We had a water leak that went through 3 floors of our house. Bob came out immediately and his crew arrived the next day. Cornelio, Edwin, Luis and the rest of the crew were amazing. They were meticulous with their work and got everything dried out over a period of days. They were friendly, communicated well with me and let me know exactly what they were doing. They returned a couple of times to check on the dryers, were meticulous, and cleaned up everything and put furniture back in place before they left. Their office staff communicated well with the insurance company. These are definitely the guys to call if you have a disaster strike.

I was overcharged for items I didn't need. They didn't pack up the molded dry-wall which is industry standards. Left molded items in my front yard for 5 days. They didn't close off the molded area. I was charged for services that I didn't need done and also charged me for other things they never did. I got charged $7000.00 for a sloppy job. I almost recommended the company to the EPA. Was really given the run around and I was lied to about billing adjustments.

Did a marvelous job on carpet that was dirty after remodeling in home.  Carpet looks like new.  Workers are polite, hard working, and professional.  Stains on carpet are gone.

The work was outstanding and we were very pleased.  The only issue I will say is that they have a problem with their billing system.  For some reason they had an issue "connecting" with my insurance company and I kept getting repeated invoices from them.  It was finally all straightened out.  They were very nice about it.

They came out and took out the water that had flooded in our basement.  It wasn't but moments later that the water was coming back in.  They told us we had to get the sewer drain fix, so we did.  Once that was resolved, they came back out and assessed the damage and dertermined that the carpet had to go and as well as parts of the drywall.  They also sanitized everything and neatly cut the walls as well as collected the carpet neatly and put it by the trash.  They were all very courteous and they were just awesome.  Bob was very willing to work with me with the cost since I didn't have flood insurance.  They cleaned up so well that there is no trace of water or mold smell in my basement.

About 2 months later, on August 30th, we finally received a bill from All Flood for $4,349.67. We were shocked based on the verbal estimate given by the crew manager. After reviewing the charges, we couldn't understand them. When we asked All Flood to explain them, they sent us a more detailed bill but wouldn’t explain further, telling us that the charges had been approved by our insurance company (State Farm). State Farm gave us an estimate of damages but did not approve the All Flood charges. We made two payments to them in the amount of $1,500 (the $500 deductible and a subsequent payment of $1,000) and told them that we were not going to pay more than the crew manager's estimate. They turned us over to a collection agency. We told the collection agency that we would pay another $1,000 to settle the matter (for a total of $2,500). We paid the money and 2 weeks later, the collection agency said All Flood would not accept it. Our $1,000 check (marked "Final Payment") remains uncashed and they have threatened to sue us. **REBUTTAL TO SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE** The representations of All Flood are false in the following respects: 1. We did not advise Mr. Martinez that we would be submitting the matter to our insurance for payment to All Flood. We only advised him that we had sewer backup coverage and the amount of it. 2. The crew manager for All Flood that came to our home (Edwin Figueroa) indicated that the cleanup costs would be between $2,200 and $2,500 approximately. All Flood’s crew manager gave a verbal quote and All Flood would not have been allowed to do any work unless we knew the approximate cost. 3. We did not personally decide how much we wanted to pay. We paid an amount that was the maximum amount estimated to us from the only estimate given to us---a verbal one from the crew manager. We agreed to have the work done based on the representations of the crew manager. Additionally, we did not agree to sign the work authorization until the crew manager gave us an estimate. We would not have authorized the work if the estimate had been $4,349.67. Mr. Martinez does not have the right to have his crew make a representation as to the cost of cleanup and then bill us for a different, much higher amount just because there is insurance coverage for the amount. We’re not entitled to an estimate of charges because we have insurance? That doesn't sound fair. And their last line that the matter has been resolved? It hasn't.
Response from ALL FLOOD & FIRE RESTORATION
"I am responding to your fax complaint on 3-3-11 regarding our client/your member. We responded to an emergency call from her and provided water remediation services to his home. First I would like to explain that we take pride in the work that we do and the services we provide to our customers. I would like to explain that all of our technicians are well qualified to access water mitigation damages. Every employee is a graduate of the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration, and the Hydro Lab Water Damage and Training Center. The member advised us that he would be submitting an insurance claim for the work that we performed. When submitting insurance approved paperwork we have to use Xactimate software. This software is used Industry wide by Restoration and Insurance companies for estimating the cost of water remediation services, repairs and reconstruction for residential and commercial companies. This software publishes structural repair and cleaning price lists for 468 separate economic areas, and they update this information every quarter. The prices for our services are set by the industry, all Insurance companies accept pricing set by this company's software. She also stated that we quoted him $2,500.00. Yet when I contacted him for payment he stated a technician (he did not know who) quoted him the amount. Our technicians do not know the pricing structure associated with water clean-up and never give verbal quotes. State Farm has sent payment to her for the coverage his insurance policy provided which his maximum payout is only $5,000.00. The damage to his home exceeded the insurance coverage he had. He personally decided how much he wanted to pay us without any factual information to back up his statement. We also provided her with the opportunity to pay a discounted invoice in which he choose not to respond ( I have enclosed a copy of the letter we sent). I am also sending you a copy of the signed work authorization and completion form so that you know the job was performed and the invoice that was generated was within general business standards for the industry. Please let me know if you need further information. I would also like to know that the matter has been resolved."
