I left a message, no one returned my call.

First time to use this company. Incredibly responsive, great communication including texting for estimate, ordering parts, setting up time to come to house (especially being sensitive to my difficult work schedule) While repairing the oven, he made sure that area was neat/clean. Oven door initially seemed to be working perfectly with new spring/hinge, but several weeks later went back to not working. When I called the company, they immediately apologized, said they would order another set and since everything was under warranty there would be no charge. He could not explain why the door broke again so quickly, but we've had no probs after this second repair. Would definitely use them again!

Proprietor was out the next day, diagnosed the problem in a timely fashion and made the repairs. He was very knowledgable and friendly. It was a win - win deal.

Our refrigerator's ice maker quit on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I called John at Mathew Appliance on Friday morning, and he came over that same afternoon (great service on a holiday weekend!). After going through the diagnostic process, he found the part that wasn't working and ordered it for us. John came back with the part on Wednesday and replaced it and had it working in under 15 minutes! This is the second time we've called him -- he repaired our dryer and gas stove burner in January. John is quick to respond when you call him, he's extremely knowledgable about all kinds of appliances, he's professional and pleasant, and does excellent work at a very fair price. Give him a call the next time one of your appliances breaks down - you won't be disappointed!

A paddle inside the drum broke, and he replaced it. Last year he'd fixed a washer problem.

The serviceman arrived on time and cleaned out the vent. No problems. He left a reminder that we need to have this done at least every other year.

I have waited about three monthes to make sure it fixed the problem and everything is fine. We have a 2 year old refrigerator freezer with the freezer on the bottom. Mathew knew how the freezer was made up and mentioned that the newer ones like we got have a new rubber drain valve which is not as good as the old plastic tube that drained water. He seemed very knowledgeable.

Took a couple of phone calls to initially get someone out to assess the problem, but once John came out, he quickly dtermined the problem, ordered the parts, and then after the parts came in, he repaired our freezer. He was very nice, clean, knowlegeable, and professional. I would definitely use him again.

Great. I got a fast response time to my initial message, we set up a window (1 hr. block of time) for him to show up, and he did. In & out quickly & efficiently -- just the way I like it. Will ring him up again if I have any more repairs.

great, Matthews ansered the call the first time i called, i was scheduled for the very next day. he showed up with part in hand and fixed the problem. very quick, responsive and accurate.

Our ice maker failed on our fridge. Consulted Angie's list to find a service repair man. Called Matthew Appliance for service because of his good reports. Was not disappointed. Would recommend this company to anyone.

It went well. John had to make several trips as a result of having to order two parts for the icemaker., On the first trip he checked the ice cutting grid and said he felt heat on one side. He set the ice cube size down to a thinner one and said he thought that would enable the cutting grid to let the cubes drop more easily. He asked me to let him know if that had solved the problem. I called him later and said it was still not letting the cubes drop into the basket and he came back to check it again. He thought the problem was the control for the cube size and ordered a new part which he installed when it arrived. That still didn't solve the problem so he ordered a new cutting grid and installed it when it arrived. That did solve the problem. He was very good about keeping me informed on the status of the delivery of the parts and when he would come to install them. In addition he assisted me in fixing a lithium battery hand grass shear which had a gear which had slipped out. There was no charge for his assistance.

It went very well. He misunderstood my request and and another man call me right away to resolve the problem. Once it was clear that I need to have a part replaced, he contacted me right away and set up an appointment. He got the part quickly and fixed my washer and answered all my dumb questions with a smile!! Just great!!

I had a Maytag Stacked washer dryer and the washer was acting up. When I called Mr. Matthews for a repair, he told me how to take care of the problem without a service call - and he was correct! Another company I called wanted me to put in a $500 part and now I see that it was not needed.

No response so I would say it was unsuccessful.

Installed the motor in a timely matter, dryer is working great!

I had a problem with my dryer not heating up. Come to find out it was the heating element.

The owner is fair, knowledgeable, friendly, and timely.

Everything went very smoothly. The job was completed promptly, courteously, and with quality. I will contact Mathew's for all future appliance needs.

Good experience. Came out on Tuesday to look at the ice maker and determined it could not be repaired. No one carried the part locally, so it had to be ordered. Came back out on Friday to replace the ice maker, and it works great!

I put a load of wash in and the tub filled, but then would not begin agitating. I had never used an appliance repair service before so hopped on Angie's List and found that this company had good reviews. I called at 9:30am, my call was answered right away, and they made it to my house by 3:00pm. The whole job took about a half hour and he took the time to not only explain what was wrong with my machine, but to give me tips on how to make it last longer and how to use it to its best ability (i.e. make sure water covers the clothes and use warm/hot water whenever possible). He was very jovial and I enjoyed chatting with him. I will definitely be using this company again on any of my appliances!

He does a wonderful job in all the repairs he has done for me. I am very impressed with his work, and I would recommend to anyone with appliance problems.
