Fadely Home Design

This project went perfectly from start to finish! The owner, Mark Fadely arrived at our home within an hour from the time we called the office.to ask for an estimate. Mark is a hands on principal who has been in the window business for many years and it shows. He gave us an estimate on the spot and had his installer out the next day to do the exact measurements and order the windows. The installation required not only removing the old windows but basically rebuilding the structural supports from scratch. Jimmy, who installed the new windows is one of the finest tradesman I have seen. The finished product is fabulous! Once the job was finished, the owner came out to inspect the completed project to ask if we were fully satisfied, and of course we are thrilled. I would highly recommend this company for any window project, big or small. We selected this contractor based on Angie's List reviews which were all extremely positive. We cannot say enough about how pleased we were with the overall performance of Fadely Home Design.

I am more than happy with my whole window buying experience. I had quoted out about 5 different companies before deciding to go with Mark Fadely. Not only was his price the best, but the product he carried had a lifetime warranty. The sell for me was the Angie's List ratings and that the manufacturer of the window had a local distribution center to which I would be able to pick up a replacement free of charge if Mark ever went out of business (which I don't ever see happening with his reviews and level of service). He even showed me how easy it was to swap them out. Jimmy (the installer) came out with another gentleman to install my windows and he was very experienced. He knew what caused the leaking problem before he ever took the bad window out (which nobody else could tell me). Sure enough he was right. I am very meticulous and Jimmy explained everything and showed me tips on what and what not to do. He was very detailed on each installment task. He had to run out and get some 2x4's that were needed for some of the framing that needed replaced. He went out with a smile on his face and just had a legitimate happy attitude. Mark didn't even charge me for the extra wood that was needed. He didn't even bring it up. He did what he said he would do and didn't tack on extra charges (which wasn't major, maybe $15) when almost all of the industry would have. Fadely Home Design will earn all of my future business. Everyone from that company was personable and pleasant. Jimmy made it seem like he was my contractor by running through things, reassuring me, and made sure everything was done RIGHT. Awesome company!

We had a good experience with them. They took two days to do the front windows and two days to do the back windows. They added trim to the basement windows, but did not replace them. They had a good crew and we would recommend them to anybody.

Mark Fadley met with me as pre-arranged, on time, and walked me through the estimate. He provided me with a copy of the contract and certificate of insurance the next day. His installers, Danny and Chuck arrived as we scheduled and were very fast and thorough. The job was completed in 2 1/2 days and they did a professional job. I highly recommend their services and Mark made a personal follow-up call to check the installation. Nice folks and professional!

Very professional and nice. After 3 previous estimates, Mark returned my call the same day. Came out the next day to give me an estimate and we ordered the custom window that day. I was pleasantly surprised at his professionalism and the cost of the service with installation. His employees who did the installation were equally as professional. I would highly recommend Fadely for any future projects. I love my new window !

Mark Fadely evaluated and provided an estimate to the re-modeler who was doing the rest of the work in the house. The prices were better than most and they guarantee their work and products. The workers, Jimmy and his cohort, arrived just as promised before 8:30 am and started to work. All day, as they worked they cleaned up as they went. The frame had to be completely pulled out and the bottom of the frame was as suspected rotten. They had to make it so it fit securely and tight. The doors are absolutely beautiful and perfectly installed. I couldn't be happier and have already contacted this provider to replace our front storm door!

It went great. Thanks, Mark! I'm updating/preparing my home for sale. I needed to replace the old original worn-out HUGE wood picture/2 double hung combo windows in the family room. When Mark Fadely, the owner, came over to take measurements and give me a quote, he was very easy-going and friendly. No pressure whatsoever to make a decision then and there, as I had experienced from other contractors. He responded to all my questions and concerns timely. The windows arrived in the timeframe Mark specified. The installation crew was friendly and professional and completed the job quickly, only half a day. The installed product looks awesome both inside the house and outside. The work crew cleaned up after themselves. It was an easy, pleasant experience. If I ever need windows replaced again, I'll definitely go to Fadely first. The price was very competitive and fair, based on the other quotes that I have received.

I began my search for replacement windows in Aug 2013 for my 1997 Ryland home. I initially selected Bee Windows and settled for Marvin Infinity Fiberglass windows at a price of $18,162 because I was told wood windows would be 25% to 33% more. However after three times failing to meet their own declared schedule for the job; I terminated the contract with Bee and begun the search over again. I began looking at Pella, fiberglass again, through McCombs for about $16,863 but really thought the windows did not look at nice as the Marvin Infinity Fiberglass. I was just about to settle and sign the contract with McComb when I decided to join Angie's List and research McCombs and replacement windows. I have to admit McCombs had acceptable ratings but wasn't surprised that for the price category they had several "B" ratings. It was on Angie's List I discovered Mark Fadely and Fadely Home Designs and read the many rave reviews; especially price. Simply put it - Mark is fantastic! He promptly returned my initial inquiry. When we spoke he inquired if I was set on fiberglass and why to which I responded it appeared I had wood taste in windows but the budget of fiberglass. We set an appointment (I think the man never rests) and much to my surprise - I could get Pella wood windows for LESS ($16,480) than Pella fiberglass ($16,863) and the Pella wood windows look amazing! Additional this included dealing with removing a single window with 2 fixed sidelight panels that had had problems that Ryland could never fix completely. Another thing both McComb and Bee don't do that Fadely does free of charge is they take down window treatments and put them back up when they are done. That is a really nice service. Mark and the installers go 110% to make sure you are happy when they are done. Now remember I started this window search in Aug and by the end of my journey I was looking at a January installation date (one week after the severe temperatures) so I was nervous about the time the window openings would be empty and my heat escaping. Here is where Mark and team separate themselves from the rest of the replacement window providers I would expect. Fadely installers have been working for Mark and together for years. They have a polished process that exchanges the old window with the new one in just a matter of a few minutes. I work from home so I got to watch the process and trust me, there is no issue with a winter replacement. It is really very interesting to watch. I think what I appreciated was the time they took with my installation. They were on site for 4 days (6-7 hours daily) arriving promptly at the time they said they would each day. Mark stopped by twice to make sure all was going as promised. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along and were very professional. I can be pretty picky about things so trust me when I say I am gitty over my beautiful new windows and the installation process. Thanks Mark for restoring my faith in contractors!!!!

Mark was very responsive and came out to look at the job and then emailed a detailed estimate--something some of his competitors failed to do. His price was fair so we went ahead with the job. They were prompt, did the job neatly and cleaned up the area after working. We had a minor problem with the design of one of the windows and Mark was very easy to work with to get it corrected. We feel the windows are very high quality at a reasonable price. The only reason I marked them down a bit on responsiveness was because I had to contact them both times we were waiting for an order to see if windows were in rather than being called by them. Maybe just a timing thing. I highly recommend using Fadely Home Design.

They did excellent job. The price was very reasonable.

He called back right away. He showed up when scheduled and did the work all in one day. He even cam back on memorial day weekend to fix some issues with one window. He did everything he promised he would. He didn't treat us any different than if we were a customer with a big mansion.

We discovered that we had two bay windows (3 single windows in each bay) plus 3 other single windows that had significant rotting in the sash and the frames. Mark Fadely was one of about 6 firms that gave us a written estimate. We were surprised that all but Mark wanted to do complete window replacements. One of the windows has an arched window and everyone else told us that it would have to be replaced because it was part of the entire window frame. Needless to say, Mark told us otherwise and explained in detail how the work would be done and with confidence. Even though Mark was not the lowest he displayed the most confidence that he could do the work and in a timely manner. He should up on time for our meetings and his guys did the same. They were careful, clean, and keep us informed as what they would be doing during the time they were there. I would highly recommend them and I will happily call them again.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Mark was very helpful when he came to give an estimate. He explained everything thoroughly and gave good advice about practical and economic considerations. The windows were ordered and arrived in a timely fashion. The installers were impressive. They were skilled, polite, quiet, prompt, and respectful of our property. The windows were installed as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Fadely Home Design again.

Danny led the crew! They did an excellent job with the installation, building new thresholds and the clean up. Everything looks great, functions properly and we know the product will last and over time provide better energy efficiency than our old doors. They were respectful of our home and our time. They worked to get the job done as quickly as possible while paying close attention to detail. Mark even stopped by to make sure all was going well! That says a lot about a company when the owner stays involved until the job is finished! We would recommend Fadely Home Design for any work they perform. They are experts in what they do! They provide quality products, superb workmanship, excellent prices and impeccable customer service!

I needed downstairs windows replaced and also wanted what was a two window + door entry combination into the back of the house replaced with 3 windows. This was very difficult to do because of the precise measurements and retrofitting. The installers did an amazing job and the windows look great. I had them do my upstairs windows last year as well. They show up on time and clean up their mess. The color of the cherry wood match perfectly. I'm thrilled.

Mark came out and took measurements, listened to my concerns re a previous contractor and delivered very timely a fair price and made some other suggestions for future jobs. Danny and Chuck showed up on the appointed day. Very professional and the entire job went seamlessly and very quickly. They were both very skilled and pleasant and I could tell early on they would not take short cuts to get the job done and were concerned with doing everything correctly. This was also on the hottest day we have had so far. Work looks great and they cleaned up so that you can't tell anyone was even there except that the front of the house now looks great. Mark called while the job was in process to to see how it was going. All very great and seemless. They did 3 times the work in one day, in a quality manner, that it took another contractor a week to do shoddily. Fadely is great.

The new windows were installed about 1 month after Mark Fadely gave the installation quote. It took 1 & 1/2 days for the window replacements for entire house. The new windows and window trim look great and the house is much quieter and electric bill is down. The wood trim replacement was done after the summer rains had subsided. There were a few areas of rotting wood under the gutter corners and near the roof that were replaced and caulked. The entire house was then painted. It all makes the house look so much newer and the people working for Mark were very professional and courteous. I would definitely recomment them to anyone and use them again.

Mark Fadely arrived and quickly assessed the two windows needing replacement. He recommended the best product for the job and explained in detail the process and the cost. His then called as promised a couple of days before to schedule a time to come for the installation. His crew arrived on time and went straight to work, the living room window is a huge three panel window but Ben and his colleague had it out in about 20 minutes. After carefully preparing the area the new window was in and fixed in about 30 minutes later. Ben is obviously a very professionally tradesmen. He is neat, takes special care in perpetration and extremely tidy in cleaning up the site. The new windows ate beautiful and certainly add visual as well as financial value to our home. We give Mark, Ben and the whole team A++++++for the quality of work and their friendly/ professional work. We asked Mark to give us an estimate on rebuilding our three season porch and can not wait to see his designs.

My husband and I selected Fadely Home Design to replace the last original window in our home. It was very easy to obtain an estimate from Mark Fadely, and his crew arrived on time to conduct the installation. The installation went very well. They successfully removed the original window and replaced it with the new one. They also did a great job of removing the waste and cleaning up after the installation. Mark called a few days after the install to make sure that I was still satisfied. This is customer service I wish I could find in other providers! I would recommend them to other Angie's List members.

We are delighted with our new windows! They seal extremely well and the house is much quieter as well. We were amazed at how they were able to put in the new windows without damaging the existing trim and walls around the windows - excellent workmanship. The siding is beautiful and we look forward to heating and cooling savings as well as enjoying the new "look" that has eliminated the "waves" and irregularities of the original vinyl siding. The cladding of the face boards and soffits means we will never have to paint again! The gutters are well installed, work well and look great. Overall, we found working with Mark Fadely to be a pleasure. We never felt like he was trying to sell us anything we didn't need and he worked with us to find exactly what we wanted. The workmen were professionals who really did the work right and took pride in what they were doing. When we asked for a couple of favors (e.g. putting a matching air vent in the garage wall, and running some wire for a security light in the back of the house) they were glad to accommodate. The combination of good price, quality materials, fine workmanship, and great value is terrific. We recommend Fadely Home Design to everyone without reservation.

Great! It took a few days but that was expected. Very happy with them & have recommended them to several friends & family.

Mark came out to the house and gave us an estimate for two double casement windows and two double hung windows. We wanted the windows to match the other newer Andersen windows that were replaced by the previous owners. He was very professional and efficient. He was able to tell us which windows and trim would match. He beat the price of two other companies. While he was there we also asked if he could do an estimate for replacing two skylights. He took a look at them and said he would get back to us with the additional estimate when our windows came in. We called Mark when we didn't hear anything for several days after the windows were supposed to have arrived. He said the windows were in and we scheduled the install. We asked about the skylights and he said he didn't have an estimate, but that he would put one together. Two guys came out to do the install. It took them about 6 hours the first day and 1 hour the second. They were very professional. They took their shoes off every time they came in the house and were good about closing baby gates behind them. They had the wrong color trim with them, but were good enough to notice and ask about it before they did anything. They came back first thing in the morning with the correct trim and finished up. Both days, they cleaned up their work area before they left and they put all the curtains back up. The windows look great. Overall, we had a good, not great experience. The install crew was excellent, but communication with Mark was only ok. We still have not heard anything about the skylights.

The experience was outstanding. Got 4 estimates for replacement windows. Fadely Home Design was the obvious choice for me after meeting with the other providers and reviewing comment on Angie's List. Everything went well from removal of the old windows through the installation of the new ones. I have been extremely happy with the new windows. I would not hesitate to use Fadely Home Design again.

Excellent. We were very pleased with the overall project. Mark was very helpful in the design and estimate. The team was quick and did a very good job. When I was concerned about the trim on our door, Mark ensured that they took the time to meet our expectations. He was very eager to please and make sure that we were happy with the end-product. The only thing that might have been better was to meet with Mark when the team showed up to work and to talk through their plans in detail. There were a couple of things, such as the trim on the door and the siding on the back of the house that we had concerns with and that

Mark and I first talked about this project in early February. He had done some previous work for us and we were very happy with the results. He contacted me about the possibility of doing more work and I was just getting ready to call him for a quote. He gave us a quote for the siding and trim and it was excellent. We had planned to use his company because we had a previous experience with the quality of his work and professionalism and wanted to use them to complete the project. We agreed on the contract with the understanding that because it was early in the season there may be delays because of weather. After getting the quote for the siding and trim and painting I called him and asked about replacing a large window and small window which were broken. He came out and gave us a quote for the windows. He suggested we try a different window for the large family room window, which was a better choice and less expensive than the three double hung windows that were already there. We agreed on a price and included replacing the windows in the total job. The work was started in mid-March and completed in mid-April. There were several delays especially with the painting because of rain or cold weather in the Spring. Each time there was a delay we were contacted by the painter and Mark to let us know what was happening. Mark's crews are always very considerate and make sure the work site is cleaned up at the end of their work day. They always told me where they would be working and what they planned to complete each day. We are very happy with the results. Our house looks beautiful and we have had comments from many neighbors about its refreshed look. Mark ended up doing a large siding and trim painting project for our neighbor based on the results of this project. We plan to have them out later this year to replace more windows until all have been replaced. Mark followed up with checking on how we liked the work and sent us the link to get our energy credit for the windows. I highly recommend Fadely Home Design for any siding, windows or other work on your home. Mark is wonderful to work with and there is no high pressure sales involved. He spent time with me talking about what I wanted and then recommended things which were better ideas than my original thoughts and also saved me money in the long run. We will have his company complete all work on our house when it comes to windows and siding.
