TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! IF I COULD DO IT OVER I WOULD HAVE GONE ELSEWHERE!!!!! This is my experience.....We got our front and backyard (full sod and landscaping) along with hardscape- a retaining wall for our front yard in late 2014 by Blade Cutters. Come March 2019 our retaining rock wall was collapsing in two spots. The crew came out to look at it and said that it was built with inadequate materials. After going back and forth, Gayle (the owner's mother who works in the office) agreed to send a crew out to repair it. They said it should have been glued before but wasn't, removed some blocks from the wall, stacked and glued it together. Approximately one year later after they "fixed it" it fell apart again and Gayle finally came out again after having to explain to her repeatedly why I was upset. They tried saying it must be a problem with the dirt pushing out the wall or water when we clearly do not have ANY water issues and the whole purpose of a retaining wall in the first place is to keep dirt from moving!! Then she sent us a quote to have the company come out and rebuild the wall with new material, correctly. I was shocked that she would expect us to fork over 4 grand plus and blindly trust that they would build it correctly this time! After MUCH back and forth over several months Gayle agreed in writing that she would send the crew out to fix the wall with the materials that were already in use and make it look acceptable. That was in September and it is now almost December and Gayle nor anyone from the Blade Cutters office have returned my calls or emails. I am a very reasonable person and I expect that a company would stand by their work and not just blatantly ignore an unhappy customer. I have neighbors with retaining walls that have lasted them over 10 years that were done by other companies and have no issues whatsoever. The companies that did our neighbors' obviously used the correct type of material and did the work correctly. I would never recommend this company if you want work that is done correctly, will last you more than a few years, or a company that will stand by their work. I am frustrated, have been dealing overall with this issue since late spring. Now winter is coming fast and I am in the same boat I was 6 months ago with a collapsed retaining wall done by a company that did not perform a job correctly. Also to note: I asked them to respond to me on their facebook a few weeks ago as a last ditch effort....they then removed my comment and now I cannot even leave my honest review on facebook because they blocked me from being able to comment or leave a review. That probably took more effort than if they would simply contact me back.

They had to wait over a week with all the rains.  When they finally were able to get to it dry, I came home to an absolutely gorgeous yard,   They always do exemplary work.

Front turned out well, eventually, though one application was done badly, leaving crop circle effect over entire lawn. No offer to adjust price...but and quot;onlyand quot; lasted a couple of months. In spite of promises and good moisture throughout spring and most of summer, back is no better than when I bought the home, almost a year later.

We are always looking for bids for the financial benefit of our community, another company had better prices and had similar work quality.

It went very well. They were very conscious about where they placed the plants, and asked my opinion. They also graded the job properly. They did a wonderful job, were very polite, and they cleaned up every day before they left. The firepit is just beautiful. I really wanted the plants and trees to be native to indiana, and they did a good job keeping them native.

I asked for a quote to perform some landscaping and to cut the lawn at 2 of my house in LOFS. They accomplished both without ever inconveniencing me. I did all of the detail set up work from the phone in my office. Elite wanted me to set up an appointment - which I did - then they weren't sure what it would cost. After 3 phone calls and them not ever cutting my grass when they said they would I cut it myself until I found Blade Cutters. I would have given Elite an and quot;Fand quot; but I can't find them on here any longer to do that. I'm not one to complain but I think cutting the grass is pretty straight forward, typically your local 15 year old can do it without too much trouble. So far, Blade CUtter has been on time and cut both properties that look snice and I've never actually met anyone - exactly how I like it.

They guys on the crews are hardworking and thorough. They do good work. One of the crew leaders (Alex?) seems very knowledgeable. He discussed things with my wife without being condescending. I'm not sure all the guys on the crews speak English and that was a challenge when they were mowing the lawn. The rates are competitive.

The managers are a different story. Dennis is not that knowledgeable and doesn't return calls. If I call Kevin, he takes care of the problem, unfortunately by calling Dennis and telling him. Dennis will sometimes call my wife back. She has left messages with the office and they never responded. We asked Dennis about cutting back some Spirea in the Spring because they were getting woody. I think he actually recommended against it. I did it myself and they look great. They bloomed nicely, have great shape and color. They are now blooming again.
Response from Blade Cutters
"We have tried to take on the miscommunication problem by adding another office employee. She's here Monday-Friday 8-5, so with the exception of a few daily errands you should always be able to reach someone in the office with any of your concerns at those times."
