concrete repair, home remodeling

This is my 4th project with CCCM. Previous projects included an extensive remodel of home interior, installation of glass backsplash, and a redesign and replacement of driveway. After seeing how gorgeous the new driveway turned out last year using stamped concrete, I had to redo my 60 year old patio and walkway. Terry and his son Jody helped me to reconfigure the outline of the patio area to create a "free form" footprint that is so much more inviting than the previous rectangular shape. Then Victor and his crew got to work. There was a tremendous amount of labor involved as the broken concrete and the new concrete all had to be carried by wheel barrows. It was really amazing to watch. The end result is even better than I imagined both from an aesthetic and a functional perspective. Water no longer collects on the patio but drains into the planting areas. And Victor went above and beyond by creating a small brick path to my planting table with some existing pavers I had. It is all quite beautiful and can be enjoyed as much from inside the house as outside. My neighbors are amazed and extremely complimentary of the transformation of my home over the last 2 1/2 years. Thank you CCCM! You're not only my contractors for life, you have become very good friends.
Description of Work: Removed existing patio and side walkway, redesigned and replaced with stamped concrete.

After our carpet was destroyed due to flooding CCCM set us up quickly and got us a great price on carpeting for our large family room. The carpeting is excellent quality with the best pad available for our large, oddly shaped room. The install went quickly and cleanly. CCCM delivered as promised and we just love how fast they were able to put our room back together. It looks like new!

CCCM replaced an old and very leaky outdoor faucet. This entailed cutting out the old faucet and replacing with new along with retrofitting some interior piping. Unfortunately, where the pipe comes into the house is in a very tight space making it difficult to cut the old sill c*** out as well as sweating in new piping and interior shutoff valve. However, CCCM did an excellent job and delivered as promised. I am very happy with the outcome.

One of the things that I really like was that they would pass their discounts on to their customers. Their pricing was probably at the midpoint of the estimates we received, and their price ended up being a little less than what they quoted due to the discounts.

CCCM recently remodeled our kitchen, powder room and laundry room and finished on time and with no hidden or surprise costs! They arrived everyday on time with a friendly attitude; and cleaned up before they left. Everyone from owners Terry & Jody DeBartolo, Kevin, Carl, Jimmy, the electricians, plumbers and wood floor refinisher all worked professionally as a team to provide us with an amazing new kitchen, powder room and laundry room. Unfortunately we did not go with their usual cabinet suppliers and had numerous issues with Jerry Sitter, Cabinet Broker. Even though we did not get the cabinets from CCCM they worked to correct many of the problems that Jerry Sitter refused to handle. I was impressed by level of CCCM’s professionalism; they looked out for our interests and took the time to work on issues and problems with the cabinet broker. We have done a number of remodel/additions projects and this has been the best overall experience. My children and I miss seeing them; and even our golden retriever Bella misses them; especially Jody who she adores! Any future projects will be with CCCM and I would highly recommend CCCM. The CCCM team has the qualities that make for a great remodel/addition: High integrity - Knowledgeable – Value added ideas - Honored their word - Professional & Reliable - High quality work - Friendly and courteous - Pleasure to have in our home.

This company is very professional. From start to finish, everything went well. Terry guided us thru the whole process, making sure that we would get what we wanted at the best price possible. We went on with our lives and he personally watched over our job. He called or e-mailed often to make sure that we were pleased with the way it was going. When Terry and Jody came over in Jan. to look at the bathroom, they told us that it would be six months before they could get to our job. We signed the contract and almost to the day, Terry called and said that they were ready to start. We are glad that we waited because our newly remodeled bathroom is perfect.

Based on a search on Angie's list, and on BBB ratings, CCCM was one of four companies I selected to provide quotations for the renovation. When I called them to request a quote, the person I spoke to was very cordial and sounded interested in bidding on the work. He did mention that his firm was extremely busy and that it could be a couple of months before he could do the work. I told him that schedule was only one of the criteria I would use to select a contractor. He took my telephone number and promised to call me the next day to schedule a site visit. That was almost three months ago and I still have not heard from CCCM. Even if the company was too busy to do the work, I would have expected that common courtesy would dictate that they call me back and say so. I received two bids from the other three companies I contacted, both of which were very competitive. The third company declined to bid because they could not be available for three months and felt that this would make them uncompetitive. I was fine with that because they at least said so.
Description of Work: Renovation of an existing powder room, to include removal of a clothes closet and dry walling the closet door opening, addition of a new shower enclosure, tiling the floor of the renovated room and the walls of the shower enclosure, and replacement of a toilet.

Response from CCCM Inc
I do not remember this member or his call. However if I told him we were several months out with work, he may have opted to hold off on us while searching for other contractors. If we going to set up an appointment with him, we would have set it up with him, while on the phone, at that time. I am a little surprised he waited all these months, when he could have called the following day (just in case we misplaced his number) to follow up with our conversation from the evening before. We apologize for any lack in communication regarding a potential meeting.

I contacted four different A+ providers from Angie's List to set up appointments for a kitchen make-over. All four showed up, but only two ever got back to me to follow-up. I ended up choosing the A+ Gold Star (6 or 7 years in a row) provider, CCCM INC, because when I met with them they seemed the most professional, well managed and customer responsive. They had excellent suggestions for the remodel and provided specific plans. In addition, they completely front the entire job with the customer not paying anything (except outside vendors for cabinets, tile, appliances, etc.) until the job is finished. Further, they negotiate special pricing with their selected vendors (cabinets, lighting, counter tops, etc.) all of whom they work with to insure excellent quality, great service and responsiveness. The customer can either go with one of their vendors or choose their own. In my opinion, their vendors provided great quality and excellent service because if they didn’t they would have to deal with CCCM INC. In addition, they promised that they would go with me to help pick the cabinets, counter tops, lighting, etc., which, of course they did and were a great help. My initial meeting was with the owners, Terry and Jody DeBartolo (father and son), who, as it turns out would also oversee the entire job start to finish. Terry or Jody was at the job to check on the work virtually every day, and at times would show up together. On one occasion after the skylight had been installed they both showed up, looked at the manner in which the skylight had been installed and were not happy with what they saw. Jody got up on the roof with the installer, took out the entire skylight and then put it back in properly. And, this is only one example of the attention to detail these guys give to the job. If they see something they don’t like or the customer points out something he/she does not like they will correct it without question. In another case, I needed to have some of the original floor tiles replaced because they were cracked or otherwise damaged; they were handmade Mexican Saltillo Terra Cotta and it was nearly impossible to find a match color wise. So Terry, had their tile vendor check with a source in Mexico to custom make some replacement tiles for me, and the cost was very affordable. Whatever the customer wants these guys will work to find a way to make it happen. Overall, the entire kitchen was completely ripped out back to the studs including the ceiling and replaced. Significant new wiring was needed and was added along with some needed circuits and of course the whole job was approved by the town for code. They installed new cabinets, granite counter tops, appliances, sink, backsplash tile, skylight, under counter lights, ceiling recessed lighting, and over the sink lighting. Everyone who has seen the new kitchen comments first how much they like the design and secondly on the quality of the materials and products, and thirdly on the fit and finish of the work. This company is definitely a Gold Star performer in my opinion and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Description of Work: CCCM Inc. did a complete kitchen make-over from design to implementation, adding a skylight, enlarging several doorway, installing new appliances, new lights, new cabinets, and new counter tops, etc. The only item that remained from the original 1979 kitchen was the mexican tile flooring.

Terry came out when he promised. However, I just didn't mesh up with him. Terry has been in the business for a long time. This is generally a good thing. However, I found that he made a lot of assumptions that I didn't agree with. I felt as if he knew what he wanted to do with my bathroom but didn't really listen to what I had to say. For example. I knew exactly what I wanted to use in my bathroom and where I needed to source it (because it was a period type remodel - you can't just pick the stuff up anywhere). I am very picky person, and, I explained this to him. However, he was insistent that I use his sources for my fixtures for the potential cost savings - which of course would not materialize due to the nature of the work being performed. In any event, to get his contractor pricing he needed to give me an allowance. In his estimate, he gave me an allowance which covered a tiny fraction of what I needed to spend (which I expected). For example, he gave me $150 dollars for a cast iron tub? He also gave me $150 for my shower hardware and $150 dollars for a pedestal sink... In addition when we talked about mounting a recessed medicine cabinet he told me it may not be possible. When I asked what could be done he told me that if there were issues he would just mount it on the wall. When I said I didn't want that he told me that there may not be an option to do anything else. Given that the cabinet I wanted was not designed to surface mount I was kind of annoyed with his solution - and lack of options. The company that I ended up dealing with offered to open the wall to see if there would be an issue - when there was an issue, they did some re-routing of the offending pipe and installed the cabinet as I wanted. I am the type of person that likes options. I am very capable of determining if I want to spend extra money to get what I want. One other thing. He also got on my wife's nerves by referring to her as "The Misses". It would have been nice for him to refer to her by her name. In any event, he seems like a nice guy and by the accounts here on Angies List, he does good work. However, if you know what you want and how you want to do things, I would anticipate some clash. If not, you will probably be fine. Just something to keep in mind. I have to reply to response provided by CCCM The response from this company is precisely the reason that I chose not to go with them. There are several elements to the response that are completely fabricated. The only thing that I was looking for was a quote on the work. I was supplying all material to complete the bathroom (read my write up). The response from the company first states that I had a low budget and was trying to get them to provide high end fixtures within that budget - then goes on to say that didn't want to use their supply houses...kind of a contradiction...draw your own conclusions. On the second point of rerouting lines. I would never suggest anything be performed for free nor would any sane contractor agree to that arrangement. Things happen on projects and I get that. I had no issue paying to resolve problems and I did just that when the work was preformed. What I did not like was when I asked the question "what if there is something in the way" and he told me "plan b" we mount it to the wall. What about plan c - reroute the lines - I shouldn't have to press for that. Don't make the assumption that I will not want to pay to do the work. It is insulting. Again, in the last part of the company's response there is mention of the fact that I was provided with allowances that correlated to the items I wanted. Again, a complete fabrication. Read my original write up. Most of the products were period based - I purchased them from Rejuvenation in San Francisco. This company manufactures and sells its own products - there was nothing that CCCM could provide to me from their suppliers... Finally, the idea that my decision to not use this company was financially driven is ridiculous. I would not spend the money I did on fixtures to skimp on the execution. That is just not the way that I operate. I pick the best company for the job. In closing. I do not always contribute to Angles List. However, I thought that in this case it made sense to do so. I had tempered my initial comments (by rating them a B) and hoped that they would help CCCM to understand one potential customers concern with how they do business. It would have been nice to simply agree to disagree on this point rather than turn this into a mudslinging event.

Response from CCCM Inc
The member by his own admission was extremely picky. This is usually not an issue for us as we perform high quality work. However, this member also had a very low budget he wanted to meet in order to complete the project within his budget. He wanted high end fixtures as part of the project included in our pricing. I tried to explain to him that it is difficult to perform hign end work on a low end budget. I also offered to him to use our supply houses at our discounted cost to help save money. He said he had better sources and declined, without even looking. I offered the products at our cost ,however he felt he could do better on his own. I mentioned there may be plumbing or electrical issues in the wall that may have to be rerouted if in the way of what he wanted to do. He felt that we should provide this work for free if in the way. I provided a proposal to the member with allowances for the cost from our suppliers of the product he asked for. The proposed price did not meet the low budget he had in mind. Apparently he found a contractor who was willing to work within his budget, and the member went out and purchased his own product.

I will never use anyone else, but these guys ever again. You won?t find a contractor who is more responsive. About three years ago they remodeled my kitchen. They were punctual and professional. They did beautiful work. They would discuss the problems if there was any and were very responsive to it. You can reach the owner twenty four hours and seven days a week on his cell phone. Their price was fair. They redesigned my kitchen and cabinets. They put fireplace in. Everything they did was super top notch. You will never find anyone like them. They don?t gauge people. They were fantastic. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used CCCM Inc probably a month or a month and a half ago. They put in a new garbage disposal. They did little plumbing work in the shower.

Selected CCCM based on Angie's List reviews to provide an estimate, along with 2 other contractors. Chose CCCM because they seemed to have the best combination of experience, price and flexibility. Agreed in October. Project did not begin until Feb. 28, due to waiting for cabinets to be built (5 weeks), then CCCM schedule and then due to our travel in Jan./Feb. Terry referred me to vendors for cabinetry, tile & fixtures. There was some confusion about the countertop that caused me more stress than I would have liked and the fixtures vendor made a mistake about one of the toilets that Terry blamed me for - although I think he was joking. Getting the project going seemed a bit stressful. Also, Terry wouldn't stop asking me for a good review on Angie's List. Hence the "B" for professionalism. The actual work was done wonderfully. Jim showed up exactly on time every day and finished a day early. He did beautiful work, quickly, quietly, cleanly and respectfully. The rest of the work was equally well done. The invoice was timely and accurate, with all supporting receipts. I happily sent a check as soon as I could. Although it took a while to get it done and there was some slightly off project management aspects, the overall experience was excellent - great work by great people at a great price.
Description of Work: 1. Bathroom remodel: removal of vanity, toilet & vinyl flooring; installation of travertine tile floor, new vanity, towel cabinet & toilet; move medicine cabinet to accommodate higher new vanity; paint walls; 2. replace toilet in 2nd bathroom; 3. rework some gutters.

Excellent job. They started on time every day and made excellent progress through the 3 day job. Good communication on what to expect at start and end of each day. High quality tile job, clearly professional. Handled uneven floor superbly. Moved appliances as needed and dealt with in place wash sink without removal. Clean up after every day was impeccable. Wonderful job on new primed oversized base boards. Effectively dealt with uneven walls and pitched floor, and as a result the finish carpentry was well done. Delivered as promised, couldn't be happier with the experience or outcome!

All of the work was very well done. The work site was cleaned every afternoon when the day ended and they were very careful about the rest of the house. They papered and taped our hardwood stairs and used drop cloths everywhere. Jody, Jim, Kevin and "The Dude" (Karl) were courteous and helpful with suggestions as the job progressed. They also listened to any changes we wanted to make along the way and incorporated them into the job. I couldn't have asked for a better and nicer team to work with. If they encountered a problem or something they had not perceived ahead of time, they made sure they contacted us and discussed solutions. Jody was even a big help in fixing a few minor problems in other areas of my house. And Karl fixed our hot water heater. Terry visited the job site when needed, but left the men to do their work. And if I called him for something, he was quick to call me back or handled every issue immediately. Because of all the materials delivered, I had to keep my car out of the garage. One night there was a terrible ice storm and my car door was sealed shut. I asked for help to rearrange the garage so I could get my car in. By the time I returned from an errand, it was done! When it came time to pay the bill, Terry was so laid back! Since travel was involved for both of us it was almost a month later that we finally got together to handle final payment. We could not have asked for a better experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate them a definite 10!!! And we would use them for any other jobs in our house. And definitely recommend this company to any family member or friend who is looking to have anything done.
Description of Work: Two bathrooms were completely gutted and remodeled. In both bathrooms the old soffits were removed. In the Master Bath Jim tiled the shower walls, new ceramic tile on the floor, a shampoo niche put in with different glass tile on the inside, glass tile on the floor of the shower, a light installed in the shower and a new shower door. Jim suggested a piece of granite that would match the countertop to be put on the bottom where the shower door sits. It looks beautiful! Also extra can lights were installed along with an exhaust fan. A special order vanity with glass doors, three drawers and a vanity drawer were installed and a shelving piece. A new sink, granite countertop, faucet, mirrors and a small medicine cabinet mounted in the wall. New can lights were installed over the sink area and in the room itself. This was suggested by Jody. Plenty of light! Extra electrical outlets were added. A brand new toilet along with new faucet in the shower area. When the old tile was taken off the walls, Jim provided extra insulation. He also added support to the walls. Walls were replaced where needed, taped and plastered. The second bathroom was newly tiled, shampoo niche installed, new deep tub, toilet, new ceramic on the floor, new double vanity and double sinks, new faucets, new mirror, new can lights, new fan, new shower door. Kevin added support to the tub area and fixed the walls. In an effort to make the room look larger we had them cut out part of the wall and install glass. It looks great! In the shower niche Jim did a great job of designing with the special pieces I purchased but wasn't sure how to place them. He cut everything to fit perfectly and I feel like it looks like an expensive Spa! These men worked on our house as if it was their own. All of the work is top notch!

Exceptional work! From start to finish, workers were prompt, polite, professional and kept the mess to a minimum. They made sure work area and any other areas around the house (garage for cutting tile) were cleaned before they left for the day. Jim the tile guy did an amazing job. Terry and Jodi were a pleasure to work with and always available either on site or by phone to answer any questions I had. I would absolutely hire CCCM in the future.

Excellent job. Bathroom job is beautiful and included custom shower tile job to accommodate odd size. Tile and heated floor also installed. New drywall, electrical and retrofitted plumbing all done with high quality and quickly. CCCM also did a nice job to remedy pre-existing ventilation issues. The bathroom couldn't look any better! Problems were encountered with owner supplied doors due to manufacturing defects. CCCM worked hard to remedy defects. While extra work was required, CCCM was very fair on price due to extra labor required. This company is excellent to work with; they are prompt, fair and professional. Very clear on schedule of work and stick to their plans. Clean up at end of day is excellent.

We needed to replace our hot water tank so we called CCCM for an estimate. Jody and Terry came over and looked at what the job entailed. We also asked them to correct some dryer problems. Terry?s estimate was in line with other estimates we had received except for one thing??????his estimate was for a 50 gal tank while others were for a 40 gallon tank. Based on our experience with CCCM in September we chose CCCM. Carl and Jody arrived promptly at 9:00 AM. Carl started working on replacing the hot water tank while Jody worked on the dryer problem. One thing I liked is they replaced the flexible gas line on the heater with black gas pipe; an upgrade, in my opinion, over flexible gas lines.

My elderly parents had been in their home for 40 years and it had been neglected for the last 15 years. My father was a "do it yourself " kind of homeowner and many of the he made were not done correctly. As he got older some of the contractors he hired had taken advantage of him and and done a poor or incomplete job. When they moved to our home it was time to get their home ready to sell. The thought of this was overwhelming and something I had dreaded for years. Everything needed to be done. CCCM handled the entire job start to finish. They repaired 3 leaking foundation cracks, replaced plumbing that had rusted through, repaired a leaking skylight that what improperly installed, re-insulated the home, expanded and remodeled the kitchen and remodeled 2 baths. They converted one bath tub to a walk in shower, replaced the interior and exterior doors and roof, installed new electric service to bring it up to code, installed flooring and painted the interior of the home. They obtained village permits, helped me to select fixtures and cabinets, explained the entire process and updated me on costs as the job progressed. The owner Terry DeBartolo kept in contact during the entire job and kept things running smoothly and on time. He accompanied me to vendors he works with and that he knew had good prices, products and service. Co owner, Jody DeBartolo designed a new layout for the kitchen and provided me with computer generated elevations so I could see the way it would look. The workmen were professional and gave attention to the smallest details. They found many unexpected issues with the house as the job progressed but each time CCCM was able to correct it. We had thought about selling it as a fixer upper but now it looks like new! We got our first offer on the home within 30 days.

We enjoyed working with this family company for the second time. We can trust the quality of their work and appreciate that they give ideas for what will work the best, while still following our plans. CCCM, Inc has given us a great family space and we are grateful.
Description of Work: Gutted and remodeled our basement, including a bathroom. Moved a water pipe and meter, installed insulation and drywall, sheet vinyl flooring, new electrical and can lights, doors, cabinets, tiling on stairs, and stair railing.

II contacted Terry via Angie's List. He called me within a half an hour and discussed my problem. We scheduled a time for him to come over to inspect the situation. He and his son came over and examined the problem and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that it was likely that I would not have to replace the pipes. We arranged for a time to have the work done. As scheduled, the guys showed up exactly on time (7am) .They were very courteous and professional and were able to fix the problem without going through the expense of replacing pipes. I was very pleased with the work and the cost. Most of all I felt that I was dealing with someone that I could trust and would definitely recommend to any of my friends.
Description of Work: Water flow in the tub & shower was very weak. Expected that the water pipes would have to be replaced based on other opinions. Terry's son and asistant came in and analyzed the situation and were able to fix the problem without going through the expense of replacing pipes.

Terry and Jody (owners) always went the extra mile to answer questions or help us make the best decisions for materials, design and function, as well as help us stay within our budget. They were attentive to details and provided best options even if it meant meeting us at product showrooms, drawing templates for the actual space to help us visualize things or doing extra research to make all the pieces come together. We requested some oversized features and specific materials for our kitchen) Jody accommodated us and created a design with these specifics that was balanced, practical, beautiful, and unique. The crew, Kevin, Brian and other tradesmen were very professional, realiable and also did great work. During the rennovation, the crew cleaned up the workspace each day before leaving. In addition, the workers were pleasant and respectful ...we felt comfortable with them in our home. We have already recommended CCCM to others who are considering doing kitchen or bath rennovations.
Description of Work: In fall 2009, we contacted CCCM for an estimate for the design and rennovation of our outdated existing kitchen and bathroom. CCCM met with us and then submitted a detailed proposal, design and fee schedule for the project. We accepted the proposal and are very happy we did. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful and functional and the quality of the work is excellent. The owners and the crew were professional, reliable, honest, responsive and easy to work with throughout the project. The project was completed to code...on time...and on budget. We would definitely work with CCCM again!

CCCM was one of three estimates we initially received. All estimates were within $100.00 of each other but we decided on CCCM based upon the reviews and quality of workmanship as noted on Angie?s List. One of the biggest decisions we faced was to go with a conventional fiberglass shower base or a Schluter membrane shower install. The Schluter install has a higher price tag than conventional shower bases but according to Terry he has never had one leak plus Terry said he had so much confidence in the system that we could take a shower after the membrane was installed. In addition, this type of system has been used on ?This Old House? and ?Holmes On Homes?. Terry also gave us many contacts for choices- tile, shower doors, sinks etc. The contacts always had good things to say about him. The first thing the guys did when they arrived on Monday morning was to lay down a sticky carpet protector the entire length of the upstairs hallway and partway into the master bedroom. From that point on a tarp was rolled out onto the floor where the demolition would occur. Jim and Brian then demolished the master bath vanity area and shower area. The shower area was reinforced for a future grab bar and insulation was added to the interior walls for noise reduction. The Schluter system was then installed on the shower floor and walls and Jim made sure that everything was watertight. ? ?cement board was glued and screwed into the subfloor every 5-6 inches. I was told that this was to prevent future cracking of the tiles. Then the shower floor and walls were tiled as well as tiling the shampoo niche and adding a soap dish. Jim, ?the tile master?, spent considerable time in completing the tile work in the shower and the floor. We were told initially by Terry that Jim was one of the three best tilers in the state. We agree with that!!! Jim did quality work and is a perfectionist in his trade. My wife called him ?The Artiste? The new vanity and countertop were then installed as well as some minor plumbing changes. Now it was time to add the oak trim and doors. Due to a medical condition, the doors and trim were stained off site and then delivered by the painting contractor. For the door and trim install Terry sent Kevin. We cannot say enough about the excellent work Kevin did in hanging the doors and installing the trim. One door in particular he spent in excess of an hour making sure it was plumb and square. Kevin also had to install a double French door in the master bedroom which also took a considerable amount of time but everything works fine. He was very attentive, meticulous, and neat. He does everything as if he?s working in his own home. Jim and Kevin really showed that they were masters of their trades. Everyone was here at 7:00 AM and at the end of each day the carpet protector was vacuumed and the garage was swept out. On trash pickup day Jim and Kevin moved the trash to the curb as well. When it was time to pay the invoice, Terry gave a detailed listing of the materials purchased as well as any credits due to pricing changes. All in all we were very happy with the work performed by Team Terry and would recommend them to anyone. In our opinion Terry is the Mike Holmes of the northwest suburbs. DO IT RIGHT!!!!
Description of Work: Remove and replace upstairs hall bath vanity, countertop and floor tile; remove and replace master shower vanity, countertop, shower area and floor tile of master shower; remove and replace all upstairs doors and trim; remove and replace all exhaust fans.

This is the 3rd time I've used Terry and, as before, the result is beautiful. Kevin and Carl did a wonderful job with the wood flooring. Everyone who has seen it thinks it is beautiful. The doors are gorgeous. We couldn't be happier with the door quality and the finish on them. The guys were so patient with all of my 4 year old's questions and watching and studying what they were doing. He still talks about Kevin and Carl today and how cool they are. As always, a showpiece job!
Description of Work: New hardwood flooring in living room, dining room, and front hall. New doors and base trim on the first floor. Remodeled 1/2 bath on first floor with new toilet, sink, and tile floor.

We had a very positive experience with CCCM. The original quote was approx $31,500 but we added additional work and were required by the city to install interconnecting smoke detectors. Terry is very attentive to detail and we really appreciated the fact that he is available almost 24/7 and willing to meet on weekends. This was important to us since we both work full-time. His schedule was already full when he accepted our job but they managed to work within our timeframe. Terry might come across as a little argumentative at times but that's because he really knows what's best based on his decades of experience and wants the client to be happy with the end result. He's really very accomodating and eager to please - the whole team is. We were very appreciative when Terry and Jody went to several tile stores to select a bullnose tile for the existing bath to match the existing tile in the shower (the rest of the master bath was completely gutted including removing 3 walls and installing a soaking tub and new vanity). The powder room was also gutted as was half of the second bathroom. CCCM also combined two closets for us to make a large master. All other closets doors were replaced with new bifold doors. The whole CCCM team was pleasant and polite to work with and we would use them again. In fact, we've already asked them back for some minor projects and if we remodel the kitchen they will be the ones we call as Jody has some great design ideas. We have no reservation in highly recommending CCCM.
Description of Work: We had Terry and his team update 1 1/2 baths, change closet doors, and repair miscellaneous areas in the house.

This is our 2nd time hiring Terry and his crew. We couldn't be happier with the results. They did a great job not only with the construction, but also providing helpful design ideas which turned out to be 'right on,' and made excellent countertop and cabinet recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Terry to anyone planning a renovation/remodeling.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel. Team Terry tore out and installed new cabinets, countertops, and 3 new windows.

It went perfectly. They arrive on time, are extremely professional, and leave the worksite spotless. Jody was able to articulate my description of what I wanted the surround to look like into a working design. The construction and workmanship were exceptional.
Description of Work: CCCM helped design and build a custom fireplace surround. They also removed old ceramic floor tiles and replaced them with a slab of granite.
