Fadely Home Design

Owner Mark Fidely is a gentleman, with a courteous no-pressure presentation. His prices were extremely reasonable. The staff/sub-contractors he used for brick work, wood molding, and painting were experts, according to my friend who is a retired construction manager and was present during installation of some windows. After almost three months, all windows and related work are fine. I will use the company again to replace my front door and highlights.

Mark and his team were always on time, very professional, very courteous and they did an amazing job. We absolutely love our new window! I will definitely be contacting this company in the future for any home improvement jobs they handle.

We replaced original wood windows with Pella Architectural series windows with shades between the glass. Love the windows. Loved the experience. I had Mark quote another project a couple years ago and we went with someone else. We had a bad experience. This time, we chose Mark and we don't regret our decision. The Pella windows are more costly, but we are very happy with them. The process with Mark and his crew was great....on time and the work was down well. Had a couple of items come up, as you do with any job, but Mark handled them well and everything is complete and fine. Mark also recommend a guy for the interior stain...he was terrific, as well.

Mr. Fadely was prompt to respond to my request for the cost to replace the sliding doors that provide access to an outside deck area. We had received three other quotes for the same job and Fadely Home Design's proposal looked the best. Timing and all worked out well for us. The doors were received on time and the installation crew arrived at the time they said they would. Professional and excellent would be the words I would use to describe the work performed at our house. In fact, the craftsman that replaced the aluminum trim around our new patio doors is a genius at cutting, forming and installing the pieces required. We are pleased.

It met or exceeded all expectations. Mark was great to work with and the installation crew was very professional. Work area was always left very clean over the course of the three day project including the prepping and painting of the new door. Mark was originally referred by a friend but after having him handle this project, I can understand his A rating on Angie's List.

They arrived on time as planned. The work was done quickly and well. They were careful about the plantings around the house. The installers cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with their work. We got a quote to finish the job next year when we are able to pay for the remainder of the siding job.

The installation went really well and we were very pleased. There was two men who completed the installation efficiently and cleaned up after themselves each day. They worked with me on switching the color of the framing of windows to match some trim that we already had. They were very flexible and nice with me on this change.

Mark Fadely and his installation crew were extremely professional, punctual, and competitive in the product and service provided. They responded to our need to have the damaged door replaced quickly in order to help us in securing our home in the aftermath of the burglary. The crew was polite, respectful, and careful in the installation work. They cleaned up everything thoroughly after the job was completed, and they hauled away all materials including the old door. Fadely Home Design is a quality-focused provider of windows and doors. We are very happy to strongly recommend their services and products to others!

We were in the market to start replacing our east facing windows and 1 upstairs window. They were the original windows from when our home was built in the 70's. They all started slowly failing, so it was time. I called up several different window companies around town for estimates. We had done some research so we knew what we were looking for. I called Fadely last, because my neighbor had used them and I trust my neighbors opinion and ultimately was so glad I contacted them. The owner of the company, Mark came to our house to see what our need was. He immediately got us a price, then when we decided to change what we wanted, he happily got us a new price even though it wasn't a product they normally carried. He came in with a great price and we loved the fact that they were a local company, so we sent off the deposit check and the windows were ordered. A few weeks later when the windows were in, we were on the schedule for install. We had two installers for 6 windows. They did a great job, fast efficient, courteous and professional despite the very cold temperatures outside. The install took two days, because one of the windows was on the second story. The windows look great and we have had no problems. We are very please with Fadely Home Design.

The men were on time, professional, cleaned the mess up when finished. The doors and windows look great. Will definitely use this company when replacing my front door or any other windows.

We first approached Mark last fall to get a quote for windows and decided to wait to move forward. In December we decided to install two new entry doors and Mark quickly responded and did the instillations. He approached us in January about moving forward with the windows and we decided to move forward. Mark was very professional and responsive. We had a couple of issues arise like a window that opened the opposite direction then we wanted and Mark quickly ordered a new window and had it replaced. We also had a few windows that didn't crank smoothly and again, they came right out and tweaked them so that they work well. We have a lot of confidence that if we call Mark he'll respond to our needs. When we add screen doors to the house, we'll use Mark again.

The workers were prompt and did a great job. We especially appreciated how Mark Fadely and his crew communicated with us as the project progressed. Their goal was our satisfaction and the result was evident. We chose Fadely Home Design because the company offered an excellent product and the company has both liability and Workers' Compensation insurance. We contacted 4 other companies who were not sufficiently insured to suit us. In Indiana, homeowners can be held liable for injured workers of employers who don't carry Worker's Compensation. A waiver is not enough to protect you under Indiana law in the event of a serious injury resulting in a law suit.

Jay and his assistant were very careful and did a good job. They cleaned up well after the work. We were very pleased with everything.

Our about 15 year-old vinyl siding was coming off on one west-end of our two-story home every time the wind picked up and we ended up spot-nailing some planks, a not very sightly solution. We originally were just going to replace the siding on that side of the house since the same siding was still being manufactured and it would have been easy to match it. However, at the same time we were interviewing companies for this repair, we noticed some of our windows holding water in the tracks. Bee Windows, the installers for these windows, explained that the people who put on the siding years ago covered the weep-holes and we needed all siding removed from around the windows and the windows reframed, a rather expensive job. Mark Fadely gave us a very reasonable estimate for high quality siding and we decided instead to just have the vinyl siding replaced for the entire house. However, during the install, his crew noticed that the old siding was actually nailed into the window frame, ruining the windows. Mark Fadely was very flexible, put the job on hold and ordered new windows all around the house. They came in quickly, and his crew installed the new windows, siding, and also a new side-entry door. During the install, they also took care of the alarm system sensors on the windows and the door. The crew did and excellent job, were very meticulous with their measurements and cutting, very friendly, on time, and left the job-site in great condition.

Things went very well from the start to the finish. Danny and Randy were the primary guys who did the work I can't say enough about lengths they went to make sure the job was done right. If there was an issue they communicated and explained what had to be done. Mark was onsite a couple of times to look everything over and answer questions as well. I do have to say we had extensive water damage in one of the dormers. After mounting the window they discovered the complete extent of the damage and wound up having remove the window and completely rebuild the window box and dormer. They then reinstalled the window and wrapped the dormers in such a way as to solve moisture problem, making the window box dormer very appealing. There were a couple of mistakes, with some nails being driven through the interior drywall, but Mark and his team pointed this out and made it right! I say this out not as a negative but to show their willingness to make things right. Mistakes happen, it is how you respond that make the difference, and I am very happy with their response. As far as the sales process, Mark was very informative and not pushy. We absolutely felt like he was working with us to help solve a problem and he stayed engaged throughout the installation process. You can tell there is pride in the work they do. I have worked in the construction industry in the past and it is very evident when people know what they are doing as well as the way other people talk about them, Danny certainly had this. I was happy to have in the project, definitely felt like we had the A team!

Mark came to my house to measure my windows and french doors and give an estimate, he was very professional and easy to talk to. I knew when he left that I would pick him to do the work. I took a while to decide whether or not I wanted to have the work done. Once I decided to do it and contacted him, he came out to my house again to finalize everything. I was uncertain of what I wanted to do with the doors. He was very patient and talked me through my options. It was very obvious that he just wanted me to be happy with what I chose. He answered all my questions and I was glad that he was available by email after his visit for all of my random questions (with my work schedule, email is easier for me). This was the first time I've had a project like this done on my house, so I had a lot of questions. He responded to all my emails in a very timely manner. When it was time to do the work, the crew showed up on time and was very friendly and professional; I had no issues leaving to go back to work. They did excellent work and it was done quickly. They cleaned up very well, there was no evidence that they were even here. I had 5 ft French doors replaced with 6 ft doors, so they had to widen the opening. It looks like the house was built this way, inside and out. I love my new windows and doors and am extremely happy with the work that was done. It was a pleasure to work with Mark and I will definitely call him for future improvements on my home.

Mark Fadely came to our home to take measurements and give us an estimate. He brought sample windows and numerous brochures for us to look at. He was extremely courteous, low-pressure, and responsive throughout the process. He answered several questions for us, both in person during two visits to our house and via telephone and email later. The estimate he gave us was a little below another estimate we got for the same windows, but the real reason we went with him was because we just felt so comfortable working with him. The installation went just as Mark said it would. The lead installer, Danny, was a pleasure to work with. He did an excellent job installing the windows,and he cleaned up thoroughly afterward. He arrived every day when he said he would,and he finished the job on schedule. He instructed us on upkeep and maintenance of the windows and made sure we were familiar with how they work before he left. One of our old widows was a special problem for us because it continuously leaked when it rained, and Danny took special precautions to make sure the new one would be watertight. He even recaulked our kitchen sink for us while he was installing the kitchen window. When he was done, I honestly believe the house was cleaner than when he started. The windows look great, both from the inside and the outside. Working with Mark and the installers was a real pleasure, and we are completely happy with the whole experience.

Mark Fadely came out and gave us a quote which we accepted. they came and did the work on time.. Because these were not standard rectangular windows, there were complications.All issues were taken care of in a timely manner without any problems.

An ice dam slid off my porch roof, bending part of of the gutter below it. Because I had worked with Mark last summer on two other projects, I called him about the gutter problem. I didn't really expect to see anybody for a week, but his crew showed up two days later. They were prompt, they were fast, and they got my gutter fixed before it rained again the next day. You couldn't ask for better service.

Mark was professional in his initial visit. The removal of old windows, installation of new ones and clean up went as promised.The installers were professional and caused very little disruption during the process.They cleaned up after themselves and the work was completed in the time promised. Mark recommended a painter who also did an excellent job for a reasonable price. We had one issue after the installation and the installers returned and made the necessary changes.

We received several quotes for the work we planned to have done. Fadely Home Design and another company were similar in price and product. We decided to use Fadely Home Design because we had a personal recommendation and because the owner, Mark, sold us on his service commitment. We were not disappointed. The men that work for Mark are great. They were very helpful answering our questions and explaining the work they were doing. Replacing windows can be a messy job, but the crew took time to prep the area beforehand and cleaned up when the work was done. The completion of our project was delayed slightly due to a couple windows that had to be re-ordered because the wrong size was delivered and we had an issue reconnecting our home security system. Mark assured us both issues would be made right, and he was true to his word. We plan to use Fadely Home Design for any future needs and have recommended them to neighbors & friends.

I have used Fadely several times over the past few years and they delivered a quality product on time and as promised, again. Mark came to the house to show me samples of the product and once we agreed upon the product, he told me when to expect installation. He followed up with me as indicated and scheduled the install. The installers did a great job and also cleaned up very meticulously. I was also very pleased that my new carpet did not show any signs that work was done, despite lots of snow right outside the door.

Mark Fadely came out a couple of times himself, and made sure all the measurements were right....his lead installer Danny was great....they were always on time, and did an excellent job. We installed Pella windows which we believe to be the best! The cleanup was great, and much of the time they had to work in the snow. They were also very careful to make sure they did not drag wet snow and dirt into the house. We love the new Pella windows....our old metal window were awful....and it is unbelieveable how good they look and we believe the energy savings will be substantial!
