He was patient and sympathetic with my frustrations with not knowing our password, with tech support, and with how long we had computer problems without knowing what was wrong. He charged us less than his time was worth after we realized that he had been with me for about 3 hours! It was a stressful experience for me, but for Mark I felt that he was really always in control and was able to diagnose the problems overall and give us concrete suggestions on how to fix the problems. The bottom line was that our computer problems are now fixed because of his suggestions and help.

He is very reliable, responsive, and would definitely use him again.

He's a delightful guy! He doesn't mind if you call and say that you can't do something, he'll come over. He's really terrific! He's very user friendly. We will definitely continue to use him in the future.

Mark was extremely prompt in responding to my calls. He made very good recommendations regarding changes to my computer, but was careful not to recommend unnecessarily expensive options. (For example, for my home network, he recommended only a simple Netgear ethernet switch rather than a full board.) His service was far faster (and less expensive) than similar service from Geek Squad or anything comparable, and my desktop was up and running in 48 hours.

We had been having a lot of problems with our laptop disconnecting from the wireless router and had a new desktop computer that had never been hooked up to the internet. We were happy to find Mark's company on Angies List. He was exactly the way he was described in his reviews. He was pleasant, on time, and worked very quickly. Rather then us trying to fix things ourselves, we will definately call him the next time we have computer problems.

Great. Mark came on time and quickly got to work. In the hour he was here, he not only fixed the computer so that it works like new, he re-installed the software I needed, installed a new printer, checked my WIFI security, and got rid of some equipment on my second computer that I didn't need. He also supplied a cable that I didn't have. He works by the hour, and I really feel I got more than my money's worth. I would hire him again. Absolutely.

NIC card failed on work pc- hard drive erased- called IT professional for Chicago Public Schools who said: "documents are lost...unrecoverable!" (Documents vital.... 2 yrs of work!!) Then took hard drive to geek squad tech @ Best Buy who said: "nothing on hard drive-documents unrecoverable!" Finally took hard drive to Mark @ Loewy Consulting: "It took awhile (less than a day) but I was able to recover all your work documents and copied them to disc for you!"

I was having trouble accessing certain internet sites and getting into various accounts. Mark and I went back and forth with phone calls all morning as he would suggest an idea, I would hang up and try it, and then call him back with the results. After trying different ideas of his, one of them was the right solution and it worked perfectly. Mark was very patient and even suggested other ideas to help improve my daily computer usage.

It went great and Mark was very fast at determining the issue and fixing it. While he was here, I had him install some software. He also gave me advice regarding file back-up.

Very punctual, tried hard to determine problem. Did not diagnose problem.

What a gem along with great service! Mark worked the weekend on it & delivered my computer to me early Monday ? I was so pleased. Most importantly, I felt confident in him from the minute that I talked to him. What I also appreciate about Mark is that I do not feel that he is talking a ?foreign language? to me. He is very patient & understanding with me as I?m uncomfortable with anything computer related. He seems to be interested in what is best for your computer level needs as well as being cost conscious about it. If I have any other questions, problems, I will definitely continue go to Mark again.

Mark fixed the connectivity problem relatively quickly, so I also asked for some advice on getting a wireless signal in a "dead spot" in our house. He checked out the wiring and determined that he could run a cable that would allow us to add another device to make the wireless signal stronger. He installed the new cable, we bought the device, and now our wireless works everywhere.

After my hard drive crashed I took my computer to Loewy computing and Mark saved my hard drive and the information on it. He also came several times to our house. He was always prompt and did all the work we asked for.

WE CALLED MARK AT LOEWRY CONSULTING AT 8:30 P.M. ASSUMING HE WOULD CONTACT US THE NEXT DAY. TO OUR SURPRISE, HE CALLED BACK WITHIN AN HOUR AND MADE AN APPT. TO COME OUT. HE ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME FOR THE APPT IN A SNOWSTORM! 3 HOURS LATER ALL PROBLEMS WERE SOLVED, THE COMPUTER HAD BEEN REWIRED AND MOVED TO ITS NEW LOCATION AND WE WERE UP AND RUNNING. FIRST CLASS SERVICE!

They did a really nice job. It s a one or two man show. They came when they said they would come. He knew what he was doing. He fixed up the house so that it was wireless. Three weeks later, we had another unrelated issue with the router. He came in and replaced the parts that needed to be replaced and got us back up and running. It was the same day we had the issue.

Mark was punctual, personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He dug in when initial solutions did not work and continued to work late into the night to get our problems resolved. I felt I was in good hands.

Mark is great. No b.s. Honest and good guy. Highly recommend him!

He did a great job. He came and did the job. He understood everything that was going on. They finished the work in a timely manner and I would use him again in the future.

I called and left a message for Mark in regard to upgrades we wanted to implement in our Windows 2003 Server network. Mark called back quickly, within a couple of hours. After describing our network and the changes we wanted to make, he was candid in telling me that he was not well-versed in Windows 2003 Server software, and that he was not the right person for this job.

Great. Our computer works fine and we didn't waste money on accessories we couldn't use.

He did a wonderful job. Offered me drop off or onsite service. If I dropped it off he offered to meet me half way to drop off the next day. I forgot to take coupon he said that I could mail it to him and he would honor the discount. He asked lots of questions on how we use the computer and also who is using they computer and also said for me to bring the software that I wanted reloaded. He was very friendly and polite and not at all condescending. He is amazing successful and honest. I would recommend him to everyone that walks past me. He answered the phone call on the first ring and answered all my questions during the initial phone call. When I got the computer home it didn t seem to work he spent an hour on the phone to make it work properly it was due to my errors though.

Mark replied almost immediately, while he was on vacation. He scheduled within the next week. He was here on time. He recommended against some things I asked about such as hard drive upgrade, processor upgrade, Vista, wireless. This saved me a lot of $. He did everything I asked, and quickly. I do wish however, and this may be my fault, that he explained more of what he did, particularly on tuning, & set up of wireless so I could do in future. I did not explicitly ask him, nor did I watch all the time. He recommended a specific backup product, one that I did not plan on, as I had just purchased another. I was fortunately able to get a refund, and the product he recommended does seem to work well, although I've not had to, gulp, restore anything yet.

I called Mark and asked him to look at my computer. We decided that I would drop off the computer the next day but I didn't have the time. Mark called me just to make sure I had not left it on his doorstep and it had disappeared. We reset a drop off time, although he does provide pick up service as well. His work was very timely. He called me to pick up the computer the next day. He said the problem was the computer fan was very dirty and he cleaned it and the inside of the computer. I picked up the computer and so far so good! Would definitely use his service again. Very reliable and easy to deal with.
