I ran over a yellow jacket nest in the ground with my lawnmower on a Thursday. I got stung a few time on my face and elsewhere. I called Varment Guard the next morning and they had Mark King at my house by 4pm that day. They quoted my $153 over the phone but the exterminator only charged me $100 when he got here. He suited up in a bee suit and sprayed the area with a powder while also digging around. He saw the queen and was able to directly cover her. 2 days later and no more yellow jackets. Very happy with his professionalism. He answered all my questions.

I have used them numerous times. I was satisfied with the work and I would use them again in the future. I even told my neighbor about them.

They put bait stations in the basement and somewhat inspected the exterior of my home. It was raining, so they didn't do as thorough an inspection as needed. It took them 3 trips to my house before they found the entryway into the house and stopped it to prevent more mice from entering. They just didn't do a thorough inspection and I have mice back again, just under a year later. I had previously used a different company in 2003 and didn't have a mice issue for 6 years after their inspection and treatment.

Brad from Varment Guard came out, walked us through the process of trapping, gave us an estimate, and then was prepared to begin the work immediately. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The main perpetrator - a big mean mother raccoon - was caught the very first night! It took a couple more days for the second raccoon but it soon was caught, as well. Both Brad and Brian were efficient, professional, and very pleasant to work with. We would be pleased to work with them again!

We found pharaoh ants in our pantry. Tried store-bought bait first, but read how difficult they are to control so we called Varment Guard. We had a great experience with Varment Guard removing bees from behind a wall several years ago, so called them again. They were out the next day and the ants were gone a day later and we haven't seen a sign of them since. We'd been using Tru Green's pest control service, but switched to Varment Guard during their visit. Quarterly treatments for $119+tax. The ant treatment was $239+tax, which was a three-month program. For an additional $20 we could start the quarterly program.

An incredibly satisfying experience. Called on a Saturday morning as discovered (while cleaning a basement window) what we thought was a dying opossum trapped in a basement window well adjoining our patio. The window well is extremely shallow (about 6-7" inch opening for the length of the window opening - well about 2' deep. Called Varment Guard and they called back within 30 minutes and Jarred arrived a little over an hour later. It turns out there were two opossums very much alive. Jarred "captured" and caged both and installed a heavy duty guage wire barrier secured at all points of attachment (top to wood under siding drilled/screwed) edges touching cement foundation and cement patio secured with epoxy cement. The barrier carries a five year warranty and was beautifully installed, likely not noticeable to anyone but we the grateful homeowners. Jarred was incredibly responsive, professional, and efficient. We had called another company and we were given a quote of $375 to remove ONE opossum. Varment Guard initially quoted $130 to remove what we reported as ONE dying opossum. To capture and remove TWO "critters" and install the 5 year warrnatied guard was $220. From time of our initial call to time that Varment Guard successfullly and beautiflly completed the job was a little over 3 hours.

After the initial estimate, all of the work was completed while I was away from the house. I came out to five raccoons in four traps one morning. By the time I got home, the traps were cleaned and reset. The next morning, another one caught, and so on. No traps were ever left for more than the day. Still, I was very worried when the raccoons would stop appearing, and a bit horrified that there were so many of them. The fencing was put around my 54 ft of deck in the span of two days. I feel much better about it now, and am very grateful for VG for sticking this all out. I had no idea the problem was so bad.

Karl Bachman was our service provider, and he was great. He was on-time & went on a good walk-around inspection of our house. He made several recommendations about spots we could fill on the outside of our house and even provided us with some mesh material to begin addressing some of the spots. He gave us good information about moving forward - and didn't set-up additional traps because he wasn't sure we needed them. I appreciated that he didn't just set traps to charge us for monitoring...and we've had no other issues since our one caught mouse. But we would feel comfortable calling Karl back if we did!

Came promptly. Traps were set outside the house, hoping to get the single squirrel living in our attic to come out. Eventually, I moved one of the traps to the attic because she seemed to be alone and I knew where she traveled because we had video cameras up there. Caught her on the 3rd day. They removed and monitored traps for another week. Then, patched the hole she had made in the stucco. No problems so far (4 months).

Mr. Karl Bachman promptly arrived at our house at the scheduled time. He listened to our concerns (an invasion of chipmunks) and looked for any signs of pest or wildlife. He made suggestions regarding preventative actions that a homeowner can take against a variety of pests and wildlife. Much to my surprise, Mr. Bachman saw sawdust looking particles on our deck. He found a 1/2" hole in one the deck railing slats. He identified the hole to be the results of a carpenter bee. He felt further infestation would occur if this hole was not chemically treated. We contracted services as he had commerical grade chemicals which we could not purchase. He advised us to check the treated area as carpenter bees lay eggs that should develop in approx. 3 months. If the chemicals don't kill the bees we were instructed to call him and he would come back. We were given advice about chipmunk control and we were able to treat a carpenter bee problem. Thank-you Mr. Bachman.

It went well, I had one problem but we straightened it out. They were prompt, courteous. I had a problem with the price, but we worked it out.

I was pleased that their response was timely. Charlie, the worker, was cheerful and was able to transfer the animal skilfully and in a humane way. Overall the service visit went well. As I needed only a pickup I thought the price a little high. I will need to remember to ask for the senior discount next time.

The sales person was very friendly and thorough inspecting not only the inside of our house, but the outside where she found the entry point for the mice. The person who did the actual application was very nice and was training two others at the same time. They were very friendly, wore booties over their shoes to avoid getting our floors dirty and completed their work quickly.

They treated my home. I decided to have them come every 3 months for a year to make sure that those isues are complete. They were great! They were very professional and encouraged me that the problem can be fixed. I did not grade price as I had nothing to compare to, it seemed fair though.

I had squirrels getting into my attic because our condo building's roof was replaced during summer and the roofing company pulled off flashing that kept critters out. The flashing on my unit was previously installed by Varment Guard 3 years ago. I called Varment Guard at the end of October to schedule a free estimate. Brad came out and was very nice, but 25 minutes late with no call ahead to say he was running behind. He set traps up that day and Jared came out daily (except weekends) to check them. It took about 3 weeks to complete and we caught 7 squirrels. They offer a 5 year warranty (which the roofing company negated from the first installation when they pulled off the flashing). I think they are a good company and do good work, but the price tag is very high. The cost went up $150 from the first time I had the exact same things done.

Great job. They were very efficient, finished the job quickly and cleaned up thoroughly.

Varment Guard did a great job. They identified where the squirrels were getting in and out of the house. They trapped one squirrel on our roof and three at the neighbors house (the neighbors had called the same company). We followed that up with repair of the chewed wooden eaves and now - NO MORE SQUIRRELS!

They were very prompt and thorough. They answered all my questions. They did a very good job. They did pest removal. Then they used a sub contractor to repair a part of the house that was damaged. I don?t think I had any problem with their punctuality.

I noticed a dead opossum in front of my house on a New Year's Day. I called Varment Guard the next day because I had a contract with them for pest control. This service wasn't covered. They came out promptly and removed the animal. I thought the price was pretty high, but I didn't have other options and didn't want to delay the removal of the animal. I was happy that someone would do it that quickly.

They were very thorough. I was very pleased with the results. They were able to remove two squirrels out of it and we have not had a problem since.

He is professional, keeps the pest down for us because we are in the woods so, we need bug controlled.

They were very prompt and responsive but, more expensive than other ones. Their staff was very friendly.
