The quality of the work was awesome and the workers were very professional and answered any questions I had along the way of the work. My only critique is that the timelines initially given and even at the beginning of the project were off by a couple of weeks. Some of the communication in that wasn’t always clear.

We met with John and Letyce from Basements by Bek to discuss finishing our basement. John arrived at our home promptly and provided a reasonable estimate for the work, which was within our proposed budget. While it wasn't the lowest estimate we received, we immediately felt comfortable with John and trusted that he would deliver quality work without surprises or sloppy results. Both John and Letyce kept us informed throughout the initial planning process. John even advised against adding a bathroom, noting it likely wouldn't be used regularly and would significantly increase costs. I truly appreciated his transparency and that he prioritized the customer's best interest over seeking additional profit. A few months later, we now have a beautifully finished basement, perfect as a play area for our young kids during the winter. We also have a home gym with padded flooring and an area for my wife and me to use for board games or as a future bar once we can reclaim some space from the kids. We are incredibly grateful to John and his entire team. The entire process was worry-free; we always felt informed, and the completed work looks incredible—exactly what we expected given John's professionalism throughout our entire engagement. I highly recommend considering Basements by Bek for your future basement projects.

My new favorite place! John provided quality work at a fair price. He offered excellent options and solutions to problem areas resulting in a stylish and functional living space. He paints the exposed ceiling black, stunning! It provides texture and depth making the low height appear taller. My favorite feature. My basement is beautiful, I’m pleased and I highly recommend!
