I advised Steve I could drop my car off but would need a ride home and back again when the work was done. When I dropped my car off, they had a loaner available (just needed to replace the gas I used). They did a vehicle inspection and sent me a report (with pictures) listing both what passed inspection and what repairs were needed. They did an oil change, repaired the left rear tire, cleaned the fuel injection system, replaced the cabin air filter, replaced the front stabilizer bar and bushings, flushed and replaced the brake fluid, replaced the spark plugs and air filter and did a tune-up. They got the left rear window to work (I didn't know it wasn't) and got rid of the rattle that occurred when the right front door was closed. It's so nice not to hear that any more! They were friendly and gave helpful advice about what to look out for in the future. I would definitely bring my car back here and highly recommend them to others needing vehicle service.

They are great. I've been with them for about 20 years and I never had a problem. I've never had to take it back for a problem. I find them competitive with their prices. They tell you everything what they found and they tell you what has to be fixed and what can wait, especially if don't have a lot of money. They've always told me everything they are going to do and I always find that is exactly what they do. They call me and let me know when it's ready or to ask if they can do something.

Very professional and friendly.  I was able to discuss and choose the caliber of parts that I wanted to use for the repair, since this was an older vehicle that I planned to replace soon.  The repair I had done was competitively priced and done in the expected time frame. I appreciated that they called me back timely so that I did not have to follow up.  I received a printed quotation for future potential work I was considering.   I liked that they sent me a coupon for $savings.  They display their staff's certifications.  I trust their judgment and am confident in their work.   All-around a great experience.

It went great.  I called the day before asked for an appointment the 1st thing the next morning and indicated I would like to wait.  I was told it would take about an hour.  It took less then an hour and I was very happy with the service.

Absolutely Terrible.  The owner JJ Jobst is a classic salesman, and a con artist.  He gave me a quote of $519 to fix the water pump and coolant flush and a tire leak fix.  He tried to upsell me to replace the water pump belt.  When I asked to see it, I found nothing wrong - no wear or dryness.  When I confronted him, he said it could be OK. 
He tried to sell me a cabin air filter for $44.13.  I said I can do this myself, then he gave me a long lecture about the professional workmanship involved in replacing parts.
He charged me $135 for a cooling system flush, which I am not sure was required.  I checked with Midas, Firestone in the area and got quotes for $40 to $90 for the same service.
He offered me a $30 discount when I told him his charges are higher than all providers in the area.  He offered me a $30 discount.  He failed to subtract this from the total.  When I confronted him, he said it's already taken off. 
He refused to give me my car, and I had to call the Schaumburg Police on July 24, 2013 to get my car back.

So far they have been very good. I took my car to a dealer and I was not really satisfied; they kept pushing work that had to be done but did not really need to be done so I was looking for a group I could go to. I have only been going to them since August but they have been very good to me so far; they have been very honest. Their pricing is average.

I called Schaumburg Automedics after Schaumburg Honda wanted me to make an appointment for an oil change, with a one week wait time. Schaumburg Automedics had good online reviews. I called them around 11:00 AM and they said I could come in around 1:30 PM. When I arrived they did a thorough check of my car's maintenance history (using Alldata Online) and on-board data to make sure nothing else was needed (it wasn't). The oil change took about 30 minutes. The inspector (John Jobst) seemed very knowledgeable and interested in making sure the car was in good condition. He even reviewed my receipt from my last maintenance work with Schaumburg Honda and commented on some things that could have done less expensively. All this for an oil change. They seem like honest people and interested in making sure customers have a good experience without overpaying for unnecessary work.

The experience was good. They were able to fix my air conditioning problem. They found out it was just a blown fuse. Things went pretty well. The only problem that I had was that they were pretty busy. I had to set an appointment a week in advance. They were professional and the job they did was fine. I have since had my air conditioner stop working again, and it could be from the flood I drove through. I plan on using them again.
