It was ready in less than a week. I am very pleased, and they were professional and good to work with. Even carried my vac out to my car for me.

I had a great experience with the Avon store. I called to ask about replacement of the power cord on a Dyson vacuum, and I was told the cord costs $40 plus a labor charge of $15. I took the vacuum in and because we have never had it serviced in 13 years, it needed some other work. I got the vacuum as a demo model from a Sam's Club, so I'm not even sure that we ever had an owner's manual. I had no idea we were supposed to clean and/or change the filter. Needless to say, it turned out the vacuum needed more than just a cord! I ended up having the belt replaced along with the cord and a couple of other things. Dropped it off on a Monday, and they called to say it was ready on Wednesday evening. Vacuum is working great - probably better than when we originally bought it, and now we know how to clean the filter and how often to do so. Overall, a great experience.

We took the Dyson vacuum in for a repair. After a time, I called to see if it was ready. Every time I called I was told that the man working on my particular vacuum was not in. Finally I drove over to the store to check on progress. They gave me my vacuum that had been cleaned and I assumed repaired for a charge of $40.00. Two days later I received a call stating that the vacuum had not been repaired and they made a mistake by letting me bring it home. I was told that the part needed was on order. I then asked that they let me know when the part was in and I would drive out with the vacuum. I have never heard back. I could still be here waiting but I took it to another repair store where it was ready in a week.

I have been to this business before and received service that is consistently fantastic. The owners and employees really know the business and do a great job. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything but I purchased a vacuum anyway. They serviced my old vacuum and made it run like new. The charges were more than reasonable. I have had my vacuum serviced here on multiple occassions. My old vacuum cleaner is now 12 years olds and runs very well for a home that covers 2700 feet of floor space; mostly carpet. They sell top models of vacuum cleaners and know each model very well. They also have a great range of selections for any price. Their retail prices are very good and with my new purchase they didn't charge labor for the repairs on my old vacuum. I will continue to return to this store for any of my vacuum needs and/or service issues.

They were very helpful in unclogging my vacuum and did not charge me for their service.

They explained the vacuum extremely well. I went in and told them exactly what I wanted. They only care two or three different kinds. I was impressed with the models. He showed me how it worked and allowed to use it. I appreciated talking to him about the vacuum cleaners ahead of time. He showed me how to do the bags and different attachments. They were very thorough. They have been around for a long time. They are one of the few people in the area who carry the product. They do in-house maintenance.

The vacuum is called as Hoover Porta Power. They were very fast and very friendly. It didn't really need much service, so they cleaned the outside of it. They even wiped up the cord and things like that. It is an old vacuum. It is probably 30 years ago.

Everybody there was great to deal with. They were honest in explaining the work that was required and the costs involved. I would recommend this company to anybody needing vacuum sales or service.

They did a great job. They took the part off their own vacuum cleaner, which is a demo, and repaired mine with it. They were amazing. If I ever need a new vacuum I will buy there. I was so impressed with their service.

I TOOK IT IN, HE LOOKED AT IT, (WHILE TERRI, MY MOM AND MYSELF FUSSED OVER HER BEAUTIFUL DOGS!) WITHIN 10 MIN. HE HAD IT WORKING ENOUGH THAT I CAN GET A LITTLE MORE USE OUT OF IT. (ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS AN ANCIENT - 17 TO 20 YRS OLD).

They inspected it thoroughly to see if the whole drum needed to be replaced, or if they could just replace a portion of it. Unfortunately, it was designed such that the whole thing was one unit, so it required complete replacement. They offered to order the new part and I could wait for it to come in, or they'd be willing to let me have the part off their brand new demonstrator model and be back in business today. I opted to accept the part from their demonstrator as it would save my time and trip. When the new one comes in, they'll put it on their demonstrator.

I drove from Pittsboro to the new store in Avon, and brought my machine in. They took it right away, replaced a belt, put new screws in the housing (apparently they had come loose over the years), and it ran like a charm. Total cost $3.00, total time, less than 10 minutes! So friendly and efficient. I will definitely use them again. They also sell Miehle appliances, one of the best brands out there. I'll replace my vacuum when it's time by going to Vacuums and More in Avon!

Vacuum lasted about one month after repairs before the motor burned out again. They repaired it for free and it has been fine since then. Younger serviceman tried to convince us to buy a new model after the first repairs didn't last (after older service man said we should get several years out of the over hauled machine.) reluctantly agreed to fix it again, but did. Older service man was great-much easier to work with. Scores primarily reflect problems with younger person in store.

PROVIDED GOOD ADVICE ON LOCATION AND NUMBER OF OUTLETS. DAMAGED A PIECE OF WOOD SIDING DURING INSTALLATION, BUT FIXED IT TO OUR SATISFACTION.

HE MADE IT AN EASY REPAIR WITHOUT CHARGING ME LABOR OR FOR PARTS I DIDN'T NEED. VERY HELPFUL! * $3.70 FOR A NEW BELT * NO PRESSURE TO BUY A NEW VACUUM.

I TOOK THEM IN AND HAD THEM BACK IT JUST TWO DAYS. HE CLEANED BOTH OF THEM OUT AND REPLACED THEIR BELTS. HE SAID THEY NEEDED CLEANING AND SOME REPAIR. WHEN WE TOOK THEM IN, HE TOOK 15 MINUTES TO TALK TO US AND LOOK AT THE VACUUMS AND TOLD US WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE US A ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON HIS WORK. I WILL TAKE THEM BACK THERE IF I EVER NEED TO.
