Precision Door Service

It went great!!! After doing an initial assessment of the door he discovered that one of the springs was broken. He gave us a reasonable assessment of the problem. Fixed it in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the results.

Well. I have a split level house, so the floor of the second level juts down into the garage, requiring a short-travel track. This was strictly a preventive maintenance purchase, but I definitely would use them if I had a problem.

Got the big deal "tune up" and "roller replacement." The tune up was essentially a diagnostic, where the guy rightly pointed out that my garage door opener is in terrible shape and could use a $500 repair. After I explained that I wasn't going to put that kind of money into it because my garage itself is on its last legs, he pointed out one $25 part that needed replacement the most. He then replaced the rollers - which are a huge improvement over the previous ones I had - replaced the $25 part, and gave me some advice for if/when I replace my garage. In all, he was there for a total of 30 minutes. No complaints at all - roller replacement was badly needed and has been working a lot better since then.

The service man was excellent. My garage door was not closing properly and he checked all the gears and rollers to make sure they were greased and working properly. He went above and beyond!

They were responsive, showed up when they were supposed to and handled the work with ease. We originally used them when I purchased the coupon in December, and subsequently came out to fix our other garage doors in March. Would highly recommend them!

Everything turned out well. The gentleman arrived on time, acted courteously and professionally, and explained the door's problems in addition to how he would fix them. He also didn't leave behind any messes.

I tried to schedule an appointment to get an estimate on a new garage door. Unfortunately they only come out between 10 and 5 (M-F) and I don't get home until 6 pm BECAUSE I WORK!! If they came out after 5 they were going to charge me $65.00 to come out BUT would deduct that amount if I purchased a door from them. Most companies I've dealt with in the past give FREE estimates no matter what time they come out. I will NOT be using this company.

The service was okay. I didn't need a lot of work. They did what they said in the ad. They did it fine. It was best and easy. The experience was great. There was no problem. I was happy with the service. They came out right away and did it.

.The crew of 2 just left doing all that the service required and did a few minor tweaks to the garage door and gave me some recommendations about garage door care, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks to Greg Valade, job well done. great price, workmanship and a solid warranty. I am very pleased as the door works 100xs better than before they arrived. I will use them again..

He came out, let me know all that the deal was going to cover and made a very convenient appointment. He arrived on time, was very knowledgable and was the best contractor I've had in years.

My experience went well. I ended up not needing the deal, but they did advise I get a new garage door. I am going to reach out for a second opinion. However, the staff was professional and friendly while visiting.

The installer arrived on time, performed a quick inspection and completed the roller installation all in about 20 minutes. The pricing for the inspection and rollers appeared to be a little high but not unreasonable.

There were no troubles with scheduling. However, it was a waste of money. He made some recommendations that did not make a whole lot of sense or fix the repair. My sister’s boyfriend was able to come out, made an adjustment, and it has been working fine for months. The things he recommended, such as a motor replacement, were not necessary for the repair and did not make sense.

Contractor arrived on time and performed the garage door tune-up that I purchased. Some minor repairs were found and completed the same day. The contractor was very professional and did a great job

Snow was obstructing the sensor be the garage door. Technician cleaned the area as well as lubricate the mechanism

Scheduling went well and he arrived on time. I can not complain about the service. The technician was surprised the motor still worked since I have had it for about 15 years. I felt he knew what he was doing. My garage door does not go down all the way right now. I did not have that problem before the tune up. I have recommended them to others.

It went fine. the technician was very informative and gave me several ideas. he told me that everything was working well and I shouldn't have any problems. He was also very courteous. I had no problems with him. I am keeping their names for when I do have to deal with my door, i will deal with them again.

The service went very well. I had a 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. window of service and the technician came at 10:30 a.m., so they were definitely on time. The technician Adam David was very knowledgeable and he knew the operation of the door very well. Even though I have an older door, it said that it was in good shape and that he could perform all of the functions from the $99.00 deal. I was very pleased and had very good service. I will definitely use them again.

They were helpful and gave recommendations as to what I should, but unfortunately the funds to replace the spring system is unavailable at the moment. But they were honest and helpful.

Technician was pleasant and appeared knowledgeable. Fast and efficient. Only thing I didn't like was the persistent attempt to up sell me, undoubtedly demanded by his company. I also had a previous positive experience with another one of their technicians. I would use the company again, because I think the technicians are knowledgeable.

Came New Years Eve. He was very nice (Kevin) did a good job with no mess. Gave some suggestions with no pressure, I would trust him again.

They did a good service. They were on time and clean. It was a good process. I would use them again.

Precision Door Service was very responsive and prompt. The rep advised me that I would benefit from a newer torsion pulley system, new door, sensors and cables. He also gave me a quote with and without a new motor. This was more than I had bargained for. So I said that I would need to check other companies. He didn't do any work as he thought I should upgrade the torsion system at least. He also mentioned that I could contact Angie's list and get my $99 back from their online offer. After getting 2 other quotes and opinions, I was able to hire someone who showed up that same day, replaced the motor, sensors and torsion system for 50% of the cost I was quoted by Precision. I really didn't need a new door, just to "keep up with the Jones", as he pointed out that others in my alley had newer doors. Though I wouldn't use Precision because of their high prices, I was glad that he wouldn't just do the tune-up when it would've been a waste of my money when other upgrades were needed.

My door works better now. He also showed me how to do self maintenance.
