Fadely Home Design

I am so glad we chose Fadely Home Design 8 years ago. We have had excellent service from them since day one. Whenever a window needs replaced, they are at our house in a short time frame and never charges us for it. Their warranty is solid. It will even transfer to a new owner if I sell my house. I wanted to share this since I recently was again taken care of as usual.

We need to replace several windows that where at the end of their life. Mark was very knowledgeable abut his product and patient with our questions as we vetted him and other providers.The window replacement went very well. Mark was available and responsible and check to make sure all was progressing well throughout the days that it took for the replacement. He and his staff attended to detail and if any problems occurred they made sure that they were corrected with our complete satisfaction. All the staff was curteous, on time and considerate of our time schedule.

His name is Mark Fadely. He came out, gave me an estimate, chained down his price, and redid our roof. We have had just hail came through here. We are north of the pyramids. Our roof was undamaged, but I can to say that I do things when my husband leaves because he does not want to do this stuff. Mark did it for me. He did it in one week, a little time window we had. He had a crew come out from Shelbyville and redid my roof. He was very professional, very easy to work with, very nice, and very polite. If anything else goes wrong, he says he would make it right. I also had him redo some gutters. I had work done there and in order to do this. They had to go over those.

Mark was over 15 minutes late. I declined the estimate. He said he must have written down the wrong time. Very apologetic, but if he can't get an appointment right, what else can't he do.

My husband and I are very pleased with the job well done. Our 15 year old house had very leaky windows and now have all beautiful new windows through out. What a peace of mind that offers! Mark is an extremely caring and responsive person! My little girl and I have a lot of allergies including chemical sensitivities. We had some bad allergic reactions to the caulking materials (although Mark already searched local stores and got some low VOC stuff). He then searched the internet and purchased some special zero-VOC caulking materials which we did not have any reaction to it. We are very grateful that he goes a great length to take good care of his customers! We highly recommend Mark and will work with him again if we have a project.

Fadely guarantees their workmanship and definitely demonstrated it by being so responsive and fixing our problem quickly. We will continue to recommend them to others and use them for any of our needs.

All work performed as promised. Prompt, thorough. Walked through with the owner after completion. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the job.

The entire experience was excellent! Some of our windows had been replaced by a previous home owner and we needed to update the remainder. We reached out to 4 different companies - Fadely Home Design was priced very competitively. We really appreciated the personal attention we recieved from Mark - no high pressure sales pitch - just straight forward information. He gave us several local examples of the company's work which we could see for ourselves. He recognized the windows installed previously and was able to match up with them. We did make some changes to our order, which were incorporated right away. The order came in quickly and the installation was scheduled within three weeks of our original meeting. The windows were installed without a hitch and our home was kept clean throughout the process. The old materials were removed - no hassles with disposal. Mark kept in contact with us and we knew each day what to expect - a nice touch since we could plan for our pets, too! Now that our windows are in place, I've noticed our funace runs less and our house is much quieter. Thanks for the great work!

Our front door leaked air and really dated the home. The sliding patio door was original to our '70s home, too. We looked at home improvement centers to get an idea of pricing and were pleaseantly suprised by the quote given to us by Fadely Home Design, even compaired to the other door company we quoted. Mark helped us work our way through various options on both sets of doors and we settled for a front door with decorative side lights and an atrium style door for the patio. The order came in just as expected and installation was scheduled right away. Turned out our installation of the patio door involved cutting bricks and allignment of our door frame due to settling of our house. The installer resolved the problems at no extra charge and took extra care not to get our house dirty in the process. The old materials were removed and everything was clean and tidy. The installation is top notch, finshed beautifully. The company painted the doors for us, matching our color requests, and did a wonderful job. The owner, installer and painter all kept in contact with us throughout the process, so all our questions were addressed promptly. This has been a positive experience from start to finish!

Workers were professional and provided updates/scheduling which we appreciated. The screen that Pella sent with the replacement door was damaged but this was reported to Pella and reordered. Screen was installed at later date. Fadely installer came out one additional time to make proper adjustments to the door. We are very happy with the job they did!

Mark Fadely was a pleasure to work with from the initial consultation/estimation through the complete installation. The installation went smoothly - the crew was efficient and cleaned up well after the job completion. I definitely plan on using this company again for further window replacement.

Mark Fadely arrived on time to give an estimate of the job. We had a special need for a custom sliding door of 48", He had extensively researched and found a manufacturer who could make it for us. While looking at the kitchen door we also had him look at a 6' bedroom slider with a broken seal and very bad insulation (the wind would blow the curtains 12" into the room with cold air) and also a basement 8' slider which had bad rollers so was very hard to open and close. He also gave us an estimate on the small (28"x38") old spring loaded double-hung window in the bath. The discounts he gave for a much larger job than originally planned were so good we decided to place the order. The window and doors arrived on time. The installers were very professional, clean and polite. They arrived on time, cleaned up as they went, and answered all our questions. Mark came over twice to see how the work was going and to troubleshoot any problems. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We immediately noticed the lack of drafts, the improved appearance of the doors and window and how more "open" the rooms appeared AND the energy savings -we had to turn down the heat! This is a very good contractor who does excellent work for a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire them in the future

We have a very pleasant experience with Radely Home Design. They came the day they promised, worked out in the cold with few breaks so they could complete the job in good time. The head installer has been doing this work for 30 years and with Mr. Fadely for 18, they really knew their jobs. They even took care of some trim problems with a storm door as a bonus and they cleaned up well at the end of the work. Mr. Fadely was very easy to work with, low pressure and friendly and he was on site at the end to make sure we were happy with the job. This was the best experience I've had with a contractor ever.

Mark arrived on time and after discussing a new sliding door for our familoy roon, we sealed a deal. New door should be ready for installation in approximately 30 days. Looking forward to a the installation

We replaced all the double casement windows in our 1977 fieldstone ranch house with Pella Designer Series windows. All are double casement windows, except for the one in the kitchen over the sink, which looks out into the backyard. We replaced the double casement that was there with an awning window. We had the "between glass" blinds installed in all the windows, as well as the interior trim replaced and the window interiors painted. Overall, I am ecstatic with my new windows! My husband and I can be "nit picky" and there just wasn't much to pick about! Anything we had an issue with, and there wasn't much, was taken care of promptly and properly. We will be replacing our front door at some point soon (I hope) and Fadely Home Design will be our first call! We recommended Fadely Home Design to a friend, who we'll call "frugal with high expectations" :), and she is also using Fadely Home Design to replace all the windows in her house! Details... I found Fadely Home Design on Angie's List and remembered seeing the company signs in yards around this area. We got estimates from Fadely as well as from two other companies? a well known local window company and from the local direct Pella store. Mark (Fadely) came out to our house and spent a good amount of time with us going over what we were looking to do, including all the series and options that Pella has to offer. Mark was very personable and professional. He by FAR gave us the best estimate for a great product that had exactly the features we wanted. We decided to have the interior trim replaced with the installation and the window interiors painted as well (exterior is maintenance free). The installation went well. The caulking on the outside was done neatly and soundly. The new trim installation was done very neatly as well. It took a few days for the paint crew to become available, but Mark and the paint crew did their best to make it as convenient as possible for us! Rodger Roberts and his crew did the painting. They were also friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful whenever we had questions. A few small flaws in the woodwork of the windows and trim and all the nail holes were neatly filled and are no longer discernible. I had very little cleanup to worry about after either the installation or the painting, which was wonderful! As I went around checking each window after they were installed and painted, I noticed two that did not appear to be closing properly. I thought it was probably just an adjustment needed as it wasn't a "big deal" on either window, but they were new and I wanted them to be everything we expected. My husband called Mark and he quickly came out to look and determined it was most likely a warranty covered issue. He arranged to have the Pella warranty people come out to take a look. They did and agreed with his assessment and ordered replacement windows. We called Mark and asked that the windows be painted prior to installation since the weather was getting quite a bit cooler (it was mid-December). When the windows came in, Rodger picked them up and painted them, then they were returned to Pella for the installation under warranty. Still, Mark and his crews were making everything as convenient as possible for us, and we were grateful! Pella installed the windows needing replaced without issue. I love that they obviously stand by their warranty and did not argue at all even though the problem was very slight ? my husband had not really noticed it all all. SUMMARY Customer service was excellent Price was very fair? below other estimates for the same windows and included new interior trim and painting! Very pleased with the window quality Very pleased that Pella stands behind their warranty Love the "blinds between glass" option! My favorite window - the awning window over my kitchen sink! Would happily use Fadely Home Design again and have recommended the company to others

I originally contracted with another company and paid the deposit. That company was also "A" rated on Angies list. He made promises for months and kept postponing the job month after month with no work being done. Eventually I gave up and got my deposit back. Do your homework before you sign a contract even if they are highly rated on Angies. I immediately contacted Mark and got the ball rolling. We signed the contract and he installed them in two weeks. What impressed me the most was his punctuality and discipline. There were a couple of minor issues and he corrected them quickly. It has been more than three months after installation and we have not experienced any issue so far. By the way, the windows have life time warranty. On a related notes, Mark also replaced a patio door for me about three years ago. Unfortunately, all seals failed on that installation. I called Mark and even though it was more than two years and outside of labor warranty, he replaced them all with no charge to me. I think he takes pride in standing behind his work even if it is outside of the warranty period. You will not be disappointed!

Mark provided an estimate via email to replace a cracked second window. The crack was the result of some construction I was having done on my house. The contractor who was paying to replace the window seemed to think the estimate was fair (we didn't get any others). Mark arrived with one of his servicemen to measure the window. He said it would take 2 weeks for the new window to arrive. I had to follow up several times by email to check on the status of the window. We were anxious to get the cracked window replaced because moisture was coming through and was the middle of winter. The new window was installed 24 days after the measurements were taken- longer than we would have liked. The person who installed the new window commented that he was surprised the cracked window hadn't fallen out. If it was in such bad shape, why wasn't a temporary solution offered until the new window could be installed? In regards to the quality, quite honestly we haven't gotten up on a ladder to inspect the installation or the quality of the window. At least we no longer have the the threat of the old window falling in on us or our child.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The workers were very quality focused and worked to please. The 2 person crew was scheduled for 2 days to replace all the windows. The one issue that did occur was they replaced all 10 windows the first day but did the trim the 2nd day. The weather changed overnight and the windows let the cold air in. Mark was very responsive, apologized and treated us very fairly for the inconvenience. Mark said for future customers, he will only replace part of the windows the first day and make sure that all windows are sealed prior to the end of the day. Mark and his team were very professional and responsive. We would definitely use him again.

Mark Fadely came to our home and wrote us a quote for replacement vinyl windows while we chatted over coffee. Mark was very personable, while at the same time very professional. His quote for double hung, double pane, tilt-in windows was lower than any other vendor gave us for single hung windows. The product came a week earlier than expected. Mark fit us into his schedule with no fuss. His crew arrived on time, and installed the windows without a problem. They were clean, professional and efficient. We highly recommend Fadely.

Excellent service and job. They were able to move my install earlier than originally scheduled. They were very efficient, had excellent attention to detail and did a GREAT job of cleaning up after themselves. Very prompt service and follow up from the owner. I'd use them again for sure.

Windows that were replaced were very good. The screen on the patio door was not properly installed and gave us much trouble until the manufacturer came out and repaired. Had serious problems with the front door. It was peeling. Fadely repaired once and then had to eventually replace it. Responsiveness on the front door was not up to expectations although I believe that we have finally solved the problem.

Mark came out and gave us a good estimate. During the window installation, the installers did a very fine job. 1 window was measured incorrectly, but it was reordered and has been installed. Touch-up paint was provided to cover some mold marks left in the vinyl windows. I found Fadely Home Design on Angie's List, a Super Service Award winner. I hope He stay's that way.

This was the second time we have used Fadely Home Design for window replacement. Two years ago we had all the windows in our home replaced except the windows in our master bath because we were planning to remodel and unsure how the new bathroom layout would be. Mark was easy to work with and the installers were terrific as well. Instead of replacing with a picture window, we opted for two large, double-hung windows with privacy glass. We are extremely satisfied with the results.
