Precision Door Service

It was very, very cold day in Chicago, rather most of US. But Glen MC came on time to complete his duty. Great job done. Thanks again.

They came out but didn’t provide service due to the deal not being what I needed done. Instead of a tune up I need a whole new door replacement.

Precision Door Service was very prompt getting a service technician out to my house. Scott was the person who came out and he did an excellent job. Scott was courteous, professional and a good communicator who explained everything that would be done to our garage door. He concluded with a recap of service and thanked me for the opportunity to come out.

Provider was honest with me, and informed me that the service wouldn’t fix the problem and that I would need a new garage door. I was comfortable with him. He was honest, took his time and explained all my options.

Everything went well. They did the work as promised, I didn't have to supervise them, and the work seems to have been done well.

All was the best anyone could hope for A true professional him and the company.

First of all, I really liked that the vendor sent an email not only with day and time of service but a picture of the service person. This way you know exactly who is coming. The service professional was on time and courteous. Of course had the problem fixed in just a "turn of a screw"!! But also adjusted the door so it came down more. The only thing I didn't like is he tried to up sell to an $800 "fix". But I did tell him no and didn't get any attitude with my negative reply. He continued to replace the rollers and grease all necessary parts. Work was completed in a timely manner. He explained everything that was done in a professional manner.

Service man came out. Said the original garage door installer did shoddy work. Used cheap materials and cut corners. Wanted me to do a complete over haul of the garage door. $600 vs the 99 I paid for a tune up and new rollers. Said I would need to think about it and would be calling the original installer AR Be doors about warranty.So I just got the rollers I was supposed to get and tune up. Lubricate and such. I had AR be doors come out for a recheck and estimate/ service provider said no lubrication where it was supposed to be. I did not mention anything about it. Ar be came out rebalanced my door lubricated and checked that all was good. He said it was. Door is fine should last a few more years before I would need to think about needing anything and did not charge me.

Initially, I had a problem with getting the garage overhead door to close. The service Rep did some minor adjustments free of charge, and now it works perfect. He also gave me a cost analysis for future repairs. He was honest, neat, professional and informative. I will definitely use this company again.

The tech was very nice and personable. He encouraged me to take advantage of a big deal offer that would save me $200, which I really appreciated. The job itself went well, was completed in a timely manner, and I have no complaints.

He did good. He just didn’t come back when he said he was going to come back but that maybe a miscommunication. He did what he was supposed to do. I needed one more thing done and he was going to come back that next weekend and never did. The service I purchased, he did very well. I needed the bottom thing done. Mine was cracked so he was supposed to bring a new one and never showed up. That was a subsequent act when he got here what else I needed. It was great. He showed up on time. I was very happy on that. He came in and went out and gave me information that I needed. The price was great. I checked other similar things and it’s on the same price range.

The guys were great and honest, it was bit difficult scheduling but the job was well done and they gave me a honest evaluation.

He arrived on time (called ahead). Very professional and nice job.

The technician was very professional and and provided good quality workmanship.

Everything went well and as expected. Gave good suggestions for future maintenance we can do ourselves

Replaced the rollers but thought they would also adjust the door? Did exactly what the tech said they do....change the rollers

They responded right away and came out to look at my garage door. They want to replace it and I declined as I just want the roller replacement and the tune-up. The technician said they would come back to do the services I wanted. They have not come back or called me. I have contacted them multiple times and have been told I need to speak with the owner but he is never available and has not called me back. They seemed to only be interested in upselling me on a new door then completing the work I wanted done. I may consider contacting them for an estimate if I do replace the door but would not contact them for repair work.

It went very well. The technician was prompt and very courteous. He was very efficient and did a fantastic job. The door is very old and he explained what to expect in the future. the door now opens smoothly. We are very pleased and will definitely use them in the future.

I feel bad that I waited this long to do the review as the gentleman who came out was so very polite and courteous. He went through a full explanation of the old door system (it was ancient) and the new system he wanted to install. What I also greatly appreciated is that he did NOT try to sell me a new garage door as a few others had suggested. He completed the work same day and I have had no issues with my garage door sense. I would use this company again and strongly recommend them.

Customer service on the was awesome and Steve was awesome as well.

He was a very nice guy. Very detailed in what he did. Showed and explained to me everything that he did. I was very pleased with him!

Garage door works beautifully now. Opens and closes quietly and with ease. Serviceman was punctual, quick and efficient and took time to explain what he was doing.

I have wood doors and they do not do a lot of work with wood doors. I need a specialist.
