Mark was very responsive, first returning my e-mail and when I inquired about the problem and he called right away, too. Based on my description of the error message we were getting, he was able to guesstimate the problem and the cost. I saved some time by bringing my computer to him on a Friday morning. He was able to salvage everything from the old hard drive (which we had not backed up), called me to explain the problem and our options (fix the old for about $250 - $300 or go out and buy a new computer. We chose the to repair. He replaced the hard drive with a new one, and then came to our house, on a Sunday morning, installed it and then networked our four computers together and to our printer. He was very friendly, fast, responsive, and solved a major headache - having our main family computer down and out - with the school year just beginning! He was great and the price, $265, was worth it.

Called Loewy Consulting concerning a very frustrating computer situation. Explained situation to Mark, and he said he'd come by in the afternoon, which he did. He dove right in and began searching for the connection problem. All was working within an hour after his arrival. Needless to say, I was VERY happy with his punctuality, his professionalism, and his assistance. Would DEFINITELY hire Lowey Consulting again if ever needed.

Mark answered the phone call requesting help, and came over the next day. He was friendly and efficient. Three of the computers use Vista, two use Windows XP. After some time spent troubleshooting, he determined the problem with file and printer sharing on the network was due to Norton Security's firewall, which he turned off. There are still some weirdnesses with computers seeing one another reliably, but it appears that printing to the shared printer works, which was the main problem and frustration. Mark was, as I said, friendly and informative about some additional questions about home networking. He spent about 90 minutes working on these problems.

Our phone call was promptly returned with an appointment set up within 48 hours. He arrived on time and completed the work in a timely, efficient manner.

This was a great experience. Mark was easy to reach and flexible in his scheduling. He came on time and did even more work in the time he spent with us, than he had estimated. His manner was pleasant and professional. He worked quickly and expertly. At each step, Mark gave us a choice, as to whether we wanted to put his suggestions into effect or whether we wanted him to do it.

The minor glitch was due to my inexperience with PC's. I've been a Mac user most of my life. Mark, the owner, quickly fixed that and was about to charge a very small fee for my blunder. However, I asked him to go over the whole computer, tune it up, and increase it's operating speed. Overall, Mark was very punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He explained everything he was doing so I could perform most of the tasks on my own next time. He was an absolute delight to deal with.

EXCELLENT! Within 30 minutes of contacting the company, my hard drive was picked up. It was examined that morning and I was kept up to date of the status by at least 3 phone calls during the late morning, early afternoon. It was fixed and re-installed by the next afternoon and I was back working within 30 hours of my first call.

This was a lifesaver. From my initial description, Mark thought I just needed to have the operating system reinstalled. When he got the machine, it was clear the hard drive was damaged and would need to be replaced. He proceeded to do all the above work. During the process, he was very good about keeping me advised of progress, problems, etc. My computer is now running like new. All my pictures, music, etc. are intact. I feel like I got a great deal price-wise, and the "tech" guys I've told about it are surprised it didn't cost at least double. It beat the heck out of any experience I've heard about from friends of mine who have gone to Geek Squad, CompUSA, etc. I will definitely use Mark again for any computer work or advice I need.

When our hard drive crashed on Friday night, we called Loewy on Saturday morning. Mark called us right back and came over on Saturday. When he was unable to get the computer working, he took it home, backed it up and reloaded all of our software. We were back up and running in by Sunday afternoon.

It was fantastic. Mark was wonderful to deal with. He answered my e-mails immediately and we discussed the problem and selected a date within a couple of e-mails. He is extremely flexible on times and dates. He came to my house and solved my problem. It went exactly as he said. He was great, both personally and professionally and I highly recommend him to help you with your computer problems.

When I first called Mark he spent a significant amount of time helping me troubleshoot over the phone in order to save me the cost of an unnecessary house call. That was unsuccessful, so he came out on the same day that I called. Once here, he didn't take long to fix the printer issue, and since the minimum charge was for one hour he offered to work on any other computer issues we had. We certainly got our money's worth. Mark was personable, friendly, very capable, and patient with all our questions. If I could give him an A+ I certainly would.

As always, excellent service from Mark. He responded quickly to the request for a service call, arrived on time and very efficiently had the new machine up and running very quickly. That required equipment assembly, software installation and machine programming. It's worked perfectly ever since.

Mark was very knowledgeable, called letting me know he would be a bit late and was kind enough to walk me though the set up process on the phone.

Mark was prompt and friendly, and fixed both computers that are now working well. On the DVD, it's so much better than watching the VHS tapes.

He was also very flexible in coordinating his visit with my schedule. He then made a follow up call to be sure things were working well. Very available, always ready to answer your questions, gave good advice. Suggested software for remote access and helped purchase software online. Reformatted hard drive on short notice and returned computer to my office the next day. The only person I would call next time I needed computer help.

The owner of Loewy Consulting did a great job--he was friendly, on-time, gave an Angie's list discount, and was incredibly efficient. And he was patient with our level of knowledge about the way our computer works. I would certainly recommend him and use him again.
