It was going to be $3000 and the alternator was going, and so we could keep driving it because even with the air conditioner gone, we could still open the windows. That's when we decided to get a new car. I would absolutely use them again in the future. They have been our mechanics for 20 some years.

We've been going with them for at least 15 years now. They do a very good job. They are reasonably priced. If we have something, we just simply drive our car there and is taken cared of right away.

I have been going to Automotive Specialists for 4 years now, since BMW warranty expired. Very honest, trustworthy, fair and reasonably priced.

Overall the owner and personnel are very nice. I dropped my car left a note that i need a general inspection and identify where the noise was coming from. Received a call from the owner later in the morning notifying what was the problem. The car was ready the next day due to parts that needed to be ordered.

I knew some of the little things that were due for some attention on my truck of 80,000 miles. But I went in with no appointment and asked for an oil change (I provided my own synthetic and filter) plus a thorough inspection. They took my truck into a service bay with no wait and started at once. I waited in the none-too-fancy customer reception area and about 30 minutes went by. The inspection was clearly thorough and each point that I hoped to be informed about was discovered and explained in detail plus several others I didn't anticipate. There can't be more than a couple or 3 guys that own and run this shop and I think 2 were there at the time. This is a hands-on operation, and you get the definite feeling ownership keeps a close eye on the mechanics and their work. In the final analysis, this is clearly a mom-and-pop local business, but it is also the kind that helps give small local businesses a good name.

I was new to the area. My car was stolen from my driveway and I had to purchase a different vehicle to replace it. I bought a used car, that needed some work. I saw good reviews for this auto repair shop on Angie's List. I called and they were willing to work me in to the schedule when I needed my repairs done. They allowed me to bring my own parts for the repair. When I dropped my car off for service I was told that they would need about two days to complete the work. I got a call back that evening saying that my car was done. Wow, talk about great service, especially since I did not have an appointment scheduled! They also gave my car a really good check to make sure that there was no other major issues that needed attention. There was a few issues that they found for which they gave me a quote. There was no pressure put on me to have the service done there or have it done immediately. They gave me a quote and that was it. I love the fact that unlike any other auto service or repair garage, they just gave me the facts and let me make the decision without the pressure or urgency. Auto Specialist is THE place for me for all of my auto repairs! They did a great job and customer service was excellent. I am so happy that I found them!

They were very prompt with their quote. They were upfront and honest about making sure that I understood what the quote was for. Unlike some other quotes, they didn't charge me for some work because they said they would be doing that anyway.

They also check and make sure that the safety stuff is also covered even if we go for an oil change. I would absolutely unconditionally recommend them to others. They will let us know when we need something done. But they don't sell us anything additional that we might not need. We really trust their ability as mechanics. Their price is fair.

They not only do our cars but they do our daughter's car as well. She had a problem with a turn signal indicator. The part is only about 25 cents but it would take 3 to 4 hours of labor to fix it. They suggested that if she can live with turning it on and off manually, she just do that and save the money. They have been very good on making suggestions on if we need things or if we can postpone them for a little bit. Our visits have been excellent. We go to them for any type of maintenance or oil changes. They are very professional and do things in a cost effective manner. They don't try to generate work by doing marginal repairs. We always use them.

This is a very honest shop, straight to the point. They took a few hours of free evaluation work to tell me everything was wrong....even letting me know which parts I could probably do on my own. Basically these guys are an honest, fair, and competent shop.

This is one of a dozen repairs completed over the past 10 years to my complete satisfaction. An extremely reliable and trustworthy repair shop. I've referred multiple friends who also have had consistently positive results.

They are very trustworthy and we have had an excellent relationship with them over many years. When we take the car in for an oil change, they look the car over automatically every time, and if there is something that needs to be done, they tell us about it.

Dave explained what he had checked, what was working and where the problem was. He could have sold me a new throttle assembly that would have run over $1,000 just for the part, but instead suggested a much cheaper work around with the existing assembly. His solution works just fine.

They are excellent. I have not had any problems. They get right to work most of the time on my car. I have never had to wait till the next day for my car. They are very knowledgeable.

All of our kids use them now, that is how long we have been using this company. I think that they are really honest and I trust their judgment. They are generally able to fix any problem on your car with the first try.

They are real experts. They have always been professional, friendly, and efficient. They are knowledgeable mechanics and we have been going to them for a long time. We take all of our cars there, and we would recommend them.
