Description of Work: There was water leaking in my closet from the ceiling. they determined it was coming from the unit above mine. He went with me to the unit and spoke to my neighbor and told him where the leak was and what my neighbor had to do to repair it---above and beyond what I expected.

Description of Work: Simple job that had a catch. New toilet to be installed. Job done quickly but then there was the unseen crack in the tank. Emergency service came out late on a Friday night. So without that job would have been half the price. Serviceman (same one for install and emergency call out) was very professional and helpful. They are a little pricey but we're finding you get what you pay for so it was unfortunate but there you go! Visited office to book appointment and they were all great in there too.

+ -1 moreKERRIGAN WAS ON TIME FOR ME, ALTHOUGH A FEW TIMES THE SERVICEMAN CALLED FROM HIS CAR PHONE (RATHER THAN COME UP TO THE DOOR) AND OUR NANNY DID NOT ANSWER THE PHONE SO WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE. ALSO, IT DID TAKE A LONG TIME TO GET A SHOWER JOB SCHEDULED, LIKE 6 MONTHS, THOUGH MOSTLY BECAUSE THE SHOWER TUB TOOK A LONG TIME TO ARRIVE. THE PLUMBING WORK HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD FOR US. WE HAVE NEVER HAD TO RECALL THEM FOR THE SAME JOB. DUST IS SOMETIMES LEFT BEHIND, BUT I WAS NOT EXPECTING THEM TO LEAVE THINGS SPOTLESS. THEY DO CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. OUR ONE SIGNIFICANT ISSUE WAS THAT WE HAD A SHOWER TUB REPLACED, AND THE STONE TUB WAS A BIT OF A FUNKY PURPLE COLOR, COMPARED TO THE SAMPLE. WE DID NOT REALIZE IT UNTIL AFTER THE TUB HAD BEEN INSTALLED, AND THE TUB WEIGHS ABOUT 300 POUNDS. I WISH WE'D HAD A CHANCE TO CHECK IT FIRST.

+ -1 moreWORK WAS STARTED ON TIME, THE PROBLEM WAS EXPLAINED TO ME, AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED QUICKLY, ONCE THE CABLE COMPANY SIGNED OFF ON THEIR RESPONSIBILITY (VERBALLY). THE HIGH COST WAS DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF HAND LABOR. MY ONLY ISSUE IS THAT KERRIGAN MIGHT HAVE TAKEN IT A BIT FURTHER WITH THE CABLE COMPANY IN GETTING SOMETHING IN WRITING PLUS INSURANCE FORMS. I NEVER DEALT WITH THE CABLE PEOPLE SO AM A THIRD PARTY REMOVED TO WHAT WAS SAID.
Description of Work: OUR CLEANOUT FOR THE SANITARY SEWER IS IN THE PARKWAY AND THE LINE RUNS FOR 130' BEFORE CONNECTING WITH THE CITY SEWER. THE LINE GETS BLOCKED ALMOST YEARLY AND WE HAVE IT RODDED, HOPEFULLY BEFORE IT BACKS UP. OUR PLUMBERS HAVE REPORTED DIFFICULTY IN ENTERING THE LINE AT THE CLEANOUT AND RODDING. THIS YEAR, WE DECIDED TO REPLACE THE CLEANOUT. UPON DIGGING OUT THE CONNECTION, THE KERRIGAN MEN FOUND THAT THE CABLE TV LINE HAD PENETRATED OUR SEWER, RAN INSIDE IT FOR 8 FEET AND EXITED JUST BEFORE THE CLEANOUT CONNECTION. KERRIGAN COORDINATED WITH THE CABLE TV COMPANY, WHO ADMITTED RESPONSIBILITY. THE ENTIRE LINE HAD TO BE DUG UP BY HAND, SINCE IT RAN UNDERNEATH A TREE, AND REPLACED.
