Evan fixed our clogged pipes, by rooting them and replacing some of them that were too old to keep working properly.

Brett was on time, courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem immediately and gave me several options for resolving the issue. He installed a similar unit but added a drain pan connected to the drain (which was not in the original installation). This is an improved installation. This installation was done perfectly. I highly recommend this company.

They were on time, and had all of the parts needed in their truck. They re-seated the toilet, resealing the wax ring. The tech was very clean, polite, explained everything before starting. Had a full chart of costs, and included pricing for "in case it was this other thing". Kept the entire area clean the entire time, and wiped everything down when done after. And even double checked his work afterwords to ensure that everything was good.

Couldn’t be happier. The install went well, and they left with no mess to clean up. I will use them again if the need is there and I have recommended to a friend as well.

I called the office around noon, Brett came out at 3 pm, finished everything within minutes, after which he went through house checking everything gas related to make sure everything worked. We also went through house discussing other potential concerns. He provided quotes on the spot that are reasonable. I couldn't ask for a better result, and will be calling Hobson Plumbing & Heating in the future.

Amazing! Brett was great. After doing a great job on the one valve he ended up giving us a discount to do the bathtub in the other bathroom. Not only did he replace valves he put a seal around it too! Would definitely call these guys again

He installed the sink and fixed an existing issue with one of the pipes that we knew about prior to calling them. The appointment was even the same day we called. Two months in and the sink and faucet are performing great. We would definitely recommend Hobson Plumbing to family and friends.

Tech came out and took a look at the affected area. He began explaining to me what he would need to do to diagnose step by step. He inspected the upstairs bathroom and saw nothing out of the ordinary and he then said he would need to cut into the ceiling which I expected would have to happen. Throughout the process he explained what the next step would be, quoted prices on the different options depending on what he found. I felt through the entire experience he was looking out for the best solution and giving me the most value possible. I had questions about my water softener and he took a look at that as well, explaining all about them, did a water test, wrote a quote for a new one as he had showed me why mine is pretty well shot. The service, the professionalism, the care taken to explain the work needed and why it was necessary was extremely caring and I felt well taken care of every step of the way. Work was done with great care to not make a mess and none was made. When it is time to get the water softener I will most certainly use this company. If I ever need plumbing service for anything, this is the company I will call.

Found Hobson P & H on Angie's List. Liked their website and the fact they are family owned. Needed to replace our 10-15 year old furnace humidifiers and sent an email to contact info on website. Also had reached out to two others but Taryn Hobson responded in just a few hours. Given it was cold spell, she was able to quote me a price that I knew was very fair. Got the install scheduled within a couple of days. Cam did the install. Very professional, called on the way, hit the time window they gave me and did excellent work. Knowledgeable, professional and did excellent work. All I can ask! Would definitely hire again!

Condensation inside a ventilation pipe in our attic was leaking through what the plumber explained was broken connection. The slow but consistent dripping had caused staining on interior drywall. When I called, the person who answered the telephone asked if my job was an emergency which it was not. A service call was scheduled for two days later. The plumber (Evan) called to inform us that he would be at our home within a half-hour which was right on the scheduled time. Evan was very courteous and covered his shoes so as not to track snow on our hardwood floor and carpet. He explained the problem, what would be done to fix the leaking pipe and what the cost would be. Evan was very courteous, the price was very reasonable, the leak has been fixed and you would not known that Evan was even there by looking at our floors. I should mention that it was winter and while the temperature outside and in our attic was in the teens the job was not rushed but done thoroughly and professionally. I am sure there are many wonderful plumbing companies out there but for me, I will no longer need to search and keep my fingers crossed; I will call Hobson Plumbing & Heating the next time I need a plumber.

Sump Pump inspection was a waste of money (I already knew the sump pump worked - I was more interested in what condition it was in). Then I asked about a battery back up that I needed set up. Guy said he would do it for $100 and it took him all of 5 minutes. Perhaps I shd have known better but I felt like I was taken advantage of...

he did a good job to replace the outdoor faucet but was in a hurry to go to his next client. the deal from angie's list included house hold plumbing check, not sure he did a good check as he was in a hurry.

I am very pleased with the professionalism, politeness and punctuality provided by Evan. He took time to explain my options in replacing a leaky outdoor spigot. Given the age of the spigot and its problem, the solution was to completely replace the assembly. I am very pleased with the approach he took in removing the old assembly given that the spot was tight and he had little room to work with.

My friend was in a situation where both sump pumps -- primary and backup had failed -- and water had started to flood her basement on a Saturday. When she called Hobson Plumbing late Saturday evening, they promptly came as promised and replaced both pumps and provided valuable advice in a cordial manner. They explained the diagnosis in great detail and went the extra mile to set a follow up assessment after a week to provide assistance for recovery and prevention of such occurrences in the future. Great experience and a highly satisfied customer.

Great overall. Thought it would be simple, but we had a finished basement and no access to inside water supply. Evan had to cut several holes in the drywall to fix. Good thing we know how to fix drywall. Evan made very clean cuts so the drywall repair was straightforward. He did a great job at explaining the work ahead of time and gave an upfront price that he honored even though he had to do a little extra work to access the line. We will certainly call upon them again should the need arise.

I have a rental unit that had a corroded metal drain and trap under the kitchen sink. My tenant called at 8 AM to notify me of the problem and by 11 AM, Evan from Hobson had completed he job. Super easy scheduling (I was texting with the scheduler while in a meeting). Evan called to give me an estimate before doing any work. Super thorough and nice. In the end, they didn't charge a nickel more. Nobody wants to call a plumber, but if you have to, Evan was great.
