He has repaired appliances for us previously. Called at 8:00 AM. He responded to call within a couple of minutes. During initial discussion we set estimated costs that would be acceptable to go ahead and repair. It fell almost exactly within the middle of the range. So, he repaired the problem by 1:30 on the same day. We had left a key at an agreed upon location. He accepted payment over the phone. Dryer is working great!

He actually advised not to repair the washer because it would cost more to repair it than it would to buy a new one. He did realign the dishwasher while he was here as a seperate job. He was very honest and fair and I would call him again.

John is professional, prompt and fair. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repair even quicker.

I called several companies to get their fee rate and to find out when they could do the repair. Mathew Appliance repair offered me the best repair date and their price was on the low end of what I was getting from the other companies, so I went with them. I actually had an opportunity to talk with the repair man prior to his coming out and gained an appreciation for his knowledge and approach ( I am an engineer). The dryer has been working great ever since.

John was prompt with scheduling, on time and very professional. He even had the spare parts in the truck for both my ice machine and disposal. No need to order parts and pay for a return trip. Pricing was very fair and he was very nice to deal with. Will use again for sure.

When I realized the drum inside my 15 yr old clothes dryer wasn't turning, I searched Angie's List for a repair company. I chose Mathew based on the high number of good ratings, and the fact that he is a one-man owner and operator. When I called for an appt, I was suprised to hear that he could be at my house within 2 hrs. And as quoted, he was. The repair itself was very quick, 15 minutes tops, and Mr Mathew was very friendly and professional. He even gave me some operating and efficiency tips for both my washer and dryer, and gave me the name and number of someone that could clean my dryer vent. Very pleased with my experience overall, and definitely will recommend to friends and use again.

Matthews made an adjustment to their schedule to arrive earlier, diagnosed the problem and provided options with expert opinion on costs, life and brand names to consider and why. We felt this was a service provider who focused on customer first and who we could trust. We highly recomend him.

Dryer quit on Labor Day. We moved into the house only two months before, and dryer came with house - we didn't know age. Our favorite appliance repair person from our previous location [Dave's Appliance Repair - Zionsville] didn't service our new area so we turned to Angie's List. This company highly rated. He diagnosed the problem correctly over the phone and arranged to visit fairly promptly. Scheduling actual visit was a bit chaotic as he was trying to fit us in - but it worked out. Repair completed promptly, and he also gave general assessment of the washer and dryer now in our possession. He also alerted us to possible lint buildup in dryer vent and recommended someone to clean (we ended up using that person and had a very positive experience). An affable guy - nice to work with, and turns out he is well acquainted with our previous repair person. Glad to have a good contact for these services in our new home.

I rated a B for responsiveness because I didn't really know when he would come until the day he called me back to say he could come. But, other than that everything went great! Thanks Mr. Mathew!

The problem was that the front loading washilng machine was fillilng up with water even when it was not running.He replaced the water intake valve. The washer is seven years old and it works fine now.

Promptly returned my call for repair. Discussed problem, water not draining. Bottom of dishwasher holding water.Set up a repair date- was prompt calling and letting me know what time he will arrive.Arrived on time.Knowing that there was water in bottom of dishwasher from our phone call, he did not have anything to drain water, asked if I had a shop vac. I had one, I do not know what he would have done if I didn't. Took filter off my shop vac to drain water. When finished I asked if he could put the filter back on but he said he didn't know how. When he left, I checked shop vac and water was still in. He was here less than an hour and used the bathroom twice. I'm not upset about that but usually service people don't use the facilities especially 2 times.As far as him fixing the dishwasher he did in less than an hour. He was friendly and gave me the Angies List discount.I do not know if I would use again. There are others listed with an overall rating of A

He was wonderful. My refrigerator and freezer had gone out and he was able to come by the same day I called him. He was prompt and quick. I have also read some comments about him and he was just great.

I called early Monday morning and left a message. John called back a short time later to ask about make and model. He ask what my availability would be. He called back a short time later and set up a time around noon the same day. He arrived on time, got right to work, found the problem and replaced the needed parts. He was finished in about 45 minutes if that. He definitely knows what he is doing. He give me some advice on some settings we never have used before. We have used him before and will again when needed.

He was very nice. He did a good job fixing the dryer. He came out to the house and our electricity went out before he got hear. He came out a second time and fixed the dryer. He saw the problem and recommend an air duct company because he noticed a new problem that we did not know we had.

Mathew worked around my schedule in getting out to service our oven. He was prompt, courteous, very nice and lighthearted. As he cleaned the glass windows, he was very conscientious of making sure that ALL of them were cleaned to my satisfaction before he began to reassemble them back into the door. I really appreciated that small action. I appreciated the fact that his company is founded upon Christian principles.

On his second visit while running a load of laundry the washer completely broke. At that point he know what the problem was. It was a cracked spin basket. The repair would cost $400.00 to $500.00 so I decided to buy a new washer instead. Basically, I paid $110.00 to have a repair person witness the demise of my washer.
