American Washing

Not well. The worst experience ever. This is not a good company - be very careful in dealing with them. The "operations manager" called and said he was sorry. His "team" was not supposed to come to our house he said "because you cannot clean after a rain." Those were his words. I told him about dirt (such as bird droppings) that were not cleaned. He said that they would come back and completely re-do the work. He said they would be there Friday or Saturday of last week. I waited both days and they never showed. Today I received a call from the "girl in the office" who said "the owner" decided not to come back. They offered to reduce the price by half for the work they did. So for 45 minutes of work (and 20 minutes of arguing with me about what they missed and smoking on my property), American wants me to pay $430 in addition to the deposit of $218 - not to mention my time and aggravation. In my view, American did not perform the services I requested. The roof is not clean. The siding has obvious dirt in the areas they did not cover. They did not use a ladder to get the second level of the house so I don't know how they thought their ladder could reach that high. I am not surprised to find this is actually a roofing refurbishing company. This is a huge rip-off. The worst part is the workers act like bullies and the "girl in the office" went from "there is no way they could clean in 45 minutes - I will handle this and get them right out to correct the issues) to "screaming at me on the phone and telling me that it was my fault I felt I had to supervise." I wonder if she realized that this is my home we are talking about. You send these two characters to my house (that is putting it as nicely as I can) and expect me to not be concerned? This is just horrible. Homeowners beware!!!! I see there are other complaints - do not be taken as I was.

It worked out great! They are very fast were on time and finished the job when they said they would. Our home looks great.
