Overall the experience was good. Terry and his son Jody are great guys. I came in with lots of ideas and they were very open to them all, they also reworked some of them when they could not be done. It was really nice to have knowledgeable and energetic guys working on the job. It was also nice that Jody was here a great deal of the time doing the work. CCCM does not subcontract out their work, or at least not mine. The guys were also very flexible with changes that needed to be made mid-job. The workers were easy to communicate with and I totally trusted them with the job, and even watching my dog while they were working. We did have an issue at the end of the project that required a large amount of re-work. Terry and Jody were here the next day tearing things up getting to the bottom of the problem. They fixed the problem and never tried to blame me for the issue (even at the discovery of the problem, they wanted to fix it first, then decide what happened, it was their fault, but they did not let them hinder them in their earnestness to complete the job to my satisfaction). Terry and Jody assured me this had never happened before. If I had not been unemployed and available for the guys to be here whenever, and if he we did not have a second full bathroom, the length of the project may have been a real issue, but since these were not issues, I don't want to complain, but it could have been an issue. The bathroom came out great, and apart from the lead time and time to complete, I am very, very happy.

It well very well, everyone was very professional and friendly. They cleaned after themselves everyday. They're always willing to listen, and offer suggestions. They worked very hard to make sure everything will work properly. They take their time to make sure it's done correctly. These guys are definitely the people you would want to hire, since they're very pleasant to work with. They would go out of their way to please their customer.

Excellent job overall. Looks like a new house. Given the type of job, the in progress amount of debris can be shocking, but clean up was excellent. Completed 95% of job in single day since they came with a large crew. Have used these guys before for many home improvement needs, they continue to do a good job and never disappoint. CCCM helped with a number of material options and went the extra mile to procure attractive pricing.

They were very friendly and fair. I would use him if I had any plumbing needs. They were very knowledgeable. They saved me a couple of hundred dollars.

We interviewed several contractors before finally deciding on CCCM. Since our budget was tight, Terry agreed to let us do some of the work, such as demolition, flooring, and painting. He also gave us direct access to some of his suppliers in order to get special pricing on some materials. After months of planning, we were ready to have them start - but had to wait to fit into their busy schedule. The time came - and they actually started work on Christmas Eve for a half day. Jody, Kevin, and Brian came on time every morning, and cleaned up before leaving each night. Jody and Kevin answered any questions we had each morning, and offered suggestions if they had any concerns. Jody had some good ideas regarding the cabinet layout, lighting and electrical. After we installed the flooring, they came back to finish the kitchen in April. We're glad that Terry was flexible enough to let us do some of the work, which he normally doesn't do. Overall, we have a beautiful kitchen, and would work with CCCM again.

Just a follow up from my last report to show how great this company is. After CCCM remodeled both our bathrooms, my wife and I decided to change shower heads to a shower head with extension to make it easier to give our daughter a bath. We attempted to do this ourselves and found that the original shower head to the pipe was tight and we were afraid to do damage. We called Terry and he immediately emailed and said he could come over to help us with this. He and his son came over the next day, helped me with this and even re-applied some caulk in the other bathroom.

There are a lot of things that stood out with Terry and his crew. Here is why our experience was a very good one: 1) He gave many instances of advice throughout the project. For instance, he recommended picking tile out at his preferred dealer. We realized what a benefit this was, since the selection was huge. What ended up happening is my wife and I picked out some tile, brought it back and his crew thought that it would not look good and they were absolutely right. We ended up picking a new tile and were grateful that his crew did not just blindly install what we had initially picked out. 2) Their crew was very friendly, polite, polished, and professional. They listened to you, and you felt like each was a personal consultant through each step of the way. 3) They worked fast. Not to say we want someone necessarily doing such important work fast, but they have done this so much it appears, that it's just routine and again. 4) Terry uses quality materials. Especially on the tearing down walls in both bathrooms, and re-building the wall, he went through the process of why this wall will never fall again, or risk becoming damaged due to water damage in the future. I now have solid walls that are waterproof, and the way it was installed which I was briefed on extensively, makes me feel 110% confident. 5) Throughout the process, I always heard from Terry that if we are not happy to let him know at any time. You usually never hear this in the 2 times we have hired other contractors. He would ask us repeatedly if we are happy with what was done each day something was being worked on and made sure it was to our satisfaction. He also told us numerous times, after we pay, if anything has issues to call him and any issues would be corrected. He was persistent on making us happy. 6) Even though we paid a little more, we would never go to anyone else. We feel so happy on what was done and confident it's going to hold up. 7) He's fun to talk to!

Terry and his crew are amazing. I knew about them from the work they did at my daughter's house. They are the best workers I have ever had at my home. They are on time and professional. There everyday, all day until the job is done. Their work is beautiful. Real quality. Jody, Kevin and Brian are great and easy to be around and have great ideas. And one of the best things about CCCM is the communication. Terry is always available via phone or email. I would always get a call or email, sometimes within minutes. I feel that that is key when running a business. You always have to feel that you are important to the contractor no matter how small your job is. This company is the best and I will definitely use them again.

When CCCM/Terry started to work on our bathrooms, we thought it would be a bad scenario because after starting to regrout in one of the bathrooms, water damage was found all the way to the siding (The other bathroom was completed as promised). We were thinking we would have to pay thousands to fix this problem. But Terry worked very hard with our insurance company to make sure that they would cover this and not only was the problem fixed, but we got new siding, a new bathroom with new tile, shower door, shower valve. Although we had to pay for our deductible on our insurance which we included on our approximate cost (we had never had a claim on on our home insurance before), we were more than happy with the results and got way more than what we paid for. CCCM & Terry our honest and good contractors. They got our work done before our baby came and did a great job. He even cared enough to ask how our baby was when it was born.

Team deBartolo is a pleasure to work with. Work was done on time and on budget. Workspace was kept extremely clean.

I called early Sat., Mr. DeBartolo came over within an hour, fixed everything and could not have been more gracious -- a terrific person and an excellent plumber!

Terry and his team do outstanding work at reasonable prices. Their advice is excellent and they have sources that provide wonderful quality at a low price. You have to wait for the project to start, but once started, everything is completed quickly and promises are kept. Yes the project expanded as we worked with Terry but the additions are things that we really love and might have overlooked without their input. There was never any pressure to add anything, just suggestions that we really appreciated. We ended up with better than we could have imagined. We were also impressed with all the effort that was made to keep things clean and to protect everything throughout the project. A day was never completed until the crew cleaned up. We can't recommend them highly enough and would not even consider anyone else if we ever have another remodeling project. We were out of town for 3 weeks during the project and were completely comfortable giving their crew access to our house.

I have not begun my project yet, but I already have another question for Terry. He has gone way above and beyond what I would expect from a contractor that I have never met and may never meet.

Terry spent 20 minutes on the phone giving me free advice, just to make sure I wasn't going to get ripped off. I wish I had gone to him for my rooting problem. Mr. Rooter charged $340 for that, CCCM would've been at least $100 less. Anyway Terry advised me not to dig until spring because it would be much cheaper. He explained to me that Mr. Rooter had to give a 90 day warranty on their service, so I did not have to act right away on the digging. I am likely to have Terry come out in spring for the major project and wish I'd called him for the rooting.

If you read any review on CCCM, let it be this one. On a Sunday night during a holiday weekend in the dead of winter, we experienced an unknown electrical issue that warranted a visit by the local fire department. After determining that there was no fire, we were left with a house without electricity and therefore no heat. While our first call was to the fire department, our second call was to Terry DeBartolo. To be honest, we thought there was absolutely no hope of finding an electrician who would interrupt their holiday weekend at 7:00 PM on a Sunday to repair our electricity. Terry called us back immediately and, as always, he came through for us. Terry arranged for a qualified licensed electrician to come to our home immediately to restore the electricity to our home. The electrician was wonderful and explained exactly what had happened and corrected the issue. Without Terry and CCCM, my family would have been displaced for the evening. CCCM is simply the best!

The owner Terry Debartolo is the most conscientious contractor I have ever worked with. He works with you from start to finish step by step even meeting you at the tile and granite stores assisting with ideas from his 30+ yrs in business. Extremely helpful. His employees including 2 sons are all top shelf. Son who redesigned kitchen has architectural background and as his father works with you and has terrific ideas. His carpenter does excellent work. It is clear that Terry and his employees are out to give you the absolute best for your money. They are also conscientious about cleaning up each day to leave your home in as nice a condition as possible during construction. Terry will absolutely not tolerate substandard workmanship from his employees. He regularly asks you if there are any problems, which are virtually nonexistent, but if something arises he sees that it is taken care of immediately. You will NEVER find a better contractor. I am so grateful to Angie's list!

The company is fantastic. The crew is knowledgeable. They show up every day. There work is exemplary. The job was left totally clean. They cleaned up everyday. The owner always returns phone calls. They follow up to make sure everything is going smoothly.

After checking out a couple different Angie's list vendors, I quickly chose CCCM as the right people for the job. As mentioned in the other reviews, this is a family company where father, son, and friends work closely together to please their customers. Both Terry and Jody, father and son, are not only professional remodelers, but great people too. Kevin and Brian appear to be family friends are just as nice. The easiest way to describe the kind of work this group does is to say that they put the same effort and dedication into designing and creating your bathroom as they'd put into their own. When picking out pieces for the bathroom, they were more particular than I was. Any problem that came up was remedied without pause. I ended up with an amazing bathroom. The most revealing thing I can say about them is that they will be hired back for every remodeling job I ever do while I'm in the area. Then I'll have peace of mind of knowing that I'm getting the best work possible.

Our roof started leaking after so much rain recently, and eventually the ceiling started to leak in one of the bedrooms. We had someone give us a quote for a new roof, but when Terry came out to look at the ceiling damage, he also looked at the roof. He told us what we could do temporarily to repair the roof, which cost us hardly anything! He saved us a lot of money, since we were about to get a complete new roof, now we can wait one to two years. He is still coming back to repair our ceiling and also we are having him do the new driveway.

Terry was very responsive to our initial request for estimates. He offered the best examples of work on homes similar to ours. Throughout the process he was great to work with. He gave solid guidance on sources for each item and was able to get many things using his discount and did not mark anything up. He was also helpful in determining when the estimate would increase because we selected different options than stated on the original request. He paid alot of attention to detail - returning after the job to adjust a washer in the new shower fixture and touch up paint around a door. His team found creative ways to work around an unexpected issue that impacted the layout of one of bathrooms. Overall, we are very pleased with our new bathrooms and experience was very smooth for the size of the project.

Terry is the most communicative contractor I have ever worked with. He maintains contact through phone and email, and writes a very detailed contract. I knew exactly what was and wasn't included in his quoted price. Due to it being an old house and not knowing what problems they might run into, Terry didn't quote the cost for the electrical and plumbing work. "You'll have to trust me," he said. His crew tracks the hours they spend on the various tasks, and I believe the final price was fair. They have developed a good system for keeping the work moving. Terry makes all the runs to the various stores while the crew keeps working. They do one job at a time. From start to finish the job took just over 2 weeks. Unlike other contractors I've worked with, they clean up the room every day. Terry also corrected the cabinetmaker's mistake at no extra cost. They have a long waiting list, but it was worth the wait.

This is a follow-up report from April. CCCM finished the remodeling job on our townhouse ahead of schedule allowing us to list it for sale in May. We signed paperwork on a Saturday and by the following Thursday we had a written offer. Unfortunately the financing fell through just before the scheduled closing. Now that we are back on the market, we are encouraged because we continue to get positive comments on the the quality and appearance of the work that CCCM performed. We are now looking to hire them again to work on our present home for a new kitchen, new bath and general remodeling, which will include removing walls, updating wiring and replacing flooring. We have a lot of faith in their abilities as we have seen first hand their workmanship.

I didn't think customer service like this still existed!!! Before setting a date with CCCM we had an issue with the countertops, Terry told us he could get them for us and he did exactly that, saving us over $1000.00. Jody and a few guys came installed all the cabinets in one day. Additionally, Jody was able to figure out how to install new laminate flooring and it looks flawless like it was always there. The lighting turned out awesome as well, we added four can lights, three pendants we also had Jody tape and Spackle and sand the ceiling which wasn't originally part of the deal, but he did it and in the same time frame. He knew exactly where to place everything. They also gave us suggestions regarding the countertops that we listened too and are extremely happy with. Terry arranged everything for the granite countertops and was on top of every detail. Any time I called or e-mailed them I received responses with hours sometimes within minutes. Great job guys!!!

I contracted with CCCM and can't be more pleased with the process, workmanship and the people. Terry, Jody and Kevin are really terrific people and it was an absolute pleasure to have them in our home. Terry does a very thorough job in estimating the work and suggesting some really neat ideas that I would never have thought of on my own that added to the finished product without adding a lot of additional cost. Along the way, I added the installation of the doors and a new shower mixer to the job. Terry bent over backwards to fit these additions into his busy schedule which he did. When installing the bathroom mirrors, we found that waste pipes were in the way. Terry provided several options that would save me money, but I opted to have them move the pipes which they did flawlessly. Terry communicates constantly during the job and involves you in all the decisions along the way so there are never any surprises. CCCM is everything you want in a contractor. I highly recommend them.

Job 1: Terry modified his time schedule in order to meet our very stringent time constraints. Given our tight budget, he took the time to check w/his own suppliers if material could be made available sooner & or cheaper than from our original vendor. Terry & Jody proposed some modifications to the original plan which turned out to look very well thanks to Jody s though out design, while avoiding unnecessary spending. They did a wonderful job. They have wonderful people skills. Job 2: We called Terry, he contacted a structural engineer to evaluate & design the solution to the cut trusses. Terry & Jody proposed a solution to the engineer to minimize the cost of the repair. The engineer did the blueprints. Terry & his team opened time from their busy schedule to help us complete the job on time for the closing date. As w/other jobs, they did a wonderful work, on time & actually at a lower cost, thanks to Jody s expertise. We are planning to hire them for other jobs at our new house.
