We called and scheduled a spring replacement for our garage door. Mr. Shepard was on time and replaced the spring and cables on our garage door. He was so professional, knowledgeable and very polite and pleasant to talk with. I highly recommend him.

Shepherd is a very nice gentleman and he was able to help me out right away. He identified the slider's teeth had grinded down on the opener's track. He had a replacement on the truck and made the fix in about 20 minutes. He also greased everything. Great service. 27 part and 85 labor.

He found broken control wires, rewired the electronic eye sensor on the left side of the door, and neatly tucked the wiring up out of the way of the chain drive so it would not get tangled in it again. We are very happy with the work and would hire again.

On Friday morning my garage door wouldn't open.  One of the springs was broken.  I called a different company, who couldn't come out until evening; however, my car was in the garage and I needed to get to work, so they referred me to Shepherd's.  I called and explained the issue.  He came out in about an hour.  He recommended replacing both springs, since they were both quite old.  The whole job was completed in 15-20 minutes.  He also lubed the garage door track.  He was very professional and pleasant, and the process was as smooth as I could have hoped for.  I will contact Shepherd's again if I need any work done on my garage door.

I came home late the previous night and my garage door would not lift.  I left my car in the driveway overnight and phoned the next day.  I was asked if it could wait until Monday, but leaving my car parked in the driveway, left it unsecure.  Shannon came within an hour or two and replaced the spring on my automatic garage door.  He told me it would take twenty minutes to replace and the timing was exactly twenty minutes.  He was very efficient and I appreciated the excellent service.

I contacted Sheperds Garage door over the weekend regarding my broken spring door.  He promised me he would come out first thing Monday morning and have it completed by 8 am in order for me to make my appointment.  He was extremely prompt, arriving a few minutes early.  Initially I only asked him to replace one spring, but decided to replace both of them.   Even with the extra spring, he still finished the job early.
I contacted 3 other companies for a quote.  Shepereds was by far the best value!!!

Did a better job than the Speedway Inspector required.

Shannon came out to give us an estimate on both repairing the garage door and replacing it. We decided to replace it. He ordered the door and called within a week to set up the installation. He said the job would take about 2 hours and he was exactly correct. The old door was removed, the new door installed, and when he checked to make sure the door was working properly, found that the opener pad next to the back door was not working correctly. He replaced it, at no extra charge. He cleaned up after himself and the door looks great! We will continue to use Shepherd's Garage Doors for all services. He's a great individual. Prompt, personable, and very professional.

We called Shepherd's Garage Doors on Saturday morning because the spring on our garage door broke.  Shannon from Shepherd's Garage Doors showed up Monday morning at 8:15am to fix it and had it done by 9:00am.  It was a difficult job because it's a smaller opening with a tight work space.  Additionally, all the bolts he had to remove were stripped.  He did high quality work with a great attitude.
His response time was excellent, the service was great, and he was very professional and personable.  We would definitely recommend Shepherd's Garage Doors Inc.

Called as all of my remote openers (one in each car and the keypad outside) would only work about 50% of the time the past few months.  He helped troubleshoot the problem over the phone as he suspected a possible problem was an interfering frequency of another wireless device within our house.  We had recently installed a remote control ceiling fan and a new wifi router at about the same time we noticed the problems with all of our openers.  Shannon had me cut power to each of these to determine if they were a source of interference.  We determined this was not the source of the problem and he then helped me reprogram the opener to a new frequency over the phone to see if that would fix my problem, which it did not. 
After helping me troubleshoot over the phone and eliminating possible sources of the problem, he then scheduled an appointment to swap out the circuit board.  He was out to the house the next day and my opener works great now.

Called Shannon to do some more repairs and adjustments on an aging door and opener but after discussions and my reservations on the life expectancy of the older door, I elected to have him do a complete replacement of the door and opener. He showed up quickly for the original repair visit and right on time for the scheduled installation three days later. The install was done in less that 4 hours including a complete and thorough clean-up along an overview of the new equipment and it's operation. The seal of the new door is better than any I've had since the home was built in 1973. I didn't feel pressured to buy the new door as Shannon was more than willing to do repairs if I preferred and offered viable options to keep the old one limping and clanking along. I didn?t take the time to shop for prices as I?ve always felt his rates were reasonable for past service calls. This was one of my best experiences with any kind of contractor in recent years.

Everything went well. The new seals helped keep out the cold air of winter. The cables were beginning to fray and needed to be replaced. We have used this company several times and have always been happy with their work.
