I brought my son's computer for repair at this computer place, on June 12, 2013. Having no news from the repair man (Chris), I decided to stop by and asked if he got a chance to take a look. It was June 19. He answered no, because he was running behind as he told me. OK. Since it seemed busy and there was no rush, I waited another week. When I returned on June 28, he told me he still hadn't looked at the computer. Starting to lose patience and considering a wait of two weeks reasonable in this case, I told him to look at it upon my polite request. According to him, the computer might have been "fried" based on the fact that he could not power it on somehow. He needed more time! Not knowing what to do next, I decided (what a fool!) to give him more time hoping that very soon, this time, he would fix my computer. When I came back, he felt embarrassed because he hadn't still fix my computer. I demanded my computer back, then. Since it was disassembled, he asked me to come back. Again? I did come back the very next day (Saturday, June 29), for the third time, and finally got my son's computer back. If only things had stopped there, but no! Later on the same day, I realized he didn't give me back the exact same charger I brought on my first visit! UNBELIEVABLE! Very upset and decided not to let it go (I can't stand incompetence), I came back the FOURTH TIME, on Monday, July 1. I explained and asked for my charger. He looked "everywhere" and wasn't able to find it. He asked me to come back with the reference number of the charger. It was out of question to come back for the fifth time! I suggested that he buys me a new one for compensation. He asked for my phone number and name, which, by the way, he had already in his computer since the first day! He became exasperated (why?) and demanded that I leave his shop. What a nightmare! Not only did I get thrown out, I wasted my time and lost a charger! I consider that this situation could have been resolved in a timely and polite manner if Chris (the person in charge of Mai's Computers, I guess) would have been more honest, responsible, organized and professional. I felt poorly treated by this individual. He made me out to be unreasonable and confrontational, which I am NOT. I was just defending my point of view as a customer. I contacted The Better Business Bureau (BBB) and learned that someone else had already filed a complaint against Mai's Computers. I'm not the only one, obviously!
