I called around noon and asked the representative about their services. He explained the treatment's cost and effectiveness. Based on the Angieslist reviews, I decided to go ahead. They were able to arrange an appointment just a few hours later. The technician was right on time, and it took him about 30 minutes to assess and treat the ant problem. It was completely effective - we haven't seen a single ant since then. A minor issue: the phone rep said there would also be an outside treatment. However, the technician said it was still too cold - below 40 degrees - and the treatment would break down and not be effective. So he promised to return in early April when it's warmer, to do the outside treatment. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly.

I signed up for an annual service. They were very responsive. The technician that came was really great. He was a nice guy and explained well everything that he was doing. We are still seeing some ants but he said it takes a little while for the liquid to take effect. I don't honestly know what the results are yet. They were very personal and professional but the effectiveness is still TBD. I got a quote online from another company and I was a little disappointed to see their price. I kind of think I got ripped off but they seemed really nice.

I was very happy with them. They showed up promptly and gave me same day service. They showed up when they said they would show up. The guy was very professional and very good about explaining the products that he was using and what results I should expect. I would highly recommend them. We have a dog and the chemicals were safe. I didn't shop around for prices. I would absolutely use them again.

Carpenter ants started taking over our house despite trying to use store bought traps--so I contacted Quick Kill. I filled out an online form through their website on a Friday morning and recieved a call that afternoon--an appt. was set for the following Monday. They showed up right on time and explained what they were going to do. We saw an immediate decrease in the ant sightings--seeing maybe one or two the few days following treatment, where we were seeing about 40 a day before Quick Kill treated our house! We plan to sign up for their quarterly service.

They were prompt and seemed to like their work. They were knowledgeable about the habits of spiders. They were very courteous and on time.

I was told that I could receive effective service for $395 that would come with a 30-day guarantee. I suggested that a winter service, when the ants were mostly dormant, might not be effective and that a 30-day guarantee might not be enough to ensure that the nest was dead. I was assured that a winter treatment would work. I have subsequently continued to do research, and I am now quite convinced that a winter treatment for carpenter ants is likely to be ineffective, as the ants metabolism is slow, and the will not absorb enough chemical. I feel that the response I received was dishonest and would have led to the need for a second treatment.

Very good service. Clean (used booties once in our home), punctual, pleasant; Brian answerd our questions and gave suggestions for moving things in the basement and garage to remove rodent hiding areas. Although more expensive than the externinating company we previously used, they have been more successful and punctual.

On first vist, they came in quick response to a call and after a thorough approach, all traces of the mice disappeared. I have since hired them on an annual basis for pest and rodent control, I was initially intrigued by the name...they are what they say no misleading or obfuscating terminology...and found them to be courteous , responsive and effective in what they do. The cost of $560 a year is well worth the investment

I no longer have wasps in my walls. They are very professional, efficient, and reasonably priced.

We'd seen evidence of field mice in our crawl space and dropped attic ceiling, but our attempts to trap them conventionally wasn't working. Plus, we wanted to find out how they were getting into the house in the first place. We called, and they sent a technician out the next day. He surveyed the house, inside and out, set sealed bait in likely places, and set a glue trap in the attic ceiling as well. Then he surveyed the exterior of the house and stuffed steel wool into some small holes he found. The following week, he came back by to check the bait and traps, and to show us where the small holes were so that we could fill/seal them more permanently. No sign of any mice in the intervening week, and the Quick Kill folks, from receptionist to exterminator, were friendly, prompt and professional.

The owner himself came out right away after the call. He was very professional and personable. He loves Angie's list! He saw our horrible carpenter ant infestation and told us how long he thought it had been there (years). He recommended a treatment in the localized area and also a whole house treatment. We went with the whole house and the focused area. The infestation was under the siding, so a few days later we pulled off another section and found more ants. They came out to treat it immediately. We have noticed more ants died later after the whole house treatment set in (slow acting vs. the focused treatment). Overall we had a very good experience with them!

This company came to take care of the problem within hours of my request. The fee was very fair, the service prompt and very professional!

I called late on a Saturday afternoon after finding numerous bees in my bedroom. Mark came out in about an hour and sprayed that site and a nearby ground hive. As before, he was prompt, professional and very friendly. Definitely recommend.

One Friday night, my wife and I heard the patter of tiny feet in our attic and south wall of our upstairs area. Thinking that it might be mice, we contacted Quick Kill Exterminating Company on the next morning. I spoke with Mark Payne (the owner) and arranged a visit for that same morning. Interestingly, I contacted my wife (who was at work) and told her the name of the company. Someone in the waiting area heard the name as she repeated it and offered the unsolicited comment: "Great company - you can't find any better!" This was encouraging and Mark lived up to the testimonial. He came promptly, inspected the house completely, set traps and bait packets, and inquired about the presence of pets (we have a small dog). He explained the nature of the treatment and scheduled a follow-up visit for the next Friday. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and informative, not to mention the fact that the problem was addressed successfully. I would recommend Quick Kill to anyone who has needs an exterminator.

I felt that the experience went very well! Since I am a senior citizen, I was grateful for a discount as well as the services he provided at no charge. Although I rarely sign up for service contracts, I did so in this case for the peace of mind that 3 more quarterly inspections will bring. (Cost - $115 each payable at the time of inspection.)

We have used them for over a year now for quarterly sprayings. In the past year we have not had any problems. They call to schedule service each quarter, and are very ameniable to my ever-changing schedule. If the baby is sleeping, Tim is extra quiet when going upstairs or spraying in the adjoining rooms. He even removed a wasp's nest in my backyard without a second asking. I am very happy with this company.

We were happy with the work. I used a 20 percent discount from Angie's List. We mainly saw them under the sink and that is where I mainly was catching them. He has an adhesive that the mice stick on and we haven't had any other problem. I didn't get any second opinions so I thought the price was reasonable.

Everything went extremely well. Mark was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about his field. He fixed the problem and even through in an "extra" by taking out a few small paper wasp nests outside our townhome. We would not hesitate to call him again.

A friend recommended this company when I was complaining to her about how the exterminator I was using couldn't seem to get rid of our carpenter ants. I called when we came back from vacation and saw about 20 dead yellowjackets on our family room floor. Mark showed up during the scheduled window, listened as I told him the history of the ant problem and showed him where we were finding the yellowjackets. He asked a few questions, looked around outside and then explained where he thought the insects were coming from and how he would treat them. As he looked around, he told me he saw some evidence of mice, so he put out bait for them as well. The ant treatment involved drilling small holes above the baseboards and putting some sort of powder in. Since the treatment, I haven't seen a single ant (or yellowjacket) and couldn't be more pleased. This is the third exterminator we have used, and I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money on the first two.

We noticed a number of yellow jackets flying outside the guest bedroom several weeks back. We previously knocked off a small hive being formed at the corner of our garage door, so perhaps these were the same wasps looking for a new home. It did look like they were probably interested in building a nest based on the number swarming about, but since I couldn't see any visible nest being formed outside the window, I didn't give it too much thought... until two days ago, when I heard some strange crackling noise from our upstairs hallway. I was puzzled as to where it was coming from; was it the floorboards creaking underneath the carpet? Was it some static noise coming from somewhere? Well, I traced it to the guest bedroom ceiling. I looked out the window, and there were yellow jackets swarming all around! I went outside to take a better look, and noticed that they were crawling into our walls through cracks between the brick and eaves/roof overhang. The crackling noise I heard through the walls were the yellow jackets buzzing and flying about within our walls. I called Quick Kill, as we used them previously for mice before we moved into this house. They were able to come out the same day. Mark showed up in the afternoon within the 3 hour window specified (though we were told he would call 15 minutes before, but we didn't receive a call). We were home anyway, so it didn't matter much. He went to work right away: climbed out our son's bedroom window to spray the exterior where the yellow jackets were entering/exiting. Then he went into our hot attic to address the problem from the other end. He asked us to tap the bedroom ceiling where the buzzing was, and he was able to locate the yellow jackets. He reported that he could see them all over, and used a powder to exterminate them. Apparently the powder gets on the wasps and then they fly away and die. The hive was apparently beneath the attic floor (out of sight), so he wasn't able to remove the hive, but he assured us that everything was taken care of. Indeed, the number of yellow jackets flying outside the window were significantly diminished after he left, and as of the next morning, no wasps have been seen anymore.

We saw a mouse on Thursday and desparately wanted someone that day. After calling a half-dozen firms on Angie's List (two of which we had used before), Quick Kill was the ONLY one that agreed to come at 8:00am the next morning. They were prompt, pleasant & courteous; very tidy, always cleaning-up when opening attic doors and dust/dirt fell. He was very thorough; he opened every attic entrance, and scoured the house, garage and around the grounds. Very professional, and scheduled to come back in a week to check progress; he even offered that we could call if our individually-placed traps caught any rodents in the meantime.
