First off, we asked for MID-LEVEL cabinets. The woman loaded the plan up with a lot of cabinets, she upgraded to ALL PLYWOOD (without mentioning it). She priced their PREMIUM line, without doing a comparison of their mid-line. She was a bit flustered and agitated and had a rather "off-putting" personality. The layout was "ok" but I was fuming later when I realized she priced their more expensive line and upgraded to all plywood (totally unnecessary!). We didn't realize until after we left, as when our 2 hours were up she basically told us she had to wait on a bystander, that she was basically alone. Really? You are going to shove us off ($15 - $17K customer - well actually it should have been about $9 to $12,000!) for someone who had a question? Not the kind of customer service we will accept, and we took our business elsewhere.

It was an excellent experience. The tech was on time and friendly.

We ordered the door on day after Thanksgiving. The door was supposed to be installed in december, but when the installer went to Lowes to get everything they didn't have the trim because Lowes forgot to order it from Pella. They ordered the trim, and the door was then installed in late January. The install was fine, but the door knob is loose already. Lowes is a bit odd to deal with. You would think you could walk in and make a purchase. But when we did they said we couldn't because our sales person wasn't there. We had to come back another day. The extra trip to lowes, and the extra month of waiting explain the low responsiveness rating. Overall it was an OK experience. We got a great price -- competitors were $1000 to $1500 more for the exact same Pella door. But we had to wait 2 months for it. I'm willing to wait 2 months to save that much.

They messed up 2 windows and one of them took it out and realized it was the wrong one so they had to put glass and patch it for like 2 weeks. They got the wrong one on another big window so we had to wait for a while for that one. Finally, they got it and they took a while to put it back in. That was a big thing for me. Aside from that, they were oaky. They replaced it eventually and were able to take care of it for me. They had good windows and they ordered the same ones another company offered to me.

It is a great store. They are very helpful I just love them. Everybody was so friendly there. They had become almost like family since I was there almost every day shopping for stuff. They knew me after a while and I knew their names. Their selection was better than other departmental store. Whenever I went in there someone took care of me right away.

I believe I told you all of this in the paragraph above. I have nothing further to add.

Everyone there is extremely friendly. There is always someone there to help you, they smile, they are pleasant, they genuinely enjoy their job. If you have a Lowe's card everything is 5 percent off. If you have a My Lowes card you can keep track of everything online. I LOVE MY LOWE'S

The overall experience was excellent.

I went to the store to pick out the carpet. While there, they wrote up the order and scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and measure the room. After the measurement, the gave me a final estimate. It was a very reasonable price, so I accepted it and had the carpet installed. The installers were professional and efficient. It only took them a couple of hours to complete the installation and it looked excellent. Everything went very well.

They sales lady was non interested so I kind of just picked what I wanted. But then on it was good. When the countertops came they were perfect and Lowes installed them for me. They didn't do around the sink, which I guess is normal and I had to hire a plumber, but everything worked out and they did a good job.

Everything was excellent. The sales person was very thorough when I made the purchase. The person that came out to take the measurements was very efficient. The installers were excellent and did a wonderful job.

Compared to other stores, they are much easier to deal with and much more customer oriented. They are priced better. I would use them again.

This was hands down the best price for a very good quality, well-reviewed, semi-custom line of cabinets. We got a good deal on installation, too, because if we went with them for install services there would be no sales tax for the cabinets (or it would get refunded, not sure of the legalities). Add that to a no payments, no interest credit card promotion, plus a rebate promotion from the supplier. At first, we were concerned that the design services wouldn t be very helpful, based on brief experiences talking with the staff in other home improvement store locations. But Bob G., our designer, was a pleasure to work with! He was very patient, careful to do accurate work, and had a lot of good ideas. It definitely helped speed the process to come in already having a narrowed down idea of what we wanted and a rough budget. Between magazine cut-outs, and being able to point to things we liked on their showroom floor, the final design was great! We also bought our appliances from them, taking advantage of one of their periodic sales. The installation of cabinets and the appliances came off flawlessly. There were some paperwork snafus, but the store manager was able to iron things out quickly. We did have to read our invoice carefully (related to the paperwork snafu...one appliance got rung up twice) and sometimes called them to remind them of some detail that needed revision. But overall those were minor, and we figured any designer would have some such issues.
