They were really nice people and did a good job that I couldn?t do. They knew what they were doing. They came right out and diagnosed what they thought it would be. They set some traps and were on time. Their price was very fair. I would use them again if need be.

They had set up a central call-in system for termite control, I believe. The technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. We know and respect the owner for how he is as a person. My aunt?s daughter who had moved in to a new house had some problems with ants. She uses Varment Guard Environmental Services too.

They got rid of the yellow jackets. I haven't had any problem since. Everything was above board and reasonable. They were very pleasant and punctual.

The quality and professionalism is excellent. The price is a little on the high side. The people I have dealt with personally have been very technically competent.

They were excellent and I would rate them highly. They educated me and gave me options and ideas. They said that unless they saw the snake, they couldn?t really do anything. They gave me an estimate and that was what I liked about them. They didn?t charge me for the visit. I would use them again.

Everything went very well. Their price was half of the price of anyone else I called. The other company's prices varied widely for the exact same service. Other companies are charging whatever they want, so I was pleased to find Varment Guard offing the same service for a low price. They were very responsive, and have demonstrated a high quality of service so far. I will have more feedback once they come back out, but I have been happy with them up to this point.

We have been using them forever. They don't try to sell you a monthly service contract. They just come, take care of the issues, and tell you how you can fix things yourself. They are excellent! I don't think we would call anybody else.

I have been using Varmit Guard for at least 4-5 years now. Recently, I had an issue which I thought was related to pest control. So I called them. They came out to inspect and found that it was just dry rock. They were good enough to come out for an inspection. They are very prompt. They are very co-operative and they do a good job. I have a service agreement with them, so they didn?t charge me for the inspection.

We are on a maintenance program with Varmit Guard. They also come immediately, in case we ever see a bug. Once when we had a problem with the bees, they came out that very day. They are very professional. Their employees are always in the uniforms and they drive professional looking vehicles. They are always clean and very courteous. They are also very quick. When they are in your house, they are very respectful of your things. They try not to move the things around. We?ve never used anybody else for pest control; hence we haven?t compared Varmit Guard?s prices with that of the others. The quality of their work is great; we don?t get bugs anymore.

Our house was infested with rats. The rats were around 18 inches long from head to tail. They were like the Norway rats. When we bought the house we had a breezeway from the garage to the house itself which was basically just the roof. We had covered the brick floor with decking which was right down on the ground. There wasn?t a whole lot of space on there and was enclosed by sliding glass doors. The sliding glass doors were connected to the garden courtyard that had a water feature. The rats moved into the garden and took up residence underneath the decking. They were not the ones with whom you could mess around with and having them so close to the house was not acceptable. That?s the reason why we called Varmit Guard. They came out and sold us the package which covered everything including getting rid of the rats. The people that came out to get the work done were not the sharpest knives in the drawer. We had told them very specifically not to spray on the east side as well as on the south side of the house, as we had parrett windows. We had bull dogs too which are very fragile. The windows were open and we were concerned about what they were using. We told them that they could spray on the north and the west side of the house. When we could actually realize about this the guy was ready to spray on the east side of the house and had already sprayed on the south side of the house. I wanted to cancel my contract as they were not following my instructions. So, they sent another person to get the work done who was a little less socially maladjusted. Once again he too started spraying underneath the parrett window. That?s when I became unpleasant. I also had the president of the company sitting in my living room and explaining to me as to why my demands were unreasonable. The guy who came for the second time to get the work done was a very weird person. He was not a whole lot better socially adapted than the first exterminator we had. Apparently Varmit Guard has been very successful. They also left all of their bait boxes and didn?t bother to take them with them. We are still waiting for them to come and pick them up. In the meantime we continue to fill up the bait boxes with rat poison. If anybody wants to get rid of the rats then they can purchase the bait boxes and rat poison to get the job done, without hiring anyone. We did get rid of the rats, but they keep coming back. Since the rat infestation is out in the woods, it has to be dealt on an ongoing process and there is no reason to pay somebody to do it. Most of the pest control companies that I have dealt with so far used to charge around 300 $ to 400 $ a year for pest control and it includes termite inspection too. If they find terminates then they will try to get rid of them by trying to adjust the money that you would have paid them initially. However, if Varmit Guard finds termites, then they will charge you extra. The price that they charged was very high, as I am paying a lot less for getting the exterminating work done by somebody else at my rental properties. Their quality of work would have been fine if they had followed my instructions, but they didn?t. They were very responsive in taking our cheque and I wouldn?t like to comment on the rest of it. They were very punctual. They were not professional, as they had a low IQ and there was lack of social responsiveness. I would never use their services again in the future and I would not recommend them to a friend either. There is nothing that can be resolved now, as we have determined that we hate each other. One of my neighbors had Varmit Guard help them to get rid of the raccoons and I met the guy who did the work for them. I was very impressed with him and I thought that I would get the same service, but I didn?t. I feel somebody else might have had a good experience with them. I don?t think they would have grown as fast as they have grown now, because they have franchise all over the place. Being told that there were no problems spraying insecticide under my parrett window was something that wasn?t acceptable. I feel that you aren?t supposed to say that to a customer. Somebody else might have had a fine time with them, but I didn?t.

Overall well but they were hard to get a hold of afte the initial call; they have aphone system which only seems to work when you leave a message and they call you back otherwise the phone sytem seems to loop.

It went very well. Jeff was friendly, helpful and professional. He answered all my questions. Even though I couldn't find an Varment Guard coupon in the latest Angie's List magazine, he gave me $10 off the original quoted price.

We thought our house was totally mouse proof. Recently, we saw evidence of mice in our garage and in our basement. I immediately set some traps and checked with Angie's List for help. I talked to several firms on the phone and was impressed with all of them. I chose Varment Guard because I knew they did other work in our neighborhood and their great reviews on Angie's List. The phone contact was easy and professional. The inspector was punctual (called to say he was running 15 minutes late and wanted to be sure that was still convenient for me). He was very experienced, knowledgeable and professional. He sought my ideas and listened to me. His recommendations made sense and he made them very clear to me. Today, the technician treated our home for mice and we decided to also have them treat for insects on the outside. They found the entry point for the mice and will have an "exclusion technician" here next week to seal it permanently. We apparently spotted the problem very early and were able to address it before any real damage was done.

Anita came out and did a free inspection as well as an estimate. She was very professional and polite, no pressure to use their services. When we decided to use their services they came back and set up traps for the voles. We were very pleased with their services.

We had a bird stuck in our bathroom vent. Varment Guard came out and rescreened our vents so that no other birds could come in and removed the two birds without harming them. It was great! They were timely, professional and cleaned up after they got the birds out. I would definetely call them again.

Bill called and asked to come early (which thrilled me)! He did an extremely thorough job treating my home, yard, and garage for the ants. He took the time to explain what he was doing and the choices he was making for treating the problem. But more than that, he threw in treatment for mice without an additional charge. When the sales person had come the week before to give an estimate, he asked permission to leave a difficult-to-open access panel (from a basement crawl space) open for treatment the following week -- I allowed it but closed it myself after a day because of the unpleasant smells coming from the open panel. In the meantime, however, we got two mice in the house (at least two so far)! So Bill treated the problem promptly and throroughly. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism and helpfulness. I have hired them in the past and will continue to do so (although I would not recommend leaving access panels open again!)

They are very amicable and knowledgeable. The salesman came to the house and provided a report. The first contact was good and now we are ready for the first treatment.

They arrived on time and safely and cleanly removed 27 bags of debris and disinfected the attic space. The debris was sucked up in a tube and deposited into the bags, so the dust was minimal. It was a hot, dirty job done over two days and they did great work.

Very well. They came and made some recommendations both on their end as well as things I could do on my own to maximize the effectiveness of the treatments. Both the salesman and the technician were on time, polite, organized and efficient. Performed a very thorough treatment.

I would recommend them. While I would feel a little better if the animals were actually caught, they came daily to check on the traps, and would keep me updated with daily notes that they would hang on the front door. When they felt that it was time to seal up the roof, but I wanted them to keep the traps out for a little longer before sealing everything up, they agreed to extend the time period. Everyone who cam out was very nice, informative, patient, and willing to answer questions. Every step of the way, they were prompt, courteous and professional. The estimate they provided at the beginning was right on target, and it included sealing up the gap where the animals were entering, and examining the attic.

Varment Guard came out quickly to give us an estimate of where mice were getting in to the basement, a general assessment of population size, the measures they'd take to help us eliminate the problem and the cost to do it. Upon hiring them, they filled an entry point behind the heat pump and a hole in a corner of the garage, they left several bait stations in strategic points in the basement and in the garage. They assured us that if within the next few months we noticed either no change or an increase in activity, they'd come back. Both the estimator and the technician were very nice, prompt and thorough in their work. God forbid we'll ever need them again, but if so we'll definitely hire them.

They were wonderful. They are going to come four times a year. They are a very thorough company. They go all over the house, even into the crawl spaces. This place was recommended to me by the house inspector. They are a very good company to work with.

It went exceptionally well. They are extremely friendly and dependable.

They send the same technician every time. They always do a a good job. If we see something that needs to be taken care of before the next routine visit, they will take care of it at no extra charge.

I really like them. I have birds that constantly land on my roof. They sent out an expert for free because I belong to the maintenance program. He gave me my options and also check up on my home frequently. I use them for preventative measures.
