Fowler Lawn Maintenance

STEER CLEAR!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE (Photos could not be included because there are so many!!!). Edging - The estimate said it should be done ONCE per season. (Per his brochure!) Plus we were home on September 2, 2020. We witnessed no edging work done. Pull mulch away - Left piled up in border. He left a mound of dirt piled up creating a dam for water to not be able to drain from the foundation,(which was the reason for this to be done in the first place, per the house inspection report) Fertilize - shouldn't have been done, killing the grass Told not to fertilize as of the week of July 4th, 2020. However, He have billed us for unauthorized work. He placed the sod above grade which has rendered areas of the sod dead despite continuous watering. A Tree was installed improperly & removed making a mess. Planting a tree less than a foot below grade, and piling dirt eighteen inches up the tree trunk allowed the tree to die, even though it had been watered, daily. He came back and set two metal stakes with guide wires to attempt to hold the tree in place. Weeks later, the tree was leaning over, because of not being correctly planted. (Was charged for the tree and tree removal, [$300.00 for tree; charged $150.00 for removal]; ran over Water Main Access in Front Yard; nothing said [another landscape company stopped by to tell us what happened]; There is so much more!). I showed him all the scuff marks and damage on this tree trunk. He acknowledged this and said that "it should be okay". It wasn't. And attempting to charge us for this poor and unprofessional job with a tree that had started out being compromised. When I asked about the guarantee, he told me "ONE YEAR". It has only been a couple of months. He is trying to charge us for a hole in the ground, with a pile of dirt and refuse next to where this tree had been? What about all the watering that I have done over this summer? And for absolutely no benefit for our property. And what about the sod that has failed? What about the damage do to our fence done by his assistant in May, 2020, (he acknowledged right after it happened)?. Fraud based upon what Mr. Fowler did, (and did not) do to our lawn, landscape, and foundation work. Damage that was done by Mr. Fowler and his assistants, was not reported to property owner, and not repaired. (i. e. Ripped up Plastic Drain Tile cover, [neighbor brought pieces of the cover from her yard to us]; drove over newly seeded area with mower, would not repair; Vile language used by him during our last phone conversation. He drove over newly seeded area and killed the new grass. He told me to "F__K you" and hung up. This was after much threatening and vicious language by Mr. Fowler. Others need to be aware of his incompetence, fraud, & anger. We are having to spend $$$ to repair what Mr. Fowler has done.
