We were very pleased with the whole process. It was easy to get a hold of the company on the phone and they were great to work with in person as well. They showed up on time and got the job done very efficiently. Nothing was damaged; they were very professional.

Everything turned out very well. They completed the move in 1 day. They even arrived before we did in Kentucky. The move was even $100 less than the original quote.

Daphne is so great to work with and her husband was very prompt in giving us the quote. They delivered packing materials promptly and credited me back for those I did not use. They were so flexible as our move date changed several times. I ended up needing storage for a few weeks and that was affordable as well. They moved a piano without an issue. Very professional and prompt. We had 4-5 men each move leg. Would use them again in a heart beat.

Daphne was a pleasure to talk with and very professional. She offered me the Angie's List discount without prompting. She penciled me in till I was able to let her know when the truck would arrive.Compared to other companies I had called, the price was beyond reasonable; very affordable. The two men assigned to help me load the truck were early, they were very professional and worked very hard to get my things loaded on the truck as quickly as possible. They were both pleasant and polite. Although the truck came with a dolly, the guys came prepared with their own dolly. It took them only 2 hours and 15 minutes and they only took a short break. They helped the truck driver pack everything tightly into the truck. I would definitely use them again.

They did a good job. They were quick with the move and careful with our belongings. They were a few minutes late to the appointment, but apologized and got straight to work. They were available and nice to deal with; we would use them again.

The movers were very prompt and professional. The contact person at the company was courteous and professional and very prompt in getting back to me. The company traveled to my mother's house to pack up and load the piano and chair. They dropped off the chair at my in-laws' home and then piano at my house. They were careful to put down drop clothes on the carpet before they brought in the piano and positioned it where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged in any way; I am pleased with their work.

I have used this company twice before and they have always been great. I actually requested the same men that moved me two years ago since they did such a good job. Like expected, this move went great. I would highly recommend this company!

They were very professional, and their charges were reasonable. They gave a good estimate and lots of tips on packing. By the way, nothing they packed was damaged in the least. They arrived on time, although one of their trucks was out of service so they had to make two trips back and forth from one house to the other (they gave us a discount for the extra time for the extra trip). They were very efficient about packing their truck. They were courteous and professional, even though it turned out to be a 12-hour day. They moved several heavy things up two flights of stairs at the new home and they moved a piano. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They showed up on time, did what they promised, took good care of my belongings. We had to move to a temporary rental before our final home was ready. They did a fabulous job. I was worried because they were moving everything I owned but they did what they promised. They filled and I mean FILLED two 30' trucks. They worked hard and fast w/out damaging my belongings. They laid down a protective barrier on all the floors and made sure everything was put in the proper room. A+++

It was a snowy day. They cleared a path to move the piano from the house to their truck. At my son's house they shoveled a path to get it in without getting the wheels on the cart wet. They did a superior job at both ends of the move. They were running a bit ahead of schedule which was great for all of us. They were very careful with our piano. They were very courteous - as was Daphne when I arranged the move. In addition, they mentioned to my son that they smelled natural gas outside his garage. There was indeed a gas leak which was fixed later that day. Ed & Rick are my heros - they may have saved my son's life by speaking up about the possible gas leak.

It was fantastic. They were very quick and efficient. They showed up earlier than scheduled, and called to let me know that they would be early. They got all of the work done within the 3 hour span so it didn't cost me any extra money. They were also very friendly.

Daphne Emery was very helpful in coordinating the move. I moved from Downtown Indianapolis from a 4 story condo to the winding roads of Brown Co. The move happened on a very snowy cold day. The movers were fast and very helpful in helping me not only move, but placement of all my belongings once we made it to Nashville. The weather added an extra challange to the move, but Emery Movers did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them!

I used Emery's Moving to pick up and store my furniture when I moved in April, 2010. When I moved, they were great. They arrivewd on time, the movers were great. They moved me into my apartment and then took the rest of my furniture into their storage facility and I paid them on a monthly basis ($158.95) and I thought that was reasonable. The total cost of my move was about $1067.00. When, I was ready to move back into another house, I called them back up and scheduled my move. I was told by the owner that the move back would most likely be less because everything would already be all in one place and all they had to do is load it back up and then unload it into my new house. Now, I only moved one block and two houses from my old house. So, I didn't move too far away. The apartment they moved me out of was the same apartment they moved me into and I didn't acquire any more furniture other than a washer and dryer. When, I was presented with the bill at the end of the day, it was $1202.34! After I was told that it would be lower, I was very surprised. I called the owner and inquired and all I was told was that, the movers probably took more time or I wasn't understanding sometig right. Then, she told me that I would be getting the $158.95 back for November since I already paid that. Well, after I didn't receieve it, I called to inquire about it. Then, she told me that she was wrong about that too and that after checking that I wouldn't be getting that either. So, I really feel like I was really overcharged on the back end of this move. How can it cost $1067 to move me out and then over $300 more to move me back in to another place that's almost in the same spot? It can't be the house because it's almost the same size and the movers still had a second story and no furniture went into a basement. Even though my new house has a basement, they said my existing furniture wouldn't fit. Oh, about the washer and dryer, they even sat it down so the doors won't shut! What a pain! So, in summary, I thought in the beginning these guys were great and I was telling all my friends about them. Now, I'm telling a much different story. I'm so disappointed. They say their sorry I'm confused. I'm sorry they don't make things right with their customers when they make a deal. I could have been a customer for life. I have other things in another storage company that I was planning to move to them. They just lost me as a customer. I hope others who do business with this company do not have the same experience as me.

A++. They were hard working and very professional. We have a lot of art work and other valuables and everything was packed and moved with great care.

This was smooth and painless. They responded to all phone calls, were available on short notice, and the men who did the actual moving were efficient, professional and personable. The price seemed better than I expected, so I canceled other pending estimates and moved forward. I'm glad I did.

They did a great job. They came in on a Thursday, held our furniture in a truck, and moved it in on a Saturday. They were quick and professional and were able to meet our scheduling needs.

The movers (3 men) arrived about 15 minutes early and immediately got to work. They had me give them a quick rundown on what we were moving and they got to work. They wrapped and carefully arranged all of our furniture on the truck. When we arrived at our new home they asked me to give them some quick instructions on where things went and they started unpacking. They were not able to park in our drive since the concrete was new so they had to carry things up the drive, then up the stairs on the porch. They had to carry some extremely heavy bedroom furniture upstairs (with a bend in the stairs) and they managed to get all of it up the stairs without a scratch. They took a very short lunch and got back to work. They reassembled all of the bedroom furniture and my desk in the office. It ended up taking longer than originally estimated (probably due to all the assembly) so the price was higher than expected but I was very pleased with the experience.

We had a great experience with this company. They were very nice and didn't damage anything. Their price ended up being a little less than originally estimated and we would definitely use them again. We would highly recomend them.

Could not have gone any better! Three very nice men, worked hard all day. They knew what they were doing, took care with all our items in loading and unloading.. They were kind, respectful, and helped to make what was a very stressful day for all of us go as smooth as possible! I would highly recommend Emery Movers and would use them again if the need arise for us or any of our friends or family.

The guys work hard and Daphne is great to work with. I have used them about 3 other times in the past and reccommend them to everyone. I think you get a lot for your money with them and will use them again if we ever need to move again!

Great! The guys showed up a few minutes early and did a wonderful job, being very careful with the piano on both ends of the move. They are extremely reasonable in price and Daphne, in the office, was easy to work with and line up a time!

I recently moved from an apartment into a house, and had Rick and Shawn from Emery's out to move my stuff. If took them less time than I thought it would (but longer than the estimate) for the entire move and both men were very professional and very good at what they do. Somehow they managed to move some massive pieces of furniture up a very tiny stairwell with no damage to the furniture or the walls. These guys did an amazing job!!

I could not be happier with the move. I hired 4 guys due to all the furniture we needed to move. They arrived on time, were very respectful of our property, worked hard (14 hours), and took excellent care of the furniture and house. It was a long hard day, with minimal breaks and no complaining, bad language, etc. Wonderful movers!!!

Making an appointment was extremely easy. Called, confirmed pricing and time for the move. Two movers showed up, They showed up on time and the move was completed very carefully. The whole experience was very positive. The price was extremely reasonable for the move, compared to other quotes I received. I have used other moving companies in the past, but never had as fast and good service as I received from Emery's. I called them because of the positive ratings on Angie's List. My family and I will use Emery's from now on for any moving needs.
