Denny, Daniel and Chad moved my full bed mattresses, desk and 11 x 7 foot HO Train table with transformer, lights and track attached. The move was from one House to another 3 miles away. They then attached the legs to the Train Table and set it upright. They were very careful with the HO Train table. They were careful not to let it bow.... etc, because of the track and lights attached. They did a great job of protecting the flooring and walls in the house. Denny, Daniel and Chad are professional, clean, pleasant, careful, and hard workers. I will use Emery again!!!

They were very slow people. They did not hustle.Two of the men were skinny - not the muscle that you need to move big, heavy furniture; one was too old and too skinny to be moving anything. Very, very, slow - and I was paying by the hour!

They gave us an estimate of approximately $120 an hour for a truck and free move. First of all we were impressed with the feedback what people had given about them on Angie’s list and their phone was always answered correctly. They were very thorough at answering our questions. They were very clear about what their charges were and what they thought we would need to get the job done. So they made me feel comfortable whether to deliver the service according to what we’d discussed. We’ll see how it goes after the move. They were great with responsiveness.

nothing was broken, damaged, or scratched in any way. The movers were efficient, and didn't waste time getting mom's furniture moved. The movers (3) were SO pleasant, and SO professional. Most important to me, they were SO kind and respectful to my Mom. This was a diffiicult day for her emotiionally, and they really made it easier for her. Even though I was really "running things" she WAS the one paying for it, and they spoke to her so kindly, and they all shook her hand and thanked her before they left. Cutest of all, I came back to the old apartment from putting things away at the new apartment, and my mom was "missing". I asked 2 of the movers where she was, and they told me the third mover had WALKED HER OVER to the new apartment (which trust me would take the patience of a saint!) becuase she wanted to go. So cute!

I called well in advance to schedule the moving. They showed up on time and packed all of our heavy items to move. They were extremely careful. I would definitely use them again. It was nice to just move all the small items and leave the big stuff to them.

The experience was good! This was my second time using Emery's. Three men arrived promptly to load the truck and transport my belongings to my new house. Everything arrived safely and without noticeable damage. They worked quickly and efficiently. I had to purchase their service with a four-hour minimum, and I didn't feel like they took advantage of my time. They actually finished within 4 hours and asked if there was anything else I needed them to do while they were still "on the clock." I thought the price was fair and I felt comfortable with them handling my belongings and being in my home. I would use them again.

Emerys movers did a fantastic job! They were very upfront with their fees and services, which I really enjoyed. They did their job well and didn't try to haggle with me about the price or time it would take to complete the task. Overall I found them to be very fair and efficient.

I was very pleased with Emery's, from start to finish. Mr. Emery arrived right on time to provide an estimate, and his three men and truck were also punctual. I cannot say enough good things about the crew and its professionalism, friendliness and with the care that they treated our belongings. One piece was exceedingly heavy and was a challenge that they met wit flying colors. The cost for the move came out to less than the estimate. How often does that happen?

OK. Not too many scrapes and scratches on the furniture. I had used them a couple/3 times in the past. This time it seemed to cost me nearly twice as much for less "stuff", even with a coupon. Plus it took longer.

This is third time we have used them - they always do a great job. Regardless of the "company" you select, it is about the individuals that show up to do the work, and we have consistently had good people from Emery. They go the extra mile and care about doing a good job. Very pleased.

I had a local move that had to be done between Christmas and New Year's. Daphne gave me a very good price and was able to get a date that worked for me. However, what impressed me is when I had to change the date last minute over the holiday weekend. I thought for sure I would not be able to get in touch with her for days (and of course was very stressed about the whole thing!) but I simply sent an e-mail and within a half hour the whole thing was rescheduled. The movers were very careful and used furniture pads, which I appreciated - many movers say they will use them and then do not. They also gave me some last-minute packing suggestions, which significantly reduced the remaining items I was planning to take in my car.

Movers called to tell us they would be about an hour late due to one of their trucks not starting and needing to rent another one. They sent an extra person to help speed things up at no extra cost. Movers were careful and considerate with our items. Unfortunately, at the end of a long day, as one of the workers was re-attaching a refrigerator door that he removed, he dropped it and damaged it. He called the company to let them know. They promptly called me and set up an appointment to inspect the damage. They came when they said they would, they ordered a new door, but unfortunately the door still has not been replaced due to being backordered two times. It seems as though there should be more than one source for this door but they don't seem to be interested in pursuing that. I can't give them as high as a grade as I think the laborers deserve due to the owners lack of effort to get a new door.

The company sent good strong people who moved everything in record time. The company also sent one extra person for good measure. Basically I was happy that the movers were trying to make the move as fast as to keep my cost low. Very polite and courteous movers.

Movers showed up right on time. They were very professional. Job was finished in under 30 minutes.

I was very pleased with them. They were very conscientious and nice. They are a small company, so the owners were involved. They personally came out and did an estimate. They physically saw the items that were going to be packed and they did a good job.

Move was fine they did as advertised.

Found off of Angie's List. Offering a discount. Called and scheduled 2 weeks in advance. We lived downtown Indianapolis in an apartment. Everything went really smoothly - even though it was a really tough moving situation. No freight elevator and time-sensitive parking. Jock, Deshawn, and Clarence were very funny and still very professional. We got it all done in about 3 hours.

I had high hopes for this company. The initial estimate and communication over the phone was excellent!! I hired them to move the furniture and several boxes from my 2 bedroom apartment to my new apartment 3 miles down the road. They sent 3 people since the new apartment was on the third floor. They showed up on time and walked through the apartment with me to discuss what I needed done. Almost immediately, the complaining started. They were upset with how much stuff I had, that some of the stuff was heavy, that I was moving to a third floor apartment, etc. There were 3 guys there but only 2 of them loaded up my stuff at my old apartment. I don't know what the 3rd guy was doing but every time I saw him, he was sitting in the truck. Apparently he was only there to help at the new apartment. After about an hour or so of work, they all took a 20-30 minute break (on the clock I might add). I had planned for them to only take about 4 hours to complete the entire move (since this has historically been how long previous movers have always taken to move me) however, it took 3 hours for them to just load up the initial apartment! I was tired of listening to them complain so didn't even make them take some of the boxes. When they finally showed up to the new apartment (only 2-3 miles away), the complaining started again with me being on the third floor (this was not new information as it was included in the estimate). They complained the ENTIRE time they were bringing things up the stairs. They scratched my sister's dresser and were taking forever to complete this move. Eventually, I just wanted this done so stopped having them put the boxes and furniture in the correct rooms and just had them leave everything in the living room. With the amount of breaks they took, the unprofessional complaining, and their terrible attitude and slow pace it took them 5 hours to complete the move plus the hour of travel time I was charged. This ended up costing me more than I had ever paid for prior companies, even with the Angie's List discount and coupons! I will NEVER use this company again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone!

We found this company on Angie's List and have used them before, but they do a great job. They were right on time and did everything right. They were competitively priced.

We have actually used them before. They showed up on time. They packed up all of our belongings and secured them safely in their truck. They are very professional and got the work done quickly. We didn't have any problems.

GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! My sister is an interior designer (out-of-state) and was able to get me an amazing deal on some furniture, the only pickle was, those companies would not deliver to a residence. I had to find a local company who would accept the freight. I got a hold of Daphne from Emery's Movers and she made everything extremely easy for me. She is such a friendly woman! Even though the manufacturers of the couch delivered it a few weeks behind schedule, Daphne was still able to coordinate everything and never sounded like she was inconvenienced! It really put me as ease! When my couch was delivered to her loading dock, I picked it up with a truck and brought it to my house --- she didn't charge me at all for that!! Most companies would've charged me to accept the freight, but she didn't! A few more weeks went by and my bedroom furniture was delivered to Emery's by the manufacturer and once again Daphne was able to accept the freight. This shipment was a larger load and more sensitive so I thought it'd be best if Emery's delivered it to my house! We schedule a delivery date... Jeremy and Sean arrived on the morning we schedule and we very friendly. They offered to move the furniture to the rooms required and seemed like they actually cared about my furniture! They were in and out within 30-45 minutes! Good job, guys! Thanks Emery's!

Our moving situation was a bit complicated since our new home wasn't ready, so we ended up using Emery's Movers twice within a week's time. They took excellent care of all our belongings and worked efficiently. I have used other movers in the past and this by far was the best experience we've had. Every member of their team was professional courteous and made our move much easier. Thank you!

It was a really good experience. Their customer service stands out as being exceptional. The reception was very helpful with directing me on how to prepare for the move and giving advice about which service would be best for me. I was really impressed that she let me know that I could combine services and save money.

They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them.
