DESIGN INTERIORS

The first thing that happened was that they sold me a clothes washer that did not work. I waited a couple of weeks for a repair person to come out here, in December, when I was about to go away on a holiday. After the first repairman came, I was told it would be done before Christmas. It was almost Christmas time, and they did not fix it, so I bought my own. They did not reimburse me for that expense. They instead gave me a credit with the company they bought the non-working washing machine from, but I would rather have it from Design Interiors. The other problem was that one of their workman did very unsatisfactory work. Design Interiors ended up firing him because his work was not up to par, and now the grout in my kitchen is flaking. I complained in writing about the tile and other problems (like leaking under the sink and around the dishwasher). They did offer to deal with the leaking problems, but the flaking of the grout they blamed on the dryness of the home, which is not true, because the only 1/3 of the kitchen is flaking. The company itself has not been aiming to please. They have deflected criticism, they have sent me a credit for a company I do not want a credit with, and have not been helpful. The owner himself is gruff and not a good listener. Made decisions without asking my opinion regarding my remodel. I was very disappointed in this job. I could not in a million years recommend this company.

They did a very good job.
