Terry encouraged me to remove and replace the motor myself rather than have CCCM come out and do the work. I'm ordering a replacement today. I would recommend CCCM based on their honesty about the scale of the job and certainly plan to call them for future work when we finish our basement.
Description of Work: Talked to Terry about a burned out motor in my whole house fan.

Everything that CCCM did went great. I had issues with our cabinet vendor, but CCCM was true to its word in not taking a dime from you until the project was completed (even through the delays were caused by other vendors) and completed the work when all the other issues were sorted out with speed and quality. I enjoyed working with both Terry DeBartolo and Jody DeBartolo (although Terry may be harder to work with for some people). After everything was completed, Jody personally came out during the village inspection and fixed 1 issue (a very minor issue - everything else passed with flying colors) right away so we wouldn't have to wait for another inspection date. Overall, I had a great experience with CCCM.
Description of Work: CCCM remodeled our kitchen and the powder room. The work included: 1. New hardwood flooring for the kitchen and the bathroom (and refinishing the floors for the rest of the house to match the kitchen and the bathroom floors) 2. Gut rehabbing our kitchen with all new drywalls, new cabinets, new electrical wiring, new lights, new plumbing, new appliances, etc 3. Replacing all of the fixtures in the powder room 4. Painting the kitchen and the bathroom

CCCM is an excellent company to hire for a remodeling project. This company was initially hired to remodel my master bathroom and, because their work was professional, perfect and punctual, I asked them to also replace all my interior doors on the second floor of my home. Terry is easy to work with and the gentlemen who remodeled the bathroom went above and beyond to ensure that the results were what I wanted. I would very highly recommend CCCM, and I appreciate their conscientious professionalism. Thank you again.
Description of Work: CCCM remodeled my master bathroom which included replacing both tub/floor tile, the tub, and the vanity (including faucet), locating a bathroom leak, repairing said leak (in addition to the damage caused by the leak on the kitchen ceiling) and replacing all upstairs doors including trim.

CCCM did a fantastic job. The crew is always friendly and professional. They clean up thoroughly each day, keep us informed on issues & progress, and even tolerate an overly friendly dog. The previous owners had done much remodeling themselves and often did not do things properly, and we often find "surprises" when doing new projects. This project was no exception, and CCCM was able to correct issues while keeping costs in check. CCCM did a terrific job at installing a railing and essentially rebuilding a stairway to the basement. The woodwork looks great. The new room is much more open, polished, and has really changed the feel of the center part of the house. Careful planning is always good as part of projects of this magnitude. The price of the project was very fair for the work delivered. However, there was a miscommunication regarding the amount of trim to be replaced/installed, and this did increase the cost above the original quote. CCCM did a good job at offering cost-effective options and keep us informed on status. We would definitely recommend them and will call them for our next remodeling project.
Description of Work: Dining room and stairway to basement was gutted and remodeled. Work included drywall, painting, can lights, ceiling fan, electrical, and extensive woodwork/trim.

Needed someone to rescue our bamboo floors. Had a nightmare experience with a previous contractor who butchered the original installation in 2008. As a result, the floor boards had drifted apart (very wide cracks) and the bamboo was floating/not secured to the concrete beneath. CCCM agreed to try to rescue our flooring. Their estimate was not too far off from the final cost. I believe there were three gentlemen that worked diligently to fix the problem. They were professional, responsible, honest, and tidy, and did a great job. The company that made the bamboo flooring didn't make room dividers that matched -- but I found a great match at Home Depot... Although these borders did not sit right with our bamboo floor, CCCM cut/customized this product so that it looked perfect. Although it would have been great if our floors had been installed correctly the first time around, I am extremely grateful that CCCM was able to salvage our floor. Throughout the whole experience there was just one miscommunication, and Terry Debartolo was very accommodating and reasonable in rectifying it.
Description of Work: Needed to rescue a prior remodeling project (solid bamboo flooring installation) gone horribly wrong. Also needed to find room dividers for this floor.

We discussed setting up an appointment for an estimate. He suggested the following day which didn't work. He said he would call us back the following week and never did. I called and left a message that we must have had a miscommunication because we hadn't heard from him and we are still looking to set up an appointment for an estimate. We still haven't heard back. I'm glad business is good for him and am looking for a company that needs the business. I thank him for his time.

Response from CCCM Inc
The customer is correct that she did call and after some time discussing what her remodeling project entailed over the phone, we provided her an estimated cost based on her description work. She asked if we could come out and go over the project in person. I mentioned we could come out the following day however she said she was busy. I called back within a couple of days and left a message in regards to setting up a new appointment.I never heard back from the customer. I did not receive a message at any time from this customer after my first phone conversation in which I provided an estimated cost for the work. Maybe it is possible she did not receive my message. We are reliable, return phone calls and are always interested in new business and provideing great service. We would still be happy to set up an appointment with this customer if they wish to call us.

I had previously worked with CCCM on a major interior remodel of our 1954 home so I knew I was getting the best and didn't need to worry about a thing. Terry's estimate was right on. Jody designed the new walkway/courtyard and it looks amazing, completely transforming the curb appeal of our mid-century modern architecture. Now our house is completely up to date and stunning, inside and out. This is not just our opinion - we've gotten loads of compliments from friends and neighbors. Terry's concrete crew, led by Victor, were skilled and professional. They made sure I always had a protected surface to walk on and access to my garage. Their work was top notch. I cannot recommend CCCM strongly enough. They are all truly wonderful to work with and totally customer oriented. I miss you guys! Maybe new skylights next year?
Description of Work: Removed and replaced existing, large driveway and front walk/courtyard area with concrete, including a stamped concrete border and front walk, incorporating new planting areas. The entire driveway was redesigned and regraded. Also replaced two large concrete stoops on the back patio with stamped concrete.

We have high praise for Kevin as he did the majority of the work on both bathrooms. He is very attentive, meticulous, and neat. He does everything as if he?s working in his own home. And he diligently follows my wife?s two golden rules: One, measure twice, cut once, and two, do your utmost to do it right the first time. We have high praise for CCCM in general. The road from old to new for any home improvement project can be fraught with the unexpected, especially in an older home. During the installation period, they graciously accepted and applied every change requested, and all our questions were addressed in a timely and professional manner. Although we did have a basic drawing of each bathroom, we did not have a final architectural rendering. So there were a few things we had to work ?on the fly.? CCCM?s approach is 100% customer oriented. Thru out the process, CCCM remained perfectly true to Terry?s mantra, ?We will make it right!? CCCM has my highest recommendation. The finished bathrooms are beautiful and showroom quality! We?re very happy!
Description of Work: We had two full bathrooms remodeled, upper and lower. Both bathrooms were completely gutted and redone. The floors and walls were prepared with DenseShield and DuraRock as appropriate. Upstairs included new cabinetry (toilet topper, vanity, floor to ceiling cabinet), removed the bedroom entrance and sealed it with new drywall on both sides, mirror framed with cabinet trim, countertop with sink, tub, shower doors, wall tile to ceiling including a standard shampoo inset, floor tile, toilet, exhaust fan including new venting thru roof, light fixture, and wainscoting. The ceiling was repaired and painted. All walls were prepared for painting. Some electrical had to be rerouted. Accessories were installed. We painted the walls and wainscoting. Downstairs included new cabinetry (vanity, toilet topper), mirror framed with cabinet trim, countertop with sink, shower basin, shower doors, wall tile to ceiling including a standard shampoo inset, floor tile, toilet, exhaust fan including new venting to the side of the house (venting was extra), light fixture, and standard floor base trim. The ceiling was repaired and painted. All walls were prepared for painting. Accessories were installed. We painted the walls. As part of the deal, CCCM worked with the Village regarding the permits and inspections. Everything went very smoothly in this regard. During the work on the bathrooms, the main water valve was also replaced at our request.

Terry DeBartolo and the CCCM team get an A rating for the fine job they did on our bathroom. We were a little nervous when our start date got pushed back a couple of times because of problems on other jobs. But when our turn came, Terry estimated it was a 5 or 6 day project, and the work was indeed done in 5 days. The CCCM crew arrived each morning promptly at 7AM and worked steadily until 3PM. Rather than break for lunch, they ate "on the run." They spread drop clothes from the bathroom to our back door to minimize tracking dust and dirt, and cleaned up before leaving each day. While work was in progress in the tub/shower, they hung plastic so that we could still shower, knowing this was our only bathroom. When the job was finished, they filled half a dozen bags with debris ready for our regular garbage pickup. All the workers appeared to be good at their respective jobs and take pride in their work. They and Terry took time to discuss things such as our options on types of light switches and placement of new outlets and light/fan. Since this is our only bathroom, we wanted the job done right once we made the decision to do it. We doubt anyone could have served us better than the CCCM team. It's worth noting that Terry gave us a very detailed estimate of the work, breaking down the cost of each item, and requested no money up front. We were told that we would not need to write a check until entirely satisfied with the completed job.
Description of Work: The bathroom in our home, little changed in 44 years, was completely remodeled. Old plastic tile removed. New wallboard installed on 3 interior walls, timed so that I had the weekend to paint them. New wallboard first installed in tub area, then new faucet, showerhead and ceramic tile installed. The latter was seamlessly wrapped around a bothersome window that formerly had wooden frame and ledge. This meant always having a plastic curtain that only partially protected against water damage. Now we can leave the window uncovered and allow more light into the bathroom. A new vanity/sink/faucet were installed, along with a medicine cabinet and overhead light. A light/exhaust fan combination replaced the old ceiling light. New towel bars, a new heat register and new molding along the floor-line topped off our bathroom's "new look."

I called Terry DeBartolo on a Friday and he came came out Saturday afternoon to give us an estimate. He was on-time, professional and his quote was very reasonable. His reputation is impeccable. I feel bad that we didn't hire him - the only reason we didn't use him was we needed it done immediately and another contractor was able to start the next day. The next job we have we will definitely call Terry DeBartolo.

A grade of ?A? is just too low for this company! Terry went well above and beyond what I would expect anyone to do. It was just like having family working for you, people that genuinely care. The issues first started when I discovered that a large portion of the carpeting in my rental property was soaked. The property had been vacant for sometime and a leak had developed in the ceiling above my furnace. I turned off the water to the entire house, turned off the breaker to the furnace, and started contacting various plumbers on Angies List. My situation was urgent in that I had a tenant moving in less than 3 weeks and now had a potential mold problem (due to flooded carpet), a furnace that would not start after I turned the breaker back on, and a leak in my ceiling. To make matters worse, I had been at a new job only 2 days (after being out of work for some time) and did not want to take off work! All the plumbers I called said they would charge overtime for evening work. (That?s if they even answered the phone). But Terry from CCCM had a different approach. He first came out on a Saturday when I was off work to find out what was going on. He then determined that this was going to involve more than just an hour that morning to fix and did not charge me. I gave him a key to the house so I did not have to be there. That Monday they set to work on isolating the source of the leak. As it turned out, the bathtub was leaking a bit, but the larger source of the flood was the stupid ice maker line. I told him I wanted it disabled permanently and he fixed the lines so that it could not be reattached. Terry was in contact me throughout the day via cell phone as his employees worked on the home. He advised me that I could prevent problems down the road by installing shutoff valves for both the toilet and sink in the upstairs bathroom which is standard practice. Piping under the bathroom sink was original, over 50 years old and in bad shape so they replaced that. Later, his employees advised that the faucet in the kitchen sink was leaking which I completely forgot about! With my flood, the leaky kitchen faucet had completely escaped my mind. CCCM employees discovered rusty piping under the kitchen sink and replaced that as well. Then there was the dishwasher. Oh my, I had turned it on the week prior and noted that it sounded like a jet engine. But I had never checked if it was actually working (duh) and they determined that it was not. The water lines were all kinked up and no water was even coming to it. Wiring to the dishwasher was exposed and they found and fixed that as well. Someone could have gotten a shock if they stuck their hands back there. During the course of the work it became necessary to cut thru drywall and Terry advised me that insurance claims could cover such work (not the actual plumbing work) but work resulting from damage that failed plumbing caused. This even
Description of Work: Isolate source of a leak coming from the ceiling into the lower level of my raised ranch rental property. This could have been any one of a multitude of things, but turned out to be a leaking ice maker water line. Replaced faulty fixture that was leaking on bathtub upstairs which involved cutting into plastic liner to get to it. Replaced shutoff valve on toilet upstairs. Installed a new shutoff valve on the sink upstairs and replaced old piping that was rusting. Fixed leaky faucet in kitchen sink. The piping under the kitchen sink was also leaking and was over 50 years old. Identified faulty dishwasher installation and fixed wiring so that it was up to code. Fixed water lines to dishwasher which were kinked up and did not allow water to come to dishwasher. Provided additional covering for electrical fixture downstairs. Provided guidance on seeking coverage by my insurance company for portions of the work. Provided valuable advice on proper installation of carpeting (since I had to have new carpeting put in). Provided valuable advice on other aspects of owning a rental property $1,800.00 for 20 hrs of labor over 2 days $325.79 for materials (at cost!) Plumbing company "Y" who I used the prior month charged me a lot more than $325 and for far less materials.

We chose CCCM to remodel our bathroom and kitchen after they remodeled my in-laws kitchen 15 years ago. Terry DeBartolo worked with us to design a more functional, open kitchen in an older home and add a double shower in our master bath. We expanded the job to include new interior doors and trim, remove a wall and open doorways. With his extensive experience he was able to make helpful suggestions and thought of the small details that made a huge difference in the finished rooms. His followup and customer care are outstanding. Terry surrounds himself with professionals from his crew to the the vendors he works with. He holds everyone to his own high standards. He worked hard to make everything go smoothly. Since then I have had CCCM back to do smaller projects and we are currently working on designing a new fireplace front and mantle for our family room. I am a Realtor and have often worked with CCCM to remodel, repair and update homes to get them market ready, including investment properties I own. I have no hesitation in referring clients to him. Most recently, a seller hired CCCM to remodel a powder room, change light fixtures and repair a wood deck. He also noted items that might be home inspection issues and gave us estimates on those repairs. The changes helped make a previously outdated home sell. He helped us keep within our budget and focus on the improvements that would be most beneficial. It's great to have a company like CCCM available for both my personal properties and as a trusted service provider for my clients.
Description of Work: CCCM has remodeled our bathroom, kitchen, replaced interior doors, trim and a window, and completed plumbing and electrical updates in our home . They have done repairs, plumbing updating, carpet, tile and paint in our investment properties. They have remodeled baths, kitchens, laundry rooms, flooring and done electrical work in my clients homes and helped me to prepare homes for sale.

Called originally for small electrical job, expanded work order because I liked them immediately, knowledgeable, upfront on price t & m, on schedule as promised. Terry, Jody, Kevin and the crew are the best, they are experienced, honest, kept me informed, made suggestions and saved me from overpaying for work quoted from another company. They were also able to find the correct sewer line (neither the Village or another company could do so) and clean out the line, saving me the cost of unnecessary work. I highly recommend cccm to everyone, they are my heroes. When they left my home everything was cleaned up and all work completed to my total satisfaction. Look forward to using them again in the spring....
Description of Work: Everything, we went down my list, painting, electrical, major water pipe rodding, general repairs, hot water tank replaced, light switch dimmers, rewire light. Repair grout and tile in bay, repair plaster ceiling in kitchen and family room, replace drop ceiling laundry room. They were able to find the correct water line (after the village and another company were not) and rod out and clear the lines...amazing.

Terry DeBartolo and his son Jami gave us a very reasonable quote and let us know the price might be higher if the bathroom wall needed work behind the old tile. Jami did an excellent job installing the new tub. Jim, "the tile guy" was prompt, efficient, kept me updated on how the work was progressing and aware of any changes or problems. He cleaned up after himself and did high quality work. Terry emailed us back promptly about measurements or to clear up any questions we had. We hope to use their services again on our basement bathroom.
Description of Work: Remove plaster, remove existing tub, install shield board. Straighten walls, install new tub, install new wall tile. Install new floor tile. Overall an excellent experience. I called the owner and told him what I needed. He picked up the toilet for me, but I already had the faucet and light fixtures. Terry came early and introduced himself and even ran to pick up extra supplies we didn't know we needed until we began the process. Kevin was very professional and did an excellent job. All garbage was removed and the bathroom cleaned. I never would have known they were there. I was very happy with the work that was done. It was nice to have dependable, reliable and personable people working in my home.

We wanted to update the hardware in our bathtub, but the do-it-yourself job turned out to be more than we could handle. Terry was quick to respond to my inquiry and within a couple of days he came over to give us an estimate; he also brought his crew member, Kevin to do the work. I have to admit, I was a little nervous when Kevin had to cut a hole in the living room drywall to access the pipes, but before he left, he taped and mudded the drywall so professionally that you couldn't even tell that it had been cut. We are very happy with the service we received; Kevin is knowledgeable, courteous and professional.. we will gladly give a positive referral to all that ask!

This was undoubtedly the best remodeling experience we have ever had. We previously had our kitchen remodeled and the contractor (not CCCM) disappeared for three weeks and did not return phone calls. We had our hall bath previously done by someone else and he made mistakes, including the electrical work. Not only does Terry answer your phone calls promptly, he calls you during the process to make sure all is going well and to your satisfaction. Jody, Brian, Kevin and Jim (the tile subcontractor) are the best. They did great work and were very nice to work with. They respect you and your home and you are happy to have them there. If you want the best remodeling experience and results possible, you'll choose CCCM. The amount listed above included all labor and materials. The amount of the labor billed was exactly what was in the proposal. They are the best and worth every penny.
Description of Work: CCCM completely gutted our master bath, including removal of a wall dividing the vanity and toilet/shower area. All floor and wall tile was replaced, along with all fixtures and vanity. New recessed mirrored medicine cabinets were also installed. Additional lighting and electrical outlets were installed. Terry's electricians found some defects that had to be corrected, as well as the need to add additional circuits. Turns out we had some dangerous situations and Terry saw to it that they were corrected. We are much safer now. The guys also painted the bathroom and it looks great. We also had CCCM re-tile our laundry room floor and replace and paint all new doors, including bi-fold closet doors throughout the house. We went from dark dingy slab doors to beautifully painted six-panel doors. What a difference!

From start to finish the overall experience went very well. I was nervous at first that the leak was in the wall and that it would end up costing me dearly to fix the problem. Terry took his time to diagnose the problem and afterward reassured me that the problem was not in the walls. Terry later discovered that the problem was with the hose that connects the water source to the tank. He also ended up replacing the seal in the toilet bowl itself to make sure it was not defective.
Description of Work: I called CCCM Inc. after finding out from my downstairs neighbor that water was leaking from her ceiling. I spoke with Terry who was doing some work in my suburb and he informed me that he would be right over to take a look at my leak. After arriving at my condo Terry grabbed his tools and we went and to my neighbors house to check on the water leaking in to her unit. He quickly drained the water that was pooling in her ceiling and made a relief hole for extra water to pass through to prevent further damage to the ceiling. Once that was done he headed up to my condo unit on the second floor to try and determine where the leak was coming from. Terry quickly figured out that the leak was coming from my toilet and that the hose that supplies water to the tank was leaking. He went down to his truck where he had an extra hose. After replacing the house we still had some leakage. Terry graciously offered to run to Home Depot to pick up another part that I needed for the repair even though he had a previous obligation which I was eating time from. After returning from Home Depot and replacing the part in the toilet bowl Terry only charged me for the parts he purchased and a 1 hour service charge even though he was there a bit longer than that. He then went down and spoke with the neighbor and provided her with an update on the leak and what follow up actions we would take. Later in the day he called me back to make sure my unit was not leaking.

Wonderful! Terry and his team performed first class craftsmanship, were punctual, polite, and worked with us every step of the way. They did not hesitate to make suggestions, walk us through the pros and cons of various alternatives, and made every effort to work within our budget. We feel like they are people you can flip a coin with over the phone. We recommend them highly and will definitely call on CCCM in the future.

We are repeat customers. We had a very good experience with CCCM when we hired them to correct the mistakes of a different contractor who botched up both our kitchen and bathroom. CCCM did a great job fixing our kitchen and completing the kitchen remodel we wanted them back to complete the bathroom as well. We are very happy with their work and Kevin did most of the work in the bathroom. All the guys that work for CCCM do excellent work and the owner Terry DeBartolo is right on top of following thru with the customer making sure you are happy with the work and if their are any issues he takes care of it right away. They are very professional and care about the quality of work. Very pleasant. They charge $95/hr which was more expensive than the first contractor but then again the first contractor made multiple mistakes that cost us much more than if it was done correct the first time. I will definitely pay more money if it means having quality work done in my home and peace of mind.
Description of Work: They installed the bathroom vanity, faucet, toilet, ceiling exhaust fan, moved electric in bathroom and installed light fixture and thermostat for heated flooring, towel bars, mirror, drywall work, primed and painted the bathroom. Additional work included removing and installing laundry room door. Painting the kitchen ceiling and pantry door. Costs include materials purchased for misc. plumbing and electrical. Final cost was minimally higher than estimate due to extra unforeseen materials.
