Called me back within 20 minutes and came right over. After surveying the yard give me a quote and cut the grass immediately. Would highly recommend.

Did a quick search and M&D came up immediately. I was then contacted by Mark via phone within a couple of hours to setup an appointment. Mark came over that same afternoon, took a look around, gave me a bid we agreed on and did the work starting that day. Very happy with the results, would recommend again.

Called and spoke to Mark (owner). Described job (trim 10 small Bayberry bushes, 2 Japanese Maple bushes and 2 Burning Bushes). He said on phone if 'sounded' like a $150 job and would do in two to three weeks. At 5 p.m. on night before end of 3 weeks he called and asked if they could do that evening...I said o.k. They arrived (Mark and his wife), worked for exactly 2 hours (from time they pulled up to house to time they left house). When he came to the door he asked for $475!!! Flabergasted, I reminded him of the $150 quote he gave on phone....to which he replied "that would be for a normal maintenance trim". This shocking 'bait and switch' tactic left me not knowing what to do so i paid him - $475 FOR 2 HOURS WORK. I guess I've learned the hard way not to trust anyone without a written quote...and will always insist on that in future. How Mark can live with his conscience is beyond me - at the very least he should have knocked on the door when he arrived and told me he planned to more than triple the $ charged and given me a chance to decline. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB, my husband is contemplating a small claims court action and I will likely not look to Home Advisor again for references on contractors.

I have not seen a person work as hard or as proficient as Mark with M&D Lawn Care....tremendous job and super clean up. I was so impressed that I have hired Mark to do another lawn project for me. I cannot say enough about the professional service, and excellent job that M&D did for me.......I highly recommend this company and the owner. AWESOME ALL THE WAY AROUND !!!!

Mark has been excellent in his communication - prompt and polite. They have only been out to take care of our lawn once so far, but I was very pleased with the results.

They were there on time and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. It was amazing watching their skill dropping the canopy and other large branches. They took great care to keep from damaging the house and privacy fence. Great value!

The owner was very responsive. He came quickly to evaluate the job; gave a very competitive quote on the spot; and had his work crew begin the job the next day. Despite a challenging location, they removed the trees safely and quickly, meeting all our special requests. Would use again.
