The technician was very friendly and called to let me know he was almost at my house which was very nice.

Angies list is very disorganized and not listing correctly and allow companies to list under wrong category is wrong, spend my time and money for useless site, I did better googling it

My garage door would close and then randomly reopen after it had fully closed. I couldn't figure out from the garage door manual so I called Allied since they had helped me last year with my garage door repairs. Of course it never happened when the tech was here, but since he came out it hasn't happened. He said that if it does happen again within the next 30 days, I can call them back and they will come out without another service call charge.

The service provided on 7/5/13 was the second service call because the garge door failed to open for the second time. Allied provided service approximately 2 weeks earlier. This time the opener was repaired. The prior time only adjustments were made to resolve the problem. The good: there wasn't a call out service charge for the second service. I only paid for parts and labor to resolve the problem. The bad: another day was needed to resolve the problem when it was probably evident at the time of the first service. Both service men were polite and informative. Also, I was shown the parts that failed. The total price for the repairs was $174.

My garage door was not closing properly -- I could open it just fine. The sensor on the far left side was out of alignment. The man from Allied Garage Door Repair showed up early and was able to diagnose the problem right away. He realigned the door sensor and also replaced 2 cracked door hinges that he noticed.

Provider was responsive and prompt. We have use the provider before but felt that the cost of the repair was much higher than in the past. Provider also tried to sell additional services such as new rollers, etc.

I gave them a call and they were here within a half hour. I asked how much it would cost to replace the door, because I assumed that's what they would prescribe. He said he would check everything first to make sure that it just didn't need a tune up. He replaced all of the rollers and was done in no time. I was very pleased with their service and even got a $15 discount. The gentleman that came out explained everything to me and was very nice.

After many years of service my garage door finally quit working. The service provider came out several hours after my call and quickly diagnosed the problem and bagan working on it after we agreed on the price. The service technician (Martin) replaced the gear assembly in the opener and did work on the tracks. The work was completed within a couple of hours and was done to my satisfaction.

I was treated very well. They were quick and honest. The price was good. I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. I was very happy with the people they sent out. The service man could have repaired the garage door but he was honest with me and let me know the garage door was no longer good and I would have to replace the door sooner or later. The crew was very professional and knowledgable.

On May 25, the door was replaced was done by two other gentlemen. They were very quick in replacing the metal rails, installing the door, etc. The job was done in about two hours and new door works like a charm. They went over the maintenance of the door (when to oil, how often, etc.) Allied is well-known...in a good way...among my subdivision in Warrenville. They've done several doors in the past. I would highly recommend them.

First, I had someone (Will) come out on April 7 because my automatic garage door opener would not always work. He opened it 10 times...no issues! He THOUGHT it might be the circuit board based on my description of the problem, but was reluctant to do a job that would cost over $100 without confiming it to be an issue. So, he charged for the service call at $79 (I had a $10 off coupon), wrote on the receipt that if I had the same issue within 30 days, there would be no further service charge, and the only charge would be for labor.Sure enough, in about 7 days it was up to its old tricks again. Called them up, Will came out again, and he replaced the circuit board with no labor charge.I appreciate the fact that Allied was willing to not charge for another service call if I had the issue again. Will was very professional.

Allied Garage Door was able to come out quickly to repair the garage door. They showed me everything that needed to be done, and when I agreed to do the work, they did a good job of replacing all the faulty parts. Now the garage door works properly.

Very good experience. They gave us a two-hour estimate when we first made the appointment and then called the day of the appointment to confirm it. The technician showed up on time and checked everything out, lubricated the chains, adjusted everything, checked the automatic stop. He was very professional.

The service person was on time and very courteous. I was surprised that one person could repair the garage door, since it was not budging up or down for my husband and I. The service person was very assured of what needed to be done and completed his work in approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Overall experience was A+

This company came out and gave me an estimate to repair a garage door. They told me I needed a whole new door and said they would call with an estimate the next day. I had an emergency with the door and could not open or close it properly so this wasn't going to work. I needed the work done now. I called someone else from Angies List who said they could repair it rather than replace it and they did the work for about $300.00! The door is fine now. This company did not even call me back with the estimate until almost a week later.

My experience with Allied Garage Door Company was excellent. They were responsive and punctual. They were really easy to work with. They were very customer friendly. I felt like they treat their customers like family. Everything just went really smoothly, right from the moment they answered the phone to the time they installed the door. Everybody was very professional. They were very willing to work with my schedule. I would use them again in the future.

.They were really quick. They did not say that I need to wait for three weeks and they did not have stock. They came within three days. They were very efficient, clean and did a great job. I highly recommend them. I would use them in the future.

Very smooth process to make an appointment for a service call. The serviceman called during the time frame I'd been given for my appointment to confirm that I was home and asked a couple of quick questions over the phone to assess the situation before he arrived. He arrived on schedule and quickly assessed the problem, reset the receiver and helped me to recode and test the external keypad. He also applied a discount to the cost of the service call.

Went very well. Installation is neat and installer worked with us on deciding where to run wires. Adjusted the existing door and made sure everything was running smoothly before he left.

It was an easy adjustment, I wish I saw the solution myself. He ran through the safety check to give me a little more value for the call. Thanks, you were quick and on time.

Repairman called ahead to tell us what time he would be there. He actually arrived 20 minutes earlier than estimated. Fully explained what he was going to do, was careful not to track dirt in the house and was done within 30 minutes. Very professional appearance.

The door broke last night. I called them and they said they would be out before 9:30am. They actually showed up almost an hour early which was great! the tech did a thorough inspection and, before coming up with a list of repairs, asked me how long I planned to keep the door. Once I said as long as possible he gave me his recommendations. Throughout the process he showed my why he needed to replace given parts and kept me updated on completion status. They did a great job and overall it was very a pleasant experience!

Overall, ok. There was nothing special or exceptional about the problem. They were quick to install the replacement unit. They promptly came out the day after the installation when I reported the new opener seemed exceptionally noisy. That problem was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

Got 2 estimates and Allied was cheaper w/a better door. Joe came out to show us options and provide the exact price of the new door. No estimates, which I liked. Very helpful. Called Glen at the office to schedule the install, and Rich came out and did a great job installing it.
