Varment Guard Wildlife Services

Unfortunately I discovered I had a bit of a mouse infestation in the basement of my home. After searching Angies List I decided to try Varment Guard. I had to wait a week to have someone come out and although I was petrified and couldn't sleep I "hung in there". The lady that showed up did an inspection, explained to me what she found and then went over the cost and programs they offer. After reviewing everything I went with the Gold Plan. Then I was told that she would have to schedule someone to come out to do the actual work. Due to the issue I was having I was not happy to have to wait for another appointment (which took a week). Although both people were professional and knowledgeable I wish it would have been made clear that this would take 2 separate appointments.

Team arrived within alloted time. Viewed outside bath vent from ground and roof. Decided they needed to enter attic to remove nesting birds. Found that birds had pecked through vent pipe and made oversized nest. Placed nest in a garbage bag. Repaired pipe and sanitized. Placed a screened grate over vent pipe entry.

A raccoon(s) were nesting in the dormer on our attached garage. We called Varment Guard Environmental Services, they came out when promised, surveyed the situation and set two traps. Over the next week, four adult raccoons were trapped and removed, and two kits in the nest in the dormer were removed. The nesting area was cleaned and treated with a cleaner to help remove the odor and whatever. Their staff was very knowledgeable and professional, answering any questions we may have had about the process. This may not be the most economical way to get rid of this type of pest, but it sure is the easiest and efficient. It is a lot easier than doing your own trapping and disposal.. I would recommend this firm to my friends.

Very well. Service person was Maureen Patterson she was great. Gave us a senior discount. Since we may be moving I paid the one time rate but Maureen wrote on the work order should we still be here in the fall we would be charged an adjusted rate as though we had signed up for the twice a year treatment plan. Varment Guard is used by two of my neighbors and the recommended them highly.

I contacted Varment Guard to discuss how we could rid ourselves of a woodpecker that was actively defacing the front fascia of our home and to repair the subsequent damage. Brad provided the estimate and discussed how the work would be performed. A few days later, Mike came out to perform the repairs. They were both professional individuals who were customer service oriented. We are very pleased with the results and the filler matched the existing color and texture of the original surface.

They responded promptly to the call that I made. Their representative was very professional and he was willing to go an extra mile to extract the baby raccoon from the attic. It took quite awhile to catch the animal.

Excellent company. We had an ongoing problem with mice. We could catch them but wanted to find where they were entering our home. This is the only company that located the areas (there were three different sites) and thankfully since the seal of the three various areas we are free of mice

Excellent. Charlie was great. Arrived on time, went the extra mile for us and got the job done which was not an easy task. I wouldn't call anyone else in the future if we have a problem again.

They did not seem to want our business and scheduled an estimate date a week out. The price was high and we decided not to use them.

They were wonderful! We had a mice infestation and we have had no problems with this after they did their service! They were so good and knowledgeable and we felt the money was well worth it because it was so effective!

They were very informative and personable. They were very clean and neat. They wore uniforms. They used paint that I had to match the color for the repair. This is the second time I've used them.

I got a contract with them. My overall experience with them was good. They came and did what they need to do. I kind of wish they would call ahead to let me know when they were coming, because I want to be home and ask them about something more. But on the other hand, they did their job on time.

The people at Varment Guard did an excellent job in removing them. It took awhile , but that was the fault of the squirrels. They seemed reluctant to enter the traps. I've used Varment Guard before and have always been satisfied.

We had yellow jackets inside a wall in our house and the bees were actually getting into the house behind my drywall through a window. Varment Guard came out the same day I called and first explained what they could do and exactly how it would work. They sprayed the outside of the house and a couple spots inside. The bees were gone within two days. I should have called much sooner. It was very easy and effective.

They inspire confidence by explaining what they can accomplish and then doing that..

I was very happy with the quickness of response from Varment Guard, from my inital call to the estimate to the actual services performed. The tech was there on Christmas Eve to ensure I had piece of mind with family coming in for Christmas the next day. I received great customer service and will continue to use the company as needed.

Varment Guard has always been responsive to questions and issues. I have been using them for several years now for coverage of a duplex. They visit quarterly to treat the house and have made a few special visits for particular issues. As part of the plan, the extra visits are at no charge. In addition to pest control, they have also come out for animal control when some birds made a nest in a vent as well as when a raccoon made its way into both chimneys. I have not used any other pest control or animal control company, so I am unable to provide a comparison, but I also have not had a reason to try anyone else.

It has been great. I like the guy that comes and does it. If I see any bugs or anything they come out right away and they re-spray. I really like them. I can’t say enough about them.

Over all they are a good company and do good work.

The company was called and I asked many questions. They offered a free inspection of our home. After the inspection for which there was no charge they said if I had any further question to please call. They made no money from me for this service yet werre so knowledgable and helpful. I felt like I was getting help from a friend or family member not a business. I am truely impressed with Varment Guard.

Varment Guard responded immediately by deploying a specialist who set two traps. Within 24 hours 1 raccoon was caged. A technician came back on the same day to remove the creature. 2.days later another raccoon was captured and removed same day. Traps remained in place for 2 weeks after the initial captures with a company tech checking traps each day until the contract period had expired.

I'm just now moving back into my home because we had a fire so I have to call Varment Guard to start up service again, but they do a wonderful job. When we moved into this house we had wolf spiders that had nests everywhere. The house was built in '52 and it was horrible and the guy that came out got rid of most of them the first time. He came back a second time and we had mice everywhere and he got rid of those in 30 days with one treatment. Since then, even with rebuilding and everything, we haven't had any trouble with anything.

I found this place to be very professional. They had to make multiple trips to finish the job but did a great job calling to give me status updates on the situation. Overall, i was very pleased and would definitely use this company again in the future.

Varment Guard Environment Services Inc. came out and removed some woodchucks out of my yard. He was on time. He knew exactly how to catch the animals, that was exciting. He did a very good job. I will continue to use him.

I have gotten good service from them. They are very prompt and I think their prices are reasonable; I pay them on a yearly basis. Their technician is very pleasant and he is somebody I do not mind having around my house. He is good at keeping us informed about what is going on.
