Description of Work: I used these guys in 2010. I took in a bunch of cylinders to be rekeyed. They were friendly and quick. I know that the price was much less than if I had them come to me, but can't really comment on whether they were competitive or not. They've been in business since I can remember. Their store isn't much to look at but they do good work.

Description of Work: I called and made an appointment for someone to come out. I was desperate to get the front door lock repaired, so was willing to pay the service charge to drive from Glenview to Wilmette. I questioned that. No one showed up after an hour so I called AAA to find out what was happening. Appointment was made for Friday. I was told that someone would be out within an hour. I received a call from AAA telling me that no one was able to come out that day and they'd be able to come out on Monday since they do not work on Saturday's. No apologies. No thank you. I'll take my business elsewhere.

WE CHANGED OUR MINDS THREE TIMES ABOUT WHAT WE WANTED DONE AND THE SERVICE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS VERY PATIENT AND HELPFUL. TOM WAS THE PERSON WHO CAME OUT TO REKEY THE LOCKS AND ADVISE ON SECURITY IN GENERAL AND WAS HONEST AND HELPFUL. MY SISTER AND I WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND THE PATIENT SERVICE! WE WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. I WANT TO EMPHASIZE JUST HOW PATIENT THE SERVICE PEOPLE WERE!!

 + -1 moreTHEY MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN TO PUT THE KEYS IN THE BAG WITH THE LOCKS, AND WHEN I WENT TO INSTALL THEM A FEW WEEKS LATER, I NOTICED THE KEYS WERE NOT IN THE BAG. I BROUGHT THE LOCKS BACK IN AND THEY CREATED KEYS FOR ME FOR NO CHARGE WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
