Asked a lot of questions up front and so he knew in advance what parts to bring to fix the problem. Ice maker was defective and had to be replaced. He even tried to put in a different model that has a better track record, but it would not fit. He was very personable and I will definitely call again.

He was outstanding. He came within two hours of calling. The price was fair. He had all the materials and equipment he needed. I would definitely use him again if the occasion arises.

My washer is 8 yrs old and I am not very literate on prices of parts. I think he was fair and did a good job. As a retiree on fixed income I. Appreciate someone not trying to take advantage of an older person. Any senior discounts?

It was fine. He looked up the parts before he ever came out which was great. He was quick to determine the issue. He expedited the part for an extra $20 shipping. He is very personal and professional.

He was wonderful. I would have him again in a minute if I needed him. He just did a really good job, I really liked him and I have not needed him again but I would for sure call him again. His price was not high. He was very professional and he was so knowledgeable. I think he also replaced the ice maker in our indoor refrigerator. He had to order that and come back. He was just excellent. He took care of 3 different large items and he knew exactly what to do for each one specially the one in the garage which was a little complicated but he figured it out.

John communicated when he could be there, diagnosed the problem promptly, and fixed it without issue.

It went very well. It required two trips ? the first to diagnose the problem and order the specific part, and the second to install the part and adjust some other mechanical issues with that appliance.

On the first visit he replaced the drain pump, and the ice maker still did not work. On the second visit he replaced the main computer board, and the ice maker worked.

I called and explained that we had a drain hose on our dishwasher with a hole in it. I gave him the model number of the dishwasher. He called several days later, said the hose was in and he would be out to replace it in a couple of days. He called when he was on his way two days later and we now have a functioning dishwasher again.

I had called John in the past for our refrigerator freezer and dishwasher. When you leave the model no. along with the problem, he sometimes can figure it out over the phone and direct you, as he did with the dishwasher, and saved a service call, I called on Monday and left a msg about our 2002 gas range that the hinges had broken, it wouldn't heat, and there was a strong gas odor. He was prompt in communicating when he would be at our home. He ordered the hinges ahead of the trip, so he didn't have to make two trips. He detected the problems immediately and repaired the problems within an hour. Job well done!

I am selling the house and because of the inspection discovered one of the burners on the gas stove did not light. I had used Mathew Appliance to fix a washer two months earlier and was very pleased with their service, so called them for this repair. They came the following Tuesday morning with the correct part for the stove. I asked whether he could check the dryer vent, which he did and cleaned it as required. John was very professional and pleasant. Did his work promptly without wasting time at a reasonable rate. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

barged into house, never introduced himself, never shook hand, no boot covering, dropped tools on hardwear flooring even though had a towel, then charged the service fee after he said that it needed a compressor, in which he was already told thats what was wrong to be again with. asked a cost he said he was not qualified, and does not have the tools.

John was prompt and diagnosed the problem within 30 seconds of checking the machine. He was quick to fix the problem and expalined what needed to be fixed. I am very pleased with my service and appreciate it not taking all day!

Mr. Appliance was able to take all of the appropriate information regarding the appliance over the phone, including the actual issue, and based on this information, was able to bring the proper part with them to the repair appointment without having to make an additional trip. I am pleased with their work and promptness in getting my dishwasher fixed.

I called for service on Monday morning and spoke to John. I explained what I thought was wrong and why, and he indicated he would be have to get the parts and then be able to come out the next day. John called me earlier than expected the next day (a GOOD thing!) to say he was on his way. He was very efficient in completing the work, and extremely courteous in talking with me. I would happily call again for service and recommend to anyone else.

Mr. Mathews was considerate about scheduling the appointment to accomodate my work schedule. When we agreed on a time he was prompt. He got right to work and completed the repair quickly. Informed me that the dryer motor was making a noise that may indicate a future problem, but indicated that nothing should be done until the motor actually stopped working. Also did a quick evaluation of my washer and indicated that it appears to be in good condition. I was concerned about the cost because he does have a travel charge. However, he works efficiently, so that the time charge was reasonable and the overall bill was worth the repair.

John used his expert knowledge and from the dryer problem description I gave him over the phone, he was able to diagnose the problem. He ordered a new motor and within a few days installed it. I was very impressed with his quick diagnosis and response. He also gave me a good recommendation for Safe-N-Clean to come out to clean the dryer vent, which turned out to be a "life-saver"! Both services were greatly appreciated. Now my dryer is working like new. Thank you, John!

I called on a Thursday morning and he stopped by the house 5 hours later. He diagnosed the problem to a leaking drain hose. The amount of water that leaked didn't match the issue, so he suggested it could be the door seal. He came back the following Monday with the parts, and we decided to change both the hose and seal while he was there. John was responsive, gave a 2 hour window, called a few minutes ahead, and was very courteus and professional throughout. He toook the time to explain what he found, answered our questions, and presented options. It was a pleasure to deal with him and will be our go-to guy for any future repair needs.

I've never had an appliance repaired so I called to ask some general questions. The man I spoke with was not very nice and seemed to get a bit of an attitude with me when I told him I am trying to figure out if it is worth it to spend the money on a repair or if I should just put that money into a new dryer. He never even asked me what problem I'm having with my dryer or how old it is and he assumed that I was expecting him to take care of it immediately by telling me, in a very annoyed and inconvenienced tone, that he could probably fit me in today. His assumption was wrong, I didn't need to be squeezed in today, or tomorrow, or even this week. Bottom line is, I never expected him to give me an estimated cost over the phone, but I did expect him to answer my questions to the best of his ability and in a courteous way. He wasn't courteous at all, he was very rude. I don't give my business to people who treat others that way.
