After noticing a few carpenter ants in my home this year, and finding thru research that if they are in your home you have a nest somewhere I researched companies on Angie's list. Quick Kill had a very good rating and I decided to try them. After finding out what I was calling about the customer service person inquired if I would want/need someone at my house that day- which although I didn't, I loved that I could have had someone respond that quickly. We set a date for when I wanted them to come out. The service technician arrived on time, was extremely polite, explained what he was going to do and then proceeded to do the job. At the end he did ask if I was interested in a routine maintenance, I replied I was not, and with no further push he simply said "ok". Explained that if I saw any ants after 3-4 weeks that they would come out and retreat within 30 days. I was very happy with the overall experience. I even recommended the service to my parents a few days later. I only rated them a B for price as I was not expecting the service to be that much- I do not know how they compare to other companies as I did not shop this service around. All in all very happy with the experience.

I was very impressed with the service provided by Tim. This company returned my call immediately and was able to send out a technician the same day. Tim was prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable about different species of ants. It has been almost a month since Tim's visit, and I haven't seen an ant since. Also, the chemical that Tim uses is not toxic so my little dog and family have had no reaction to his visit. The price was a bit high, actually double what I paid last year from a different service; however, Tim sprayed the entire house, which could have made a difference. I would HIGHLY recommend Tim's service. Thanks so much Tim for getting rid of this pesky problem in my home.

I have used Quick Kill for years. They have helped us with general extermination, ridden our home of fleas, and other critters. Brian is the one who comes to our house. When he called me on Saturday to schedule our routine maintenance I told him I just found out that our basement had flooded in the recent storm. My husband was out of town and the water remediation people were swamped with calls. Brian offered to bring me a pump and dry-vac to help empty out the basement water. It turned out that I found a flood/water remediation company - through Angie's List - so I didn't need his help but I will not forget his kindness. Just wanted to let you know. By the way, they also are great at extermination!

They are really good. Actually, they found the carpenter bees at our quarterly service; we didn’t even know what was causing the little holes. They came back to do a separate service when we noticed more of them. They do our quarterly and they are really good not to get the spraying things onto our personal things. The workers that come out are nice. They are professional. It is like a family business. When I pay for the work, they guarantee it for a year; if we saw anymore, we would not get charged again, but we haven’t seen anymore. I would recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

The exterminator arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was thorough (covered all areas of the house, both inside and out).

It was a good experience and they were able to take care of the problem. They are an excellent company and provide wonderful service.

Was having trouble with carpenter ants. Quick Kill came out and did a thorough and professional job. We were having ant sightings DAILY and as soon as they finished the treatment, we have not seen a single ant yet and it has been almost two weeks. Highly recommended. Only gave them a "C" on price b/c I thought $395 (minus $20 angies list discount) seemed a bit expensive for a one time treatment that is only "guaranteed" for 30 days (unless you go on their routine maintenance service) but I believe they are probably competitive. Highly recommended.

They came out once. It has been good so far. We have signed a contract with them to come out again. They were very nice. The person who came out explained what he was doing and we really liked that. I don’t know about the price and I guess it is same as everybody else. They were very responsive and punctual too.

We had ants coming into our family room all weekend. We sprayed and put down powder outside (couldn't use poison inside due to pets) and they just kept getting worse. Realizing we need professionals, we found Quick Kill on Angie's List. They came out on Monday (we called them over the weekend) and they quickly diagnosed and cured the problem. They did try to get us to sign up for regular service which we refused but there was no pressure. The work is guaranteed for a month. The service tech was very good and professional. While we hope not to need them in the future, we will use Quick Kill again if the need arises.

Great! Even used the angie's list discount. Easy to book appt, technician was friendly and efficient, and offered a subscription service but didn't try to "sell" me which I appreciated.

We had a problem last year with carpenter bees. They do a great job of getting rid of the carpenter bees. I get excellent production.

This company is family and owned. You can tell from the first phone call they are dedicated to their customers and take pride in their work. The lady who took the service call was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about our issue. They were able to schedule me for the next day. Jon came out promptly at the scheduled time. He was very thorough and took the time to explain my problem and necessary treatment. He also gave me the entire background on the company which I appreciated. I appreciated that they stand by the work. I also signed up for the quarterly service, which will cover me in between visits if there are additional problems. I found their pricing to be more than reasonable.

Called about a mouse problem we noticed, with some droppings in the kitchen/pantry, and an actual sighting in the pantry. They came out within a few days, were on time and professional. They did a complete assessment, inside and out, and recommended putting out some mouse bait/poison in the attic, and some adhesive traps in the basement and the kitchen cabinets. They were very thorough, and were careful to avoid using toxic agents in areas where our 3 year old might wander. Within a few days, we had a few mice on the traps, and no more droppings or sightings since! The Quick Kill man came back a week or two later, cleared the traps and set out some more, but we've had no troubles since.

They seem to know what they are talking about. They are friendly and reliable. I am using them and will be using them in the future.

Called, explained the problem and that I had twin 7mo old girls and three dogs, they set up an appointment that day, Jon showed up a few hours later and did the work. Like that it is a family run business.

. They did both interior and exterior of the house. We had just moved into the house and discovered that we had a real ant and spider problem. They came immediately. It was good timing because they were in the area and they used spray. They also used non toxic material. They did a good job. They explained everything to us and they offered us a quarterly service at a very reasonable price.

The experience overall was extremely poor. We still have a mice problem and need to call other exterminating company to deal with the problem. When the technician came out the second time to remove the traps I needed to tell him where they were. He was in a rush and did not check the problem areas until I asked him too. He even left one of the traps behind. They did not catch a single mouse.The very next day Ia saw mice dropping and a live animal on our second floor. I immediately called to see if they would return to our house but they refused. When I explained that I had seen an animal near my 19 month old daughters room the response was that I should put a glue trap in her room. They then told me that the mouse probably got the bait and would be in our walls. Again, refused to come out for another week saying that it would take that long for them to die anyway. We continue to see more mice and dropping. We have gone out to get our own traps and bait, costing more money, and have now resorted to hiring another exterminating company. Since Quick Kill has come to our home the problem has gotten worse not better. This has caused a great deal of stress as we have a young daughter and two dogs and have not solved the problem. We will not use this company again and will not recommend them to anybody else.

They were very good, responsive, and the price was good for what they did. It is good to work with them. They are on time, professional, and quick.

They are affordable. Their service technician is very nice. I think that they do a thorough job. It is easy to get along with them.

I spent $150 on that work. We had to call them again because the first time they got rid of the ants and they came back in another place.

They did a great job. They came out the day we called and the company rep arrived right on time. Used treatments that we feel comfortable having in our house with a cat, a 2-year old, and a newborn. They also gave us information we needed before they left, like the fact that we may see a bunch of ants crawling around where they sprayed for the next few days. That info allowed us to not be worried when for the next couple of days, sure enough, we saw ants crawling where they had sprayed. Then they died. They also offer a program where they come back and spray every 3 months, which we signed up for but felt no pressure to do so. If the work they just did doesn't take care of the ants, we can call them back within 30 days and they'll address the problem again for free.

The work they do is good. The guy who comes is extremely friendly. He is very sweet and plays with my kids. They are responsive, friendly, and thorough. They are reasonably priced. I would use them in the future.

I called 4/5/2011 to request service for an ant problem. The woman answering the phone was pleasant and polite and had someone they could send out the same day. I couldn't do it that day but scheduled the appointment for the next day. The tehcnician was on time, explained the procedure and everything he would be doing, and finished his work efficiently. He explained the cost of a quarterly service agreement but I felt absolutely no pressure to purchase the extended service. They include a 30 day guarantee witht the initial service. I would definitely use this company again.

Tim came out the day after I called and even changed his schedule to accomodate mine. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt he was careful with the pesticides and respected my concern about using them in the house with children and pets. I would use him again.

They came the next day at the appointment time and spend over two hours diagnosing the problem and treating it. They will come back in 30 days if I see more ants, or if the problem is not resolved I will go on the maintenance program
