they had loaded everything. They then took a lunch break and arrived at our new house around 4PM. They first looked around to see the best way to unload the truck then protected our hardwood floors and stair railings, unhinged the front door and the door to the basement. They worked until about 9PM when they finished unloading everything. They were polite, friendly, careful and hard-working. When we changed our minds on where to place certain items of furniture, they happily moved it to their new location. We've had 4 teams of movers in the last 2 years and they are tied in first place with another team we hired (in a different state).

Amazing experience! The guys that performed this work did an outstanding job! They were on time, extremely courteous and helpful. They did nothing but work from the time they arrived until they left. Packed up our whole house in half a day. The next day showed up on time and packed 2 trucks. Drove the 2 hours to our new home and unloaded everything, put the beds together, then unloaded the rest into a storage unit. They were excellent the entire time. I will strongly recommend this company to anyone moving. We found them on Angie's List and used them because of the rating they have, and it paid off. They actually came in under budget as well, which we would have been happy to pay the estimate because they did such a fantastic job! Moving is a stressful time but these guys took all that stress away.

Perfect. They showed up right on time and we had everything loaded into the truck within 10 minutes. They were careful with everything and done in less than 2 hours. I had an old futon that would no longer fit in my apartment with the couch, and they took it down to the dumpster for me.

All three companies we selected from Angie's List for moving were great. Timely, close estimates, all three would be good choices. It was hard to pick. We'll have to see how we liked who we decided to go with.

I called Emery on a Friday and stated that I had purchased a piece of heavy furniture from an antique dealer and would like them to pick it up and deliver it to my home. Emery had indicated that it was not a problem and scheduled the pick up and delivery time that was convenient for me. They picked up the furniture exactly when they stated and delivered exactly when they stated so I couldn't be happier. I was asked how I had heard of them and I stated Angie's List. I was quoted a price that included an Angie's List discount (however, I don't know what the discount was). Although their price was a little high, the overall experience was excellent.

Ed, Keith and Rick were great guys, very friendly, and patient. The move went very smooth and efficient. There was very little if any down time. The guys were constantly moving. All items seemed to be packed very safely. The floors at both homes were protected during all the foot traffic. There were no nicks or scrapes at either home after moving all the items. One slight nick in one piece of furniture. Took great care to move items carefully and to get everything in the correct location to avoid secondary moves. Great from beginning to end.

We were limited on time with the fright elevator and they managed their time wisely.
