John came out to my home to give me a quote. He was incredibly helpful and informative even though he couldn't service my windows because they aren't a dealer for the manufacturer. I am so thankful for his help and would use them in a heartbeat in the future.

Went great. After contacting Scientifc, Jon came out and did a full inspection of every window in my house and provided recommendations on each one. This included the recommendation to replace three picture windows - two being three panes in the front of the house. He provided a quote within hours of his visit, recommended the best windows for our situation, and had an exact match in molding for each of the windows. Jon quoted 6 week lead time, but I got the call 4 weeks later that they could install it 2 days later. The installers arrived on time, were very professional and completed the work in the amount of time they indicated. They left the house clean and orderly. After the terrible storms that passed through last night, I can say that these windows stood up to the 86mph winds that swept through Naperville. I would highly recommend Scientific!

Jon, measured each window individually and we also spent time on the outside of the house to consider options for trim as well.

Jon called back the same day and we arranged for an in-home estimate the same week. He was well versed in the company's products, explained all the options in clear, layman's terms and was able to suggest a good solution to our replacement needs. His suggestion regarding the French door was very creative and worked very well. The installation went very smoothly and the staff were very respectful of our property and our ears (no loud radios blaring throughout the day!). The work site was cleaned up completely and the entire job was completed by 3:30pm. I would recommend Scientific to anyone interested in new or replacement windows or doors. Even if they aren't selected in the end, Jon will give you valuable information with which to make an informed decision.

Scientific Homes Services were great. I needed 6 windows replaced in a rental unit. I had a fixed budget and was able to discuss price over the phone. Other companies I called would not even give me a range of possible prices over the phone. Scientific came out and the actual estimate was a bit less than we discussed. They installed the windows well within the time stated and did an excellent job. I am very happy with the 6 replacement windows for $2300 and no stress. I will use them again.

Jon came to the house and showed my wife and I what Scientific could do for us in terms of replacing our old double hung windows. After telling us about the windows that he would recommend, Jon measured our windows and provided us with a quote. We accepted the proposal and waited a a few weeks for the windows to arrive. On installation day, two installers arrived right on time and got to work. the installers worked on the windows until they were finished, cleaned up after themselves and left the house in great shape. The windows are terrific! We really love the way they look and we have gotten numerous compliments from people in the neighborhood. We left Scientific's sign on the lawn because people kept asking who did the windows. Scientific did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needed replacement windows for their home.

Messages the company and they were able to diagnose the problem. They informed me the problem was with the outside of the building and recommended I speak with my landlord. Very easy to communicate with and honest. If I needed repairs would definitely use them.

Damian and his co-worker arrived promptly, and went right to work, carefully and efficiently. I was impressed that they completed the job in appx 4 hours. They were thorough, and also took care not to disturb the neighbor's shrubbery below the kitchen window. They also left the place clean and neat. I highly recommend Scientific Home Services.

Victor was great and very helpful. We had a window that would not shut properly and leaked air all winter and summer. He knew what the problem was right away and fixed the window by maneuvering it into place. He also gave us tips on how to maintain and insulate the window. We offered to pay him for his time, but he did not charge us. We'll be contacting Victor if we have any window issues in the future. We'll also happily recommend Victor to family, friends, neighbors and colleagues.

Jon arrived promptly and was quite thorough in explaining the window he represented and demonstrated the window that would have been installed. Because of time constraints, I was unable to hire his services but I would highly recommend him in the future and I would consider his product in the future.

We were comfortable with Jon from the time we met him. He listened to our needs and concerns and did not try sell us something we did not need or want. He presented information in a clear and concise manner without badmouthing other companies as his competitors had done. (We met with other window installers who did not listen, were plain rude or proposed unreasonable quotes.) While there are many window installation companies out there, few seem to be able to afford to let their product/ work speak for itself. Jon was straightforward from the start and the installers work is evidence of the superior craftsmanship this team does. We are very pleased with the quality, functionality and the look of our new windows. The installers were always prompt, very professional and very hard working. Without reservation, I highly recommend this company for window installation as they exceeded our expectations in every way.

They did a great job. Jon came over to take a look and provided an estimate on the spot. After we accepted the proposal the final measurement was done within a week and exactly 3 weeks after that (as promised) we were contacted to schedule the installation. It took about 5 weeks from the time we accepted the proposal to have the windows installed. On the day of the installation the crew showed up on time and explained what they were going to do. They took great care to align the windows properly which was a little tricky since the window openings are wooden and old and nothing is straight. They also made sure the windows open and close properly, they answered all our questions knowledgeably, they cleaned up and hauled old windows and all debris. All in all they did a great job, on time, for a fair price. I highly recommend them and I do plan to use them again in the future.

The provider was professional and knowledgable. I just wish there was something he could have done so we didn't have to replace windows.

Came out in March to look at the windows we had. They said that with the old wood in the house they would rather put in replacement windows rather than a complete window. The installation took a little over a day and that was 4 years ago. We have had no problem with the the windows or the installation.

Great guys and worth your time if you're looking for estimates. Pella and Andersen quotes were really high and pushing for gutting larger front and side window that were upwards of $25k just for those two. Jon came up with way to cut wood in few places to keep frame intact and drop in double hungs in pattern that matched original look of windows. That advice alone saved us a ton of money. Crew did whole house in day and a half. Went with vinyl instead of wood. Soft-Lite Imperial windows from small company with solid window, great warranty and energy efficiency awards. Made a huge difference this winter. We feel really lucky to have found these guys on the website. Great work.

They cut through the chase. They gave me a very clear estimate. There wasn't a lot of pressure to get something I didn't need. Their pricing was extremely reasonable compared to the others I looked at.

We spent the winter shopping windows. We had a total of 4 bids. When we called John at SHS he called back right away & came to the house the same week for an estimate. I had a great first impression of John. He was a low pressure, easy to talk to kind of guy. He gave me the facts about his product/services & didn't try to talk me in to making unnecessary purchases. He walked me through the vinyl window options in a brochure first and I was sold before even seeing the window, which proved to be of the promised quality. For 9 windows, installation took 1 full day. Damien & his partner were very considerate of coming in to the house, taking off their shoes, moving & covering furniture. We live in an old house so the original windows were removed using a very clean, lead-safe process. Damien was very respectful, taking the time to answer questions and was very thorough. He even recaulked some of our other windows. Overall, this was a very good experience with a great company!!

Jon was professional and understanding of the situation and sensitive to the cost. He promptly scheduled a service call to address the situation. The cost was adjusted because I was a "past customer". A misunderstanding was addressed and no further issue.I was pleased with the service.

Our salesman (Jon) was prompt, courteous and professional. He gave us the information we needed without any pressure. He was done in 30 minutes! He listened well and provided clear, brief answers to our questions. He did not bash the competition while explaining the differences in their products. The Installation was done in one long day by two men who knew what they were doing. My elderly mother lives with us and it was a chilly day, so they made sure there was always a warm room for her as they went along. They were very courteous and respectful of her. They did not charge us for using an upgraded caulk that didn't smell strongly after installation. Our basement window openings were uneven and made installation challenging. The new windows look like a perfect fit. They are secured well, and you can't see the gaps due to the new insulation and trim. They covered the outside window frames, giving the outside of the house a nicely finished look. Our experience was pleasant and uncomplicated from start to finish. We would highly recommend them.

The salesman Jon was very informative, punctual, and responsive. I did my research on vinyl windows so he made sure to explain his product even better. After the deal was made, questions or concerns were addressed quickly and thoroughly. The installation crew were courteous, also punctual, and hardworking. They cleaned up after themselves well. When finished they explained how to use the windows and pointed out what they did during the installation. (I was really hoping for this.) Like most, I am usually very apprehensive about who I hire and prepare for the worst, but this experience was very good beginning to end. I know that if there any installation or quality issues in the future, they will make good on it.

I had a great experience from start to finish. Two men arrived exactly when they said they would and started work immediately. They took great care of the furniture by covering them all up with plastic sheets and cleaned up completely after they were finished. I don't think they even took a lunch break because they kept working meticulously until all the work was completed. They were very professional and cordial.

The provider did a great job sealing leaks in my windows.

Everything turned out well. They were very thorough in their assessment of the windows, they cleaned up after themselves, and the scheduling was simple. Furthermore, their work has improved the windows to a certain point. Unfortunately, they weren't as effective as they could have been due to design issues with the windows themselves.
