They were available very quickly. I thought they were really good. The guy was very quick.

We called around 1030-11 am. Thinking we needed to plan on making an appt for within next 2 weeks. They were at our house at 1:30 pm. Gave us an estimate and got straight to work. Everything done by 3:30 pm and working well. We def will be using them in the future.

This was my second time to use North Side Plumbing in the past few years. As was true on the first occasion, this time all work was completed properly and quickly. In the past, I had used other plumbing companies for repairs, but was never was fully satisfied with the work until I started using North Side Plumbing. They "seem" to cost a little more, but I don't have a valid comparison of cost for the exact same work to state that with certainty. However, their plumbers get the work done quickly and it is done right the first time, so it is well worth the extra cost (if any). I have used them twice now, and in both cases the plumber they sent out was very skilled, professional, and seemed to get things done in less time than I expected. The plumber actually made two visits. On the first visit he found that the 24 year old kitchen faucet was not repairable. He could have had someone run out a faucet to him, but I wanted to shop around and buy my own faucet. Also he did not have the part required to replace the diverter on the 24 year old bathroom shower faucet. He scheduled a second visit to complete the repairs - I would supply the kitchen faucet and he would order the diverter. (They only charged the service call fee for the first visit.) While working on planned repairs, the plumber noticed two problems I was not aware of. 1) The kitchen sink is on an outside wall. Under the sink, a pipe goes through the wall to supply an outside hose faucet. Whenever I opened the cabinet doors under the sink in the winter, I had noticed that there seemed to be unusually cold air under there, but never knew why. I figured it was just because it was on an outside wall. I didn't mention this to the plumber while he was there because I had forgotten about it. While he was replacing the kitchen faucet, he felt the cold air and saw that there was no caulking around the pipe that goes through the wall. He caulked it, which took care of the problem. 2) He also noticed the lack of caulking around the bathroom tub faucet when he was replacing the shower diverter. There was a slight space between the faucet and the drywall. He caulked it, which will prevent the possibility of water getting behind the faucet during a shower and seeping into the drywall. By observing these two problems and applying a simple, inexpensive fix (caulk), he prevented future problems (potential of a frozen pipe under the kitchen sink, and potential for water damage to the drywall behind the bathroom tub faucet. I will continue to use North Side Plumbing whenever I need plumbing repairs. I have confidence that they will fix problems correctly the first time.

Received quote on Monday and they installed on Thursday. Upgraded from 40gal to 50gal hot water heater. They installed a new shut off (ball) valve. Plumbing was crimped. Looks professional and clean. Technician did put a small scratch on washer that is right next to water heater. Not extremly noticeable though. Price was high.

The experience was very good and I would highly recommend them. They are not the cheapest but they do the best work. They were good. I am using them again today.

Called as soon as they opened on Monday morning with a main drain that was plugged. Could not use the kitchen or laundry, but the bathrooms were available. Plumber arrived at 10, was done by 11:20, had to snake the drain a few times to the full length of his 50' snake. There were two pretty solid blockages. The drain does not have much fall over the length of it. I was glad I hadn't tried to do the job myself.

Called about 1-week prior to make appointment at a time when I could be home. Plumber (Dave) was a little late due to previous call, but did arrive within an hour of appointment. Dave was very courteous and professional - left the area cleaned up and took the unit with him. Charged for service call and only 3/4-hour labor, plus miscellaneous copper fittings required. Very satisfied with service provided and amount charged.

Our water heating started leaking. The plumber came around 11:20 and was done by 12:50. The total expense for a new water heater and installation was $850.00. I'm not sure if this is expensive or not, but it felt pretty salty. Everything else was fantastic. The plumber was very professional and did a great job!

The folks at North Side are always very professional. They give you a courtesy call to let you know when the plumber is on the way. The work is completed in a timely fashion - no dragging it out to make more money. They let you know of any problems you can expect in the future or any things you might want to consider having done soon, but they are not pushy or trying to sell something. They give honest estimates that are pretty close to the mark. And they are willing to answer your questions while they work.

I had already taken apart the sink down to the copper wires. The plumber changed the valves and asked if I wanted him to cut a hole in the wall to check the pipes. I had twisted part of the visible pipes as I tried to work on it. He also put on a specific valve so that I would more than likely not have to go much farther than the valve to fix any problems

Excellent, of course it seemed a bit high, but what doesn't anymore?? I want the "old day" prices and let's face it those days are LONG over!

They were very nice and professional but they were extremely high. They were twice the cost of what it eventually took to get the job done. They have been around for a long time and they do their own thing. They are very competent and well respected people. I probably wouldn't bother getting another bid from them because I know they will be high.

They did a nice job. They were very quick and very reasonable. They were prompt and quick. They got it done really nicely.

It went very well. Dave was on time for the estimate appointment and then to do the work. They were professional and left the work area in good condition and clean. I was very pleased with their work.

We've used them quite a few times and they have always been reliable. Their prices are fairly reasonable and they are right in line with everybody else.

When I commented that I thought the estimate was high considering that I would have to hire someone else to finish the job, their response was that they had plenty of work and if I could find someone to do it cheaper, perhaps I should do that.

It was excellent in all regards. They told us a couple of places in town to buy the sink and everything worked perfectly.

Had to wait a day as no one available in my area of town on day I called. Difficult with 2 adults and this the only toilet. Plumber was nice and friendly. Not sure new kit installed speeded up tank filling. New kit seemed to experience same problem of not shutting completely off when tank supposedly reaches fill line/level, but was adjusted. Will see if there is a reduction in water usage on bill as toilet was supposedly running all the time. Plumber discussed several times replacing toilet with new model for around $500.00. Also gave tips about breaking up large feces before flushing. He made several extra trips up and down 14 steps inside and 8 steps outside when he forgot items of chose wrong items. Not sure if this was age-related or to increase charges due to time spent on call. Toilet has worked well so far, but we have been traveling most of the time since repair was completed. Overall, satisfied with this job.

The guys were prompt. Matt showed up exactly when he said he would in an immaculately maintained truck. He did exactly as I asked -- basically he gave me a "worst case scenario" quote so I could get a loan for all the work that would be necessary (since the home was unoccupied for so long, we had no idea what might be needed). He took into account all contingencies. Once we tallied up all the work done, we came in about $1000 lower than the original bid. The price was fair, the work was great, and the company was very easy to work with. Would definitely use these guys again.

It was expensive and we were going to get a second quote. When I called them they came right out and they kept their appointment. They were on time. They were supposed to give us the break-up of everything in writing, but we didn?t get that. We wanted to know why the quote was $900 and asked them to show us where the cost was. We haven?t heard from them since. The person who came out was really nice, kind, and helpful. Everything was fine initially, but the follow-up left a lot to be desired. We never contacted them after that. I still can?t say anything bad about them because they didn?t do the actual work.

The installer in removing the previous sink accidently removed a small part of the countertop. He brought it to our attention immediately and said he had contacted his office and a repair person would be sent out at their expense. The repair was made and the installer returned and installed the sink. The repair was very well done and cannot be seen as most of it was covered by the "lip" around the sink. All in all a very professional handling of a problem. My wife and I were very pleased with their installation of our new sink. It looks beautiful.

Tracked down the problem and replaced circulating pump on boiler for home heating that another company was unable to do. The serviceman doing the work was courteous, experienced and knowledgeable. He explained the salutation and kept me informed of the progress.

They explained exactly what they were doing every step of the way. They helped move things that may have gotten messy. (Eel jobs are messy...) They explained how far the drain clog was (135 feet). We also learned that ''flushable'' kids wipes aren't really flushable for homes that have cast iron or clay sewer lines (most homes over 30 years old).
