Description of Work: We purchased 2 coupons from Angie's list for insulation from Bone Dry interiors. Bone Dry then added insulation to two attics of our tri level home. They added a foof vent for a bathroom fan and four vents in the soffit to aid air circulation. Covers were placed over our down lights in the kitchen area to prevent heat loss in the winter and cool air in the summer. A small wall was placed around the pull down stairs in the in the attic. We already had an insulation blanket to place over this box to prevent heat loss in the winter. The extra soffit vents were supposed to be added in the attic above the kitchen where we have had a problem with an ice dam in bad winters. Bone Dry had also put our roof on and added the vent at the top of both rooves for ventilation. The Bone Dry manager putting this together had suggested the extra vents saying it might help with the ice formation. When the three workmen came, they put them in the upper attic not even connected to the area in question. When we told them they had put them in the wrong attic, they said they wouldn't look good near the front door. They did put in one next to the front door(not happily. We tried to talk to the manager, but just gave up after a time. We are happy with the insulation and feel that it has helped keep the house cooler this summer. We will keep and eye on the heat situation this winter. The two coupons were $179 each and Bone Dry charged $2095.00 making it a total of $2453.00.

Description of Work: He came out for estimate, and said it would be a 'little more' $1400.00 is not a little more. I sent him away and got 2 other estimates for 250.00 each. Hired one of them and they did a good job I just lost my125.00 on this big deal. i guess they just thought I was too dumb to know that their bid was way out of line.

Description of Work: The quality of the work was good. They paid attention to detail. There was a little bit of a language barrier. They cleaned up really well but I didn't want some decorative nails thrown away and I thought he understoond but evidently didn't. That was the only thing that really didn't go as planned. I used the coupon for $125.00 for painting which is a good deal. They would have been more expensive than the last painters I used if I would have hired them at their regular price.

Description of Work: There was a strip of fascia that came loose during a recent storm and Scott came out to check it. He went back to his truck and got a ladder and reattached the strip and checked our roof for any concerns that needed attention. There was no charge. This was the fifth time we have called on Bone Dry for repairs and have been totally pleased with all the work done. We will certainly remember them for future work.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal to have insulation installed and within 24 hours Bob called to set up an appointment. I was out of state and uncomfortable setting up an appointment for my husband, so I told him I would have my husband call him back the following week. The appointment was set and we were surprised to find out that our insulation was up to code and even exceeded it, so there was no need to go any further. What a surprise to find an honest businessman, and how refreshing!! I will refer this company to family and friends.

Description of Work: I had vinyl siding installed on 12/30/2009. A few days later, I noticed nail pops that were occuring on my inside walls from the siding job. Company came out and repaired. A few months later (May/June 2010), I noticed warping occuring at the trim of my house where it meets up with the wood and new vinyl siding all around my house. Company came out and said the job wasn't completed correctly. I also noticed that the vinyl was warping on my outside walls. Both of these issues are very noticeable from the streetside in viewing my house. In June a manager came out and said that he would fix the siding problems at the top of a couple of walls at the undersill mold and the bowed out j channel. However, this problem is not just occuring on a couple of walls it involves all around my house which includes multiple walls. Additionally company is offering NOT to correct the warping problem that is occuring. They indicate that it is due to the framing of my house. I had siding for 17 yrs and never experienced warping before this installation job. Even if this was a possibility that this would occur, they should have advised me of this while they were installing the vinyl on my house house (or before when they providing a quote). I believe the nailing job was not completed correctly while putting the siding on my house. The company is trying to get out of providing quality siding and installation job.

Description of Work: I've used Bone Dry for chimney work, and they did an outstanding job, and were comparable to other quotes. So, when exterior paint and exterior siding was in need of repair, we got 4 estimates. Unfortunately, Bone Dry was higher than the price of the other estimates, with very similar work being performed. $11,870 was the estimate we got from Bone Dry, and the other 3 quotes all came in around $7,500-$8,800. We just couldn't justify the extra $4,000, despite knowing their reputation, and their great work on the previous project that they completed. They are quick to respond, very professional and quality is great. Just too highly priced for this project.

My husband has been in the insurance claims business for 15 years and was impressed with Bone Dry's responsiveness and high quality work. He's seen a lot of shoddy work over the years; Bone Dry's work was excellent.
